My go-to Toyota dealership for service even tho it’s an hour from home and a closer dealer. I’ve owned three Tacomas and because of these guys I’ll buy a fourth once my current truck hits 250K. 5000 mile service inspection We took our 2016 Highlander to Baxter Toyota in April for the oil change and service at the 5000 mile check. The battery terminal inspection box was We took our 2016 Highlander to Baxter Toyota in April for the oil change and service at the 5000 mile check. The battery terminal inspection box was green showing the inspection was complete with no issues. October 15th the vehicle would not start. Upon looking at the battery we discovered the positive post had fully corroded and the battery clamp cable came apart when trying to loosen it. After having it towed to Baxter Toyota they called with an update of the work needed to be done. We requested to speak with someone when we picked up our vehicle because we could not understand how that much corrosion could happen since April when they had given a green on the inspection. They agreed someone would be available. No one could give us an explanation aside from the possibility of high humidity for the corrosion to occur in that short time period. We are still not convinced they inspected the terminals last April. My only proof is high corrosion to failure. More

Broke license plate holder I will not ever step into this dealership again. Last year the service dept put a nice scratch in my drivers side back door - this was before they st I will not ever step into this dealership again. Last year the service dept put a nice scratch in my drivers side back door - this was before they started taking pictures when you check in for service - makes you wonder if others got scratches and were given the run around? This last time I specifically pointed out my license plate holder is always bent when it comes out of service and “would they please either clamp it down or remove it”. Guess what .. my special (to me anyway) Breast Cancer holder was broken - the bottom piece sticking out - SERIOUSLY - how was that missed?? I would not trust them with my car - a very simple procedure that was not done. In hindsight - I should have just taken it off myself. Lesson Learned. More
