Good experience! I live in small town in north central Kansas. I have wanted a VW beetle for a long time. I searched the internet and found one I wanted at Baxter. I texted them and they got back with me same day. I made an appointment to see the car on Aug 21st. I had to put down a five hundred dollar deposit which I am glad I did because we couldn't get there for 6 days. They held the car and were waiting on us when we got there. I really liked the car but had a few dents and scratches that needed to be fixed. They took it to body shop on Monday , fixed it and delivered it to me in Kansas on Thursday. It was a very smooth and easy process......Big thanks to Kendra and Clayton. More

Snakes Alive! Went in to buy used vehicle. Sales person ok but finance guy and female sales manager very very pushy. We agreed on term and price and I signed a bunc Went in to buy used vehicle. They handed me envelope when I left with my car but when I got home only one document was in it. Then they called me a day later and wanted to change terms of sale. I've had to retain attorney! I had my 2014 Jetta in to get a tire put on and while I was waiting I started a conversation with Sam about my current lease and if I could turn it early and an hour or two later I was in a 2018 Jetta TSI ! With no money down ! They made It so easy for me! So I came in to get a new tire and ended up leaving with four! I also want to give a heads thumbs up to the service department. Duane especially, he has always over delivered ! Him and his teammates are great to deal with. I should know , I have been a customer since 2009! More

The sales process was very smooth from the very beginning with absolutely no pressure at all to make a decision I was uncomfortable with financially. The team at Baxter La Vista was willing to work with me (and I had difficult criteria to meet) when no one else was. I have owned 2 other VW's from 2 different dealerships but going forward I won't look past Baxter La Vista! More

The day before we received an email reminder about the appointment and in it Jeff said “I just wanted to make sure you were going to be able to make it, as I have set some time aside to make sure that your buying experience is Fast, Fun and Friendly” We showed up at 1:25 and Jeff was not available and there was no Atlas wait for us to view, which was upsetting because in his email he made it sound like we better be there because we where taking up his time. It took about 20-30 mins for us to get a sales person and an Atlas for us to test drive. The car was freezing cold and none of the snow was dusted off. We set up the appointment because we both took the day off and had scheduled to view 4 different SUVs that day. All of the other dealerships had their sales person waiting for us with the SUV up front and warm ready to go. Brandon did the test drive and he as great and we told him that we where interested in the R-line option. We got back to the dealership and started to negotiate a fair price. Then came the sales manager Philip, honestly I do not know how this guy still has a job. He was arrogant, he belittled us and made us feel like he didn’t care if he sold us a car or not. At this time Philip did locate us a car with the R-line option. We left with no deal made. I felt I had to email Jeff that night because the whole experience was so terrible. He replied and said he would get back to me in the morning and we. The next day on Saturday he called me gave me a price, I countered, he called back an hour later and I gave him one finale price and we would take it at 10:00 am. We never heard back from him. A week goes by and on Friday Jan 5th around 8:00pm I get an email from Jeff about “keeping in touch” I told him that he never called me back from our last call. Again he said he would get back to me the next morning with some numbers. The next day, Saturday the 6th I get a call from Philip that morning and he told me Jeff too the day off and gave me a figure. I countered, never heard back from him for the rest of the day. I finally called him late that after noon. We came to an agreement and all of a sudden the R-line option was not included in that price. Since the first day we where in the dealership they knew we wanted the R-line option and that is what we have been negotiating for all week. After about 10 mins of arguing with me over the phone about how we never wanted that option, I finally asked for another sales manager. I explained to him the whole situation and he told me that he would “absolutely not honor that price” It felt like a bait and switch. Honestly I do not now how this location says in business. Their sales team are rude, arrogant and they don’t communicate with each other. They had the SUV sold twice to me, first time at a higher price but they screwed up so bad that they ended up not selling anything to me. More
