Purchased a 2022 Highlander Hybrid Platinum at Baxter Toyota in Lavista, NE. We had tried to get a 2021 (an action we started in May of 2021) but they were not available in the color or with the feature Toyota in Lavista, NE. We had tried to get a 2021 (an action we started in May of 2021) but they were not available in the color or with the features we wanted at Lavista. Other dealerships that had one in stock were charging a "market adjustment fee" on top of the sticker price. Due to the chip shortage and lack of available product we decided to wait until the 2022's came out. The initial delivery projection was estimated to be as late as March 2022 depending on the chip availability. We were pleased when the 2022 arrived in December 2021. We traded our 2021 Tundra in on it. Due to the market conditions at the time we felt that we did not get the best deal on the trade in but it was a sacrifice we made in order to get the Highlander. While the sticker price had increased from the 2021's (expected) Lavista did not tack on a "market adjustment fee". This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Baxter Toyota in Lavista, NE. with the transaction facilitated by Bob S. Bob S. was helpful, informative, and patient with the many questions we asked during the process. We feel we were treated decently considering the overall circumstances. Would recommend this dealership and Bob S. to friends and family. More
