I had purchased a vehicle here 3 years ago and was satisfied with the price and most of the sales service at Bay Ridge Honda. The sales management helped me through the process then, and when I went back this time, the salesman no longer worked there (surprise,surprise!). Instead, I dealt with Al Hartley. Al was a gentleman in every sense of the word. He was extremely helpful and understanding, while at the same time, not being pushy in the least bit. He addressed every issue I had with the certified pre-owned Pilot I was looking at, and in the end, it looked like a brand new vehicle when I left the dealership. Al understood the market for the vehicle in the immediate area and did everything he could to make sure that his price was very competitive. I live on the south shore of Staten Island and did nothing but waste my time when I visited Staten Island Honda. If you're in the market for a pre-owned Honda vehicle, go see Al Hartley in Bay Ridge. I found their employees to be uninformative of their product, extremely pushy - to a point where it was annoying, and an arrogant attitude as if they were doing you a favor. However, we were still interested in the Honda Accord Coup so we decided to go to Brooklyn, Bay Ridge Honda. Our sales consultant was Andy Feldman. Andy was not only well informed on the product but as a parent he re-assured me of the safety and reasonable up-keep of the vehicle. He understood our financial obligation limits and definitely came through with what my son could afford. The complete process took only two days and even after the sale was completed he took the time to explain to my son (actually made him sit in the car and showed him) how the features worked in the car (many were new to him). This was surprising. From past experience with purchasing / leasing a car for my daughter once the sale is signed-off, that is the last contact you have with the sales consultant. My son and I are extremely pleased and grateful for Andy’s patience and assistance in the purchase of our New Honda Accord Coup. By the way, my son loves the car. More
