This was my first time purchasing a certified pre owned car. The employees I worked with were very helpful, they explained all available options in detail and worked very hard to give me the best possible car. They took care of everything, making the process simple and easy. I got exactly what I was looking for and drove away with a steal. Although the used car section could use a slight facelift to make it more customer friendly, I would still definitely recommend Bayridge Honda. More
From the day my husband and I went to Bay Ridge Honda on Mar. 23,2013 and were greeted by George Gambino we were immediately made to feel welcome and comfortable. We were introduced to sales consultant Andy Feldman who would help us find a car. Andy was friendly, professional and knowledgable about the cars and their features and also explained to us about the process of financing if we choose to go that route. We never felt pressured or made to feel inadequate. When we choose our car Andy promptly prepared the necessary paper work and set up an appointment with Joseph Calixtus to discuss extended warrenties and extras. When we met with Joseph he also was friendly, professional and was able to explain the extended warrenty and answer all our questions expertly. The car was promised to us for March 27, 2013 , 5 days after we walked in and it was ready and waiting on that day. We had lost 3 autos in storm sandy and buying a new car was a new experience for us. Bay Ridge honda and in particular the men we mainly worked with made the experience effortless. More

Imagine an inexperienced under aged 25 first time car buyer (who needed to buy a car within 72 hours) with a high anxiety mother, her thrifty friend, and a crazy father (who was opposed to buying a car) buyer (who needed to buy a car within 72 hours) with a high anxiety mother, her thrifty friend, and a crazy father (who was opposed to buying a car) walking into a dealership and you have a tough client for any dealer. Moreover, Mark Anthony handled the situation, mine, very well and was patient and honest, while still trying to be professional and make business. I walked into Bay Ridge Honda after visiting a few other dealers and was apprehensive about the whole thing, but Mark Anthony was very much clear cut with everything and was considerate of my needs. All I really needed was an economical car that I could drive off in within the next few days to use for school and work, and Mark Anthony found the right car for me and didn't try to pressure a higher sale. Of all the dealers I saw that day from various car manufacturers, Mark Anthony was by far the easiest to deal with and was the most knowledgeable, understanding, and down the earth dealer. I would definitely recommend Mark Anthony at Bay Ridge Honda for any new car buyer. Thanks! More
I purchased a 2006 Honda Ex-L at 18,000 miles 6 mths ago from this dealership. I thought I was getting a great low milage car, my first experience with a honda vehicle. Paperwork said it went through the full inspection and had no problems. In November my chk engine light came on turned out I was leaking transmission fluid because of a hose that needed to be replaced. This week my check engine light came on again (the car was serviced 2 mths ago). I called Bay Ridge Honda about having it checked and was told that I have to pay another $105 just to have it evaluated. I am not sure what else could go wrong with the car and I don't have time to waste running around to mechanics so getting rid of this car. Won't use this dealership again. More

I got my new 2013 Honda Odyssey Here. Great van. Great sales presentation. Everything went smooth and pleasant till picking up my car. I made the deposit on a Saturday. And scheduled to pickup the van th sales presentation. Everything went smooth and pleasant till picking up my car. I made the deposit on a Saturday. And scheduled to pickup the van the coming Monday around 4 PM. Who could imagine I finally drive the new van out of the dealer's door after 8 O'clock something PM. more than 4 hours of waiting. Come on. even I did add on the Lowjack, which every dealer would push to sell.. But 4 hours of processing time is just unacceptable. especially for a scheduled pickup appointment. That just did not end there. A few days later. I realized my new van does not has a roof rail which I clearly remember the sales said my model has it when i was making the purchase. When I signed off the van to leave the dealer's door, I did not pay too much attention to it due 4 hours of tiresome waiting. So I called the sales up to find out what happen, He said he never say that my model has roof rail. and pointed out to me my van model's package list does not have roof rail listed. On that day, right before I made the deposit. I did double checked with him and asked, "does my model has a roof rail". This is his exact word " yes. but not the cross bar". Not only me heard that, My wife sat next to me heard the same thing. It was asked right before making the deposit. so there is no reason for him to mix up with other model. Anyway I understand sometime people makes mistake. At the time, he made the answer "yes. but not the cross bar", maybe he had something else in his mind. Anyway for a simple mistake, All it takes is just a simple apology , like "Sorry i made a mistake. " But Instead he is denying it. And told me that if I want the roof rail. I can go to the next door service department and pay for it and get it install. So now, it sounds like my wife and me made this thing up to try to get free stuff. I asked to speak to a supervisor. and i was told I will be contacted by a supervisor soon. Two business days past, still not hear a ring. And I dont want to call back to get more unpleasant talk. Hope time will fade this unpleasant experiences away soon. At least, I still got a great van, even without the roof top rail. More

Deciding to buy a new car is sometimes overwhelming, at least that has been my experience. I came into Honda prepared to do battle and quite honestly was not the ideal customer any salesperson would want least that has been my experience. However, a truly professional sales consultant, Mark Anthony Esmade, made all the difference. Mark worked tirelessly and patiently with me to help me make a tough decision and put up with my grumbling right through the sale and the pick up of my new Honda. Now that I have my car I realize that it was my past buying experiences that triggered my apprehension and truthfully it was not as painful as I had anticipated. I sincerely appreciate all of Mark's effort and his understanding of my situation. I would recommend him to anyone and hopefully he will have an easier time with the next customer. In addition I would like to thank Dwayne Markland for all the info and for his professionalism and understanding in dealing with a truly grumpy "old man".
