I have been a long time customer of Bayird. I brought my vehicle to them for diagnostics and repair. I was advised that I needed multiple parts to fix the problem and one was on backorder. I was given an estimate of 30-45 days before the part was expected to become available. While frustrating, this is not Bayird’s fault. I take issue with the fact that there was minimal communication. It was two weeks before they contacted me with the results of the diagnostics. Over the course of waiting for the part, I received very rare updates . When I called, I was placed on hold for 45+ minutes at a time. Someone in the service department would take a message, reassuring me that they would call me back. Over 8 weeks, I rarely got a call back. At nearly week 6, I was told that they had located a part and was given the expected delivery date. A week after that date, I still had not heard anything. My spouse called to check the status and Bayird responded as though they had never located a part to be ordered. I called and spoke with the service manager. I was advised that the part was delivered broken. He advised me that I needed to understand that they were too busy to return my phone calls (even though I only called once every 1-2 weeks). I was also told that they didn’t have anything to tell me about anyway so it was not worth returning my call. He then said that if I really wanted it, they had found another part in a different state. That the part was very far away but they could probably have it packed in a box with extra packing. He asked that I give him one hour and he would call me back. He did not call me back. 4 days later, the repairs on my car were completed. This was an incredibly frustrating process. Not because it took 8 weeks. I work in a profession that has been greatly impacted by supply chain issues. I understand that many products are unavailable. I do not expect magic. I do expect decent service and respect. Returning a phone call is basic customer service. I will have to think long and hard before using Bayird service department again. More
Had to wait 3 hours for oil change. Should not have been that long of a wait with no explanation. I know help is hard to get right now, but other options should have been available. Brand new Jeep Rubicon JL, 1st oil change and service. After getting back to my office, checked my oil and it was exactly 1 inch over the full mark. Took it back and 3 techs could not figure out why it w After getting back to my office, checked my oil and it was exactly 1 inch over the full mark. Took it back and 3 techs could not figure out why it was over full. 1 tech jumped in my Jeep and pulled up on to the lift and lifted it up and then every one disappeared from the shop for 40 minutes. It took right at an hour to get this corrected. I also watched 2 techs get in my Jeep and with out using a seat cover and yes they were dirty and oily. Not 1 time did anybody apologize or even act concerned over this whole deal. I would not recommend using this service dept! More
Jeep came in on a wrecker, with unknown problem. Bayird tech diagnosed the problem immediately. They had the part in stock & it was replaced in 45 minutes. We were gone in less than 3 hours.
