They really went out of their way to secure the exact car I wanted, which was at another dealership. Then, to top it off, the manager (Jeff), who resides near the other dealership, actually drove the car I wanted, which was at another dealership. Then, to top it off, the manager (Jeff), who resides near the other dealership, actually drove the car to his dealership so I could have it ASAP. Car was detailed to perfection and everything concerning its operation was fully covered by Diana in the way she patiently explained things to me, never rushing and making sure I had no other questions. Since I had already purchased VW Monster Mats 'on line' while waiting for delivery, Dave and Jeff were kind enough to see that I was refunded what I paid for them since the car I was getting already had them. Received a 'follow up' call from Diana to make sure everything was going well with the car and I must commend her and the others for truly showing they care deeply about satisfying their customer. I went to Bay Ridge VW to purchase a 2012 Passat SEL Premium. Overall it was a good experience, the only thing I didn't care about was I had to wait to get my car once I purchased it. They didn't have the car prepped before I got there and we spent over an hour waiting for it. Otherwise, it went pretty well. The negotiation for the price was easy since I got other prices and they beat all the other competitors prices + my trade in. Once we agreed to the price they had to locate the car which only took a few days and in 1 week I was driving my car home. The employees at Bay Ridge VW are very nice and they definitely all tried to assist 1 way or another. In all the vehicles I owned, the finance manager at VW was the only one that was truly honest with us and he didn't try and sell us unwanted stuff (e.g. undercarriage spray, expensive extended warranty etc). He showed us exactly what we would pay and even tried to get us a better rate. This is my first VW, so I am curious to see how the service department is, but I have owned Volvo's and they are the same owners in Brooklyn, so I know the experience should be great. Once again, I was very happy with the service and professionalism with the staff at Bay Ridge and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a VW. More
The minute I stepped foot into the dealership all the employees acted nothing but professional and respectful. Personally I dread having to go get a new lease, but one of the employees named Arthur made employees acted nothing but professional and respectful. We were able to negotiate a reasonable price and regardless of my attempts to make him knock off a little bit off the total, he had nothing but a smile on his through out the entire process. I had a great time buying a volkswagen from Arthur he was very helpful and friendly . I came in and told him if i get a great deal i will sighn and it happend . Came to this dealership and the sales rep as a referral. Was very serious about purchasing a 2012 GTI. contacted the sales rep several times. The sales rep also had very vague knowledge of the brand. I wanted the sunroof nav package that came with certain lights, and he argued that the package i wanted didnt include those lights. i had to show him the brochure to shut him up. and all he could reply was oh man i didnt know! how can you not know? you're selling this brand!! unbelievable!!! anyway, after several calls, He promised he'd get back to me with a quote.... 3 days passed and nothing. I called again, he said he'd call me monday. Monday rolls around.. nothing.. i call him back and he forgets the specs i ask about and still doesnt have a quote for me. Says to call him back the following morning. I call him back in the morning and dealership says he's not even at work!!! what kind of customer service is this? did he not want to make money??? needless to say i went elsewhere and made my purchase. They are inconsiderate, have zero knowledge of their own brand and are lazy! worst experience ever! More

I went here to lease a new Jetta; I came into this dealership with a quote I received from a leasing company and asked if they can do any better, the said they could match my quote and at that point i dealership with a quote I received from a leasing company and asked if they can do any better, the said they could match my quote and at that point it sounded good to me as I would rather work with an actual dealership than a leasing company (which is technically a broker). At the beginning of the convo I told them I got a quote for 180 a month ( which they said they could beat), I told them I would want to test drive the car before moving forward, since I have never drove any Volkswagen in my life – they initially agreed. The convo quickly turned into “we can do 189 a month” and the manager started refusing the test drive saying “you are going to test drive the car and get is somewhere else” I told him the quote I got was for 180 not 189, he said “well I heard 189; I don’t want to play these games”. The manager of this facility was giving my spouse and I tons of attitude and we left. I leased a Jetta from a dealer right next to my apt in Queens with non of this typical salesman garbage, got a test drive THEN talked about price and did the paperwork. Stay away from this dealer More
