Every single person I have dealt with at Baxter has been simply perfect! From my first meeting with Nathan Hulme the easiest going, professional and smartest sales person I have ever met. To the super energ simply perfect! From my first meeting with Nathan Hulme the easiest going, professional and smartest sales person I have ever met. To the super energetic and whimsical, Do It All, "no problem" Carmen Jensen! To a very efficient and helpful with every concern I have had since my purchase, ie. oil change to broken antenna. Your staff at Baxter has been second to none in the industry of auto sales and service, that I have ever met. I actually look forward to coming to the dealership for services. Rather than look for other places to touch my baby. aka my 2011 Ford Fusion. You guys are simply the BEST!!!! Keep up the good work, like I know you will! More
Purchased a used 2002 Ford pickup from Baxter. Sales rep assured me that this vehicle, while it had some dings, was in great mechanical shape. Look at records showed recent work replacing part of the front assured me that this vehicle, while it had some dings, was in great mechanical shape. Look at records showed recent work replacing part of the front end and sales rep told me they had replaced the #7 injector recently. Truck did turn over slowly and rep told me they would replace the batteries and that should fix any issues. I asked him if he would feel safe driving the truck to either coast and was assured that the truck was mechanically sound. Being used to working with other dealers who have some idea of what honesty is about I went ahead with the purchase. Truck left Omaha for the west coast the next morning. It made it to just past Sioux Falls where it overheated and had to be pulled back in to a local dealer there. They did a fan repair and put in a new starter - the batteries weren't the problem. The Sioux Falls dealer also mentioned that the battery cables weren't even tightened down. After 2 days in Sioux Falls the pickup was on the road again. It had problems in Rapid City but made it as far as Missoula where it overheated badly and had to be taken in to a local dealer. After checking the pickup out they found that it had a cracked head and water was present in the crankcase. Their mechanic expressed an opinion that one of two things happened; (1) Baxter was incompetent for failing to check the #7 cylinder when the injector was replaced, and misdiagnosed the starter issue to boot, or (2) they recognized the cracked head problem and were trying to dump this lemon off on the first unsuspecting buyer. The truck was traded to a local mechanic who could repair the engine for a 55% loss after 3 days. Several calls to Baxter managers about reconciling the problem went unanswered. I was planning to buy a new heavier-duty pickup in the next several months to replace or supplement my 2006 pickup and did learn never to trust Baxter with anything - based on my experience I would believe the Montana mechanics assessment that they are either crooked or incompetent (or both). This has soured me on Ford products as well since we did speak to a Ford customer service rep but never heard back. More
We had a good experience in test driving and dealing with the first salesman, Jason. But be prepared to spend a lot of time there. We were kept waiting for a very long time to see the finance manager. Even the first salesman, Jason. But be prepared to spend a lot of time there. We were kept waiting for a very long time to see the finance manager. Even though we had to decided to go with another bank, we were required to meet him. He was nice, was magically able to undercut our bank by .01% so we went with their bank. Then, when it came time to sign the actual contract, he had switched to a higher percentage and longer loan term without telling us!! So watch out for that. He tried to tell us it was okay because our payment would be about the same. But obviously that means we are paying more for the car in the long run! He did fix it, but we felt like that whole aspect was shady! When we declined an extra warranty, he brought in his boss who had a "coupon" for us, and his boss was EXTREMELY pushy. Overall the boss was the only person we dealt with that we genuinely disliked. He used some sales tactic where he wouldn't hardly let me talk to my husband! I kept trying to talk about the cons of the plan to my husband so we could think through it, and he would always interject about why my point wasn't valid before my husband could say anything. In retrospect I should have asked them to leave so we could talk privately. (Actually I wish I had done that at several points along the way because otherwise they will never leave you alone to discuss things.) We ended up buying it and then felt terrible about it. They made the sale, but these two things together made us decide that we would not buy future cars from this dealership. Oh and another thing when we got out to the lot to take the car home, they had ONE key for us, no keyless entry remote even though the internet listing had stated there was keyless entry. We are still working to try to get them to install one, so we'll see. Make sure you SEE all the keys beforehand. More

My husband and I had a great experience. Our Salesman was Clint Paulson and he was very personable and helpful. He was not pushy and answered all our questions. My husband and I bought 2 vehicles at the same Clint Paulson and he was very personable and helpful. He was not pushy and answered all our questions. My husband and I bought 2 vehicles at the same time and the negotiations process was pleasant.(didnt know that was possible)Carmen Jensen took very good care of us and made sure we were completely satisfied with the conditions of our vehicles before we left the lot. We highly recommend Baxter Ford and every single person we dealt with was genuinely friendly. Best experience we have had in regards to buying a vehicle. More
Ambrose Lurks “made the deal” happen. Ambrose embodies what other car salesman should be, which is to not to be overly pushy or arrogant but rather help make the deal for the customer that suits them best what other car salesman should be, which is to not to be overly pushy or arrogant but rather help make the deal for the customer that suits them best. He was quite funny, humble, knowledgeable, friendly and unique to say the least. My family has worked with him on several occasions and will retain our business in the future. Two months ago when my father purchased a ford escape Ambrose was in the running to win a 55’ flat screen. When I bought my ford escape last week I inquired and discovered he had not, I feel he is more than deserving to be considered and honored one for the time and hard work he put in just for my father and I alone. The other employee who my father and I worked with was the finance manager, Nemat Azizi. Nemat was wonderful to work with, made the process easy and took care of what needed to be done in a timely manner. My dad and I car shop on average more than typical buyer and all I can say is when you meet the right salesman you just know you’re going to be driving home in “new car smell”. Thank you Ambrose and Nemat for your hard work and friendliness. Jenny Bartholomew More

I recently visited Baxter Ford to purchase a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country. (I had previously done my shopping from their website, which allowed me to really narrow down what I wanted prior to visi Chrysler Town and Country. (I had previously done my shopping from their website, which allowed me to really narrow down what I wanted prior to visiting their lot). I was expecting your typical 'car salesman pitch' and pressured atmosphere that car dealerships are known for. I was pleasantly surprised to work with a salesman (Justin M) who was laid back, and allowed me to decide what "I" wanted based upon my needs, and not on his need for a sale. The process was smooth and painless and I left that evening driving away in what I wanted, and at a fair price. However- it was after the sale where I decided that Baxter really raised the bar on customer service above the rest! I had some after market additions as well as a couple minor glitches with my vehicle that I need worked out. Jayana far exceeded my expectations!! She was easy to work with, had a great personality at all times, and truly went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. From start to finish she made sure I was taken care of and that I was happy with my purchase. Anyone can put on a 'game face' to make a sale, but to continue to provide exceptional customer service AFTER the sale is remarkable! She went the extra 150% to assist me far beyond what was in her normal job duties. For her level of customer service alone, I will be referring friends and family to baxter as well continuing as a customer for all my needs. Thank you for making car buying pleasant and simple! More
