I went to the dealership with a good deal of apprehension as what experience my wife and I would come away with. I was prepared to be assaulted by aggressive sales maneuvers and other machinations, but walk as what experience my wife and I would come away with. I was prepared to be assaulted by aggressive sales maneuvers and other machinations, but walked away with an absolutely pleasurable experience ably assisted by a personable and genuinely interested salesman, Mark Anthony Esmade. Mark went the extra mile and answered patiently, respectfully the multiple questions my wife and I posed. Both of us felt that he was a man we could trust and have come away with an impression that salesmanship does not necessarily have to bear the bad name it usually carries. Mark has proven otherwise. Good on him! He represents the best this field has to offer. Not only will we be prepared to wholeheartedly recommend his services but look forward to doing business, all things remaining equal, with Mark & Bay Ridge Honda again. More

I received a phone call from Bay Ridge Honda stating that they needed 2011 cars for their used car dept and wanted my 2011 Accord,leased. They were told that the lease had another 11 months on it. The party on the phone was very firm that they need cars. He also said they would reduce my payments on a new Honda. So far so good. An appointment was set up for 3:15 the next afternoon. The salesman I was to see was not there. I was given three different reasons why he was not there. This took place over 45 min. On my last request as to the whereabouts of the salesman I had the appointment with someone, I don't know his name, asked " what do you want? As if I was a child tugging on his pants. At this point I explained I was there at the request of Honda. I was given a salesman who explained it was too soon to come in as the lease had 11 months to go. What he offered me was ,please follow carefully, For a 2013 give them the tax plus fees for about $ 2600.00 and raise my payments from $376 a month to $449.00 a month. I was made a fool off , treated with disrespect and wasted over one hour of my time. They get you in on the sale and down hill from there. To be fair the salesman I was to see did call and say he was sorry but no one had told him I was coming in. I never thought I'll ever write this about any dealership. I guess its more like who are you dealing with at a dealer. I was shopping for a new car as my existing lease was going to be up in a cou dealership. I guess its more like who are you dealing with at a dealer. I had an appointment with another sales person but my good luck he was busy or away and i was introduced to Andy Feldman. Andy is a very knowledgeable and very honest man. People like Andy are really hard to find at a dealership. He asked me all the right questions and also answered all of mine. When ever he wasn't sure of anything he didn't just make things up he excused him self and got the information for me on those things. He made my car leasing experience very easy and smooth. There were no gimmicks or surprises. I got what we talked about and what i was promised. Car was delivered on time. My lease return was handled professionally as well. I'll definitely recommend Andy to any one who is looking to get into a new vehicle. Good Luck Andy and keep it up! More
The last time I owned a car, a cassette player was a premium feature. I have relied on car services and public transportation. But now I needed a car. I narrowed down the type of car I wanted but the finances were confusing what with all the fees and taxes and then getting the title, the plates, insurance. And the new features were dizzying. I had put it off as long as I could, convincing myself that it was not meant to be for me to have a car. Then I walked into Bay Ridge Honda. From the moment I meant Mark Anthony Esmade, he put me at ease. He took time to explain every facet of what was going on. He listened to my concerns about a car, and what my budget was. After my test drive, we sat down and worked out a structure that would work for me. I had never leased a car before and he explained every cost that was involved. He reassured me that he would structure a contract that was comfortable for me and acceptable to the bank. He arranged for insurance, plates, and everything else you need. I would have gone crazy if I had to do it all myself. That same day I drove out of the dealership in my 2013 Honda Civic. In one word Mark Anthony Esmade is a professional in the best sense of the word. I felt I could trust him and I could believe him. I would recommend Mark Anthony Esmade and Bay Ridge Honda to anyone who needs a car. More

I went to Bay Ridge Honda never before having bought a vehicle. I felt intimidated pulling up, not sure about how to go about the process of selecting a used vehicle, versus a leased vehicle, etc. In fact vehicle. I felt intimidated pulling up, not sure about how to go about the process of selecting a used vehicle, versus a leased vehicle, etc. In fact, I know very little about vehicles and car buying entirely. However, when Jaime Fernandez greeted me and began working with me to assist me in the process, I immediately felt at ease. Jaime was kind, patient, and inquired with depth into what exactly it was that I needed, was looking for, and took my budget seriously into consideration. I never felt manipulated, pressured, and both intuitively and practically felt myself to be in good hands throughout the car purchasing process. What I appreciated most is that Jaime was genuinely honest with me regarding all aspects of purchasing the car. He also clearly relayed my options and took the time to show me how all of my decisions would effect me in the future, regarding maintenance, payments, warranties, etc. Jaime was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to come in the next day to meet me to finish up my paperwork because I was unable to do it the prior day and desperately needed to purchase the car within 24 hours. He went above an beyond in handling my contract and process and I was extremely grateful. It was so nice to be taken care of in a situation that I thought would be so much more difficult. While we expect all of these qualities and this kind of interaction to be offered when buying a car a dealer, it is just true that it is usually the exception not the rule. I was most nervous because several friends had warned me about being a woman and going to try to purchase a car alone. However, my friends and family were also very impressed and happy with the outcome of the vehicle I ended up leasing, and from their experience, validated that it sounded like I had good one. As well, the dealer environment and staff as a whole was friendly, easygoing, and helpful. I was 5-months pregnant at the time of the purchase and had my 5-year old in tow as well. They completely accommodated me and my son. I drove away smiling - and isn't that what's it's all about. I'd highly recommend Bay Ridge Honda - and Jaime Fernandez - both as a car dealer, and as a great customer service experience. Good Luck! More
I was very apprehensive about buying any car but decided it was time b/c I definitely needed an upgrade from my 1996 Saturn which was still in good condition but was getting a little "too" old. I met with Greg Keeler b/c he'd been recommended by a friend as being honest. I had intentions of buying a used car but after we talked about how much money I was willing to spend, what type of driver I am and why I was thinking of buying, etc, Greg suggested we talk about my leasing a new car vs. buying a used one. And that's the key - he "suggested" we talk about it - he never once pressured me to do anything. And, whether he was explaining how leasing worked, or what my options were, he was patient, kind and light hearted through the entire process. I was very nervous and asked a lot of questions, so I really appreciated his overall attitude. I never felt pressured to do anything and when I needed a minute to think, he let me. He was right there with me through the entire process - but in a very positive way.. I walked out of Honda that day leasing a 2013 Civic and feeling very happy about the entire experience AND I never once had "buyer's remorse" - I just knew I'd made the right decisions and truly feel it was because Greg guided me toward what was the next right step for me. In short, it was an excellent experience - mainly because of Mr. Keeler's expertise. If you go to Bay Ridge Honda, ask to see Greg Keeler. I almost forgot this - 1 week after I picked up the car, I installed a bumper guard to the front license plate myself. It never felt like it was on right - I felt I'd done something wrong and was afraid that it was going to fall off. Sure enough, 2 weeks later, it did. Luckily, someone placed the plate and the guard on my hood and, also luckily, I was 2 blocks away from Bay Ridge Honda. I went straight there, walked in with plate/bumper in hand and ran into Greg. The mechanics had gone home but Greg said not to worry. I waited in my car and after a few minutes he came out with a large cardboard piece, a drill and screws. He litereally got down on the ground, in his suit, and reattached the plate and bumper guard so it's never going to move. I couldn't believe he did that! I'm sure you would agree that that was WAY beyond the call of duty. More
At 11:00 am on a busy Saturday, we walked into Bay Ridge Honda with one objective in mind: to leave the Dealership with a brand new vehicle. Three hours later (including lunch) on this first ever visit, we drove off with a shiny 2013 Honda Pilot EX 4WD. No problems. No hiccups. It was a very smooth process. We were extremely satisfied because what was promised got delivered, in time and exactly the way it should be. What was the promise, you ask: "that a vehicle can and will be prepped for us by 3:00 pm". True to word, a sign of a Dealership with integrity. To many people, this alone can seal the deal.
