I visited Bay Ridge after being turned off by the dishonest Paragon Honda in Queens. I was looking to have my lease on an '07 Civic bought out and to purchase an '09 Element LX 4WD. -- Bay Ridge Honda quoted me a competitive, fair price with options over the phone within half an hour of my call. -- Bay Ridge Honda was up front about the lease buy-off part of my deal, and put figures on the order sheet that were clear and understandable. -- Bay Ridge Honda gave me a price of $23,705 including installation of $2,000 in options. This is only $1,000 over the MSRP of $22,785 for the 4WD Element EX without options. -- I had also been to Bay Ridge's service department, and found them to be pretty good. Some of the reviewers on here are a little too picky if you ask me. More

I commuted 2 hours and then waited 2 hours because they did not have enough help! After finally meeting up with somebody and them going back and forth between different people, they told me they could not help me and to come back in a month. What kind of a xxxxxxxx is that. Would never go back. One guy had the nerve to tell me he was giving me his professional advice. Funniest xxxxxxxx i ever listened too. More
Worst worst Honda dealer place. Especialy who first buy the car with this place. Look at every detail you sign. you may sign somthing you don't need to pay but you paying it. when you find out is too late. the car with this place. Look at every detail you sign. you may sign somthing you don't need to pay but you paying it. when you find out is too late. Their financing procedure is very hassle you have to watch up. you may pay more than at lease $5,000 more than other finance charge. Because they said they try to save money, actually you pay more. They will try every possible way to sell extra stuff that most customer probably don't need. Their financing department is worst ever to deal with. Either you take the deal or out type of deal. Sales representatives are usually nice but they don't really have decision right so they travel back and force between customer and sales manager. That's another turn off. I bought the car but I probably would not go back there to buy another car. My case was when I find out I pay something I don't need and go back to ask them what is the price for something by the time purhasing the car they don't explain. He said " I assumed you know and understand it". And you sign the papper already. So, who really want to buy the car with this dealer, you have to read carefully each paper you sign. Because they would give you so many paper you have to sign it. Stay away with this dealer if you can. More
Beware Honda Bay Ridge. They are a den of Beware Honda Bay Ridge. They are a den of thieves...liars. My wife and I were lied to by Craig Bono, finance department. We were told that a package Beware Honda Bay Ridge. They are a den of thieves...liars. My wife and I were lied to by Craig Bono, finance department. We were told that a package deal for an alarm system would cost us nothing. But later we discovered, after leaving dealership, that the cost was several thousand dollars. He removed the prices from the literature describing the items and told us that by accepting the package, it would lower our monthly installments. Pure lie. They installed a lojack system for $2495.00 and never told us, glass etching(Xzilon) 995.00, secure etch Theft Protection $1295.00, Road Hazard Protection $1995.00. Do not go this dealership. They will sneak in extra items, such as those mentioned above the cost of vehicle, by lying. Also, he, Craig Bono, will try to have you sign documents, cleverly holding the document with his hand, and not allowing you to look at document because he is standing over you as you are trying to look at it. Stay away from this dealership. I reponded to an internet special. I came and the first thing they asked me for was a deposit. The up front fees they quoted me on the phone had somehow changed/increased wh special. I came and the first thing they asked me for was a deposit. The up front fees they quoted me on the phone had somehow changed/increased when I arrived in person. They tried everything to not give me the internet rate. You really need to read the fine print. Also they did not have the car available & told me I would need to wait(?) not sure how long; also limited color selection. Extremely poor customer service, once they get your deposit they try to do a bait and switch. Overall bad experience, sales people never call you back and dont really care except their commission. The general attitude is they are very nice and phony until they get your deposit then they really dont give a crap about returning any calls or keeping you informed as to when you will get your car. Again stay away from this dealer ship. I should have read the reviews before going in. More
So much to mention in this little box. I went to Bay Ridge Honda last week to buy a Honda Civic and the salesman Anthony Russo was a brash, loud little guy who was only interested in making a sale. He Ridge Honda last week to buy a Honda Civic and the salesman Anthony Russo was a brash, loud little guy who was only interested in making a sale. He said I'd need to buy the car before any deal he could make would expire on Monday (the last day of the month). I never did get any deal at all. When he showed me the car he super quickly mentioned what all the buttons and things did on the dash board. He was a horrible salesman and I would suggest not going to him again. He practically pulled the paper work out of my hand when I didn't do it fast enough for his liking. If I dind't like the car so much I would have left..and bought nothing. I can't describe how awful an expierence it was dealing with him. Just horrible. More
My boyfriend and I went to purchase a car from Bayridge Honda. I was the one who would be purchasing the car, but my salesperson was only making eye contact and speaking with my boyfriend, completely ignor Honda. I was the one who would be purchasing the car, but my salesperson was only making eye contact and speaking with my boyfriend, completely ignoring me. After this went on for several minutes, I asked him to please include me in the conversation. Once we negotiated our lease deal, we filled out a "purchase order" and left a $500 deposit. We were assured it would be a matter of days before our car was ready. We never heard from them and had to make several calls inquiring about the status. Finally after 30 days, we were told "sorry, couldn't find a car for you". Getting my deposit back was a whole other story. I played phone tag with sales managers, was hung up and am going through my bank to get the refund. DO NOT deal with them. On a more pleasant note, Honda of New Rochelle was happy to help us out. They located a car in two days, took care of all our paperwork and communicated every step of the way. Our salesman, DJ, was VERY nice and deserves your business much more than Bay Ridge. More
If you want to spend 3-4 times more than what you anticipated, then make an appointment to have your car serviced here. Apparently, replacing an air filter is more dire than say, working on "low bra anticipated, then make an appointment to have your car serviced here. Apparently, replacing an air filter is more dire than say, working on "low brakes" as Mr. Wan put it. My experiences in the past with Honda dealerships have been better, with the dealership in Pennsylvania (Conicelli Honda) being the best. That was where I purchased my car. Their goal wasn't to xxxx me of every last cent I had. The service was appropriate and timely. My experiences here in NY (Bronx and Brooklyn) have convinced me that I will no longer bring my car to a Honda dealership. I shouldn't have to bring a man with me in order to not get taken advantage of. Enjoy the $350 dollars you made for Honda, Mr. Wan. It's the one and only time you'll be making any money off of me. By all means stay away from this dealership. Their favorite scam is to ask for your drivers lic and credit card before you even discuss price. Why do you need my credit card? I would like to be anonymous at this point. There are too many things for me to say about bay ridge honda. The first thing is i waited for over 2 hours just to speak with a financial department the first many things for me to say about bay ridge honda. The first thing is i waited for over 2 hours just to speak with a financial department the first day i went there. My sales guy told me everything that there is just for me to sign the paper gave me the best deal out there told me that they have the car in stock(which they didn't). After i agreed for this deal my credit application did not go through, they asked for a co-signer. I got them a co-signer with a 720 credit score which still didn't get approved. They are liars, they have no respect for their customer. The sales team curses right in-front of you, smoke in-front of you dirty dirty sales team they are. I honestly do not know how they got the "presidential award". At the end of my conversation with the finance department they told me that they cannot give me the car b.c. they were not making enough money on this deal....flat out exactly!!!!! They are the worst dealership...do not care about customer once again. More
