Matt from finance was rude and didn't listen to any of our concerns. Never apologetic of the mistake that was made. A customer of yours has been lost. of our concerns. Never apologetic of the mistake that was made. A customer of yours has been lost. More
My family just bought our forth car from Baxter. We have never had a bad experience -exactly the opposite. Every experience at Baxter has been amazing. Sales Manager, Donnie Rosenthal was so nice. He work never had a bad experience -exactly the opposite. Every experience at Baxter has been amazing. Sales Manager, Donnie Rosenthal was so nice. He worked hard and quickly to find a replacement for my daughter's totalled car and found one that she absolutely loves at a great price! Our Sales Consultant, Tim Sallach wasn't pushy, just helpful and friendly. Everyone was great, we really liked Sergio Rangel in Finance as well. My whole family would highly recommend Baxter Ford for it's professionalism, friendliness, and eagerness to find what we wanted. They've managed to get that done every time so far! Thanks Baxter! We came to Baxter ford to purchase a 2013 ford explorer and we were very satisfied with our experienced. A few months later we decided to purchased a 2013 ford fusion, at first everything was going great, and we were very satisfied with our experienced. A few months later we decided to purchased a 2013 ford fusion, at first everything was going great, however, somewhere someone dropped the ball and our deal went from great to disaster. My wife start making phone calls and not getting any response. Finally she got a hold of Carmen Jensen. Carmen was able to help us complete the transaction we had with the 2013 ford fusion. In behalf of my wife, I would like to the take the opportunity to say thank you to Carmen and we all appreciate all the efforts she put in to make this deal a happy ending. A manager like Carmen should be recognized and rewarded. We will continue to purchase a ford product from baxter ford as long as they have a manager like Carmen that will go above and beyond to assist their customer's. Again, thanks Carmen. He took the time to explain the different package options and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my test drive. The sales process was smooth and painless I only had to counter offer once but the price I and was reasonable and fair. The aftermarket salesperson Jane Robinson was very nice and professional. I didn't intend on buying any accessories from the dealer but after speaking with her it made sense, their prices were less and saved me a lot of time. I had Baxter install mud flaps, spray in bed liner, undercoating, paint protection, and window tinting. They also installed a trailer brake control all in one day for about $1400.00 priced separately Bill Jackson the Sales Manager and Carmen Jensen went out of their way to make sure the process went smoothly and to my satisfaction. As a sales person myself, I understand how important professionalism and taking care of the customer really is. It's all about establishing and Building the relationship. All the folks I worked with Baxter Ford demonstrated this philosophy I'll certainly refer my friends and family to Baxter Ford as I know they will be take taken care of by professional fair people. Typical old school approach to selling cars when inquiring about the price of a vehicle and what payment could be expected - "let me get your credit app, I have to talk to our finance guy, sign inquiring about the price of a vehicle and what payment could be expected - "let me get your credit app, I have to talk to our finance guy, sign this saying you will buy today if we can get to this payment even though I haven't told you the price." Ridiculously bad experience, even more so considering I have access to supplier pricing through my employer which is supposed to be no haggle. Will not ever do business here. Bought two cars last month from Gregg Young, and will be taking my friend that we were shopping for there, where they are anxious to do business with her and her co-signer, and don't condescendingly refer to her as "sweetheart." I was looking for a van in the $18500 range. I was contacted by Kevin from Baxter Ford informing me that they had the "Perfect" Van for me. He sent me pics and I was told it was in great condition. contacted by Kevin from Baxter Ford informing me that they had the "Perfect" Van for me. He sent me pics and I was told it was in great condition. I'm from South Dakota and they offered to drive it to me, which I thought was great. All I had to do was put a $200 deposit down on it. When I received the van there were many things missing and wrong. It was missing the headrests, remote to the DVD player, Floor Mats, and the radio and DVD player weren't working. I was promised that those things would be fixed and replaced. The first day that I drove the van it felt really "jerky." I'm not a mechanic but I could tell that something wasn't right with it. I stopped payment on the check until the van was checked out. When I called back to Baxter Ford they did agree that the van should be checked out (probably because I stopped payment on the check). When I took it to a mechanic in my town I was told that the transmission was going out! Needless to say I didn't want to spend $18500 on a vehicle that had a transmission going out. They did agree to fix it or return the van. I decided to return the van, they said I would get the $200 deposit back and I have yet to see it 3 months later! I have tried numerous times to contact Kevin with no response about the refund of my deposit. So, buyer beware if you are looking a purchasing a vehicle from this company. They make promises that they don't keep! More
The sales people at this dealership are very friendly to your face but are very difficult to deal with from then on out. They very rarely answer their phones or return your calls even though when you actua your face but are very difficult to deal with from then on out. They very rarely answer their phones or return your calls even though when you actually go to the dealership it does not appear that anyone is doing much of any sort of work. While we did get a good deal on our car we had to convince them that the price they were trying to sell us the car for was thousands above the price listed on AutoTrader. Then we were sold an extended warranty to which we did not agree (though I accept the fault of not paying closer attention). I believe we were able to cancel this warranty but not until after making an extra trip to the dealership to sign a simple piece of paper that I'm sure could have been accomplished by fax or mail. All in all our experience at Baxter Ford was okay but I am highly unlikely to return for any future purchases. More
I went to Baxter Ford for a specific used car I had seen online. I was quite happy with my sales person and the deal that we reached. It was everyone other than the sales person that makes me never want to online. I was quite happy with my sales person and the deal that we reached. It was everyone other than the sales person that makes me never want to return. First, came in the person who tries to sell you the coatings and extras. When I turned them down, she was a little pushy but not bad at all. I spent so much time waiting alone while my sales person went and checked or talked to someone else, I was completely exhausted by the time I got to the finance portion. I had been dealing with them for hours upon hours and just wanted to get it done, so I wasn't as sharp as I should have been. The finance guy is also the person that tries to sell you on the maintenance/service plan. When he said a maintenance plan was $70 a month, I said "no way." Then he said, "okay I can get it for you for $9 a month." When someone tells you, $9 a month for 48 months, the logical assumption is that it costs $9x48=$432. So, why my plan was $2000, I still couldn't tell you. When I discovered this I was angry and went back to return it. The guy who was helping me was very very pushy and I had multiple urges to tell him to shut up and just give me my money back. I sat through his BS and got my money back after a painful (and greasy-feeling) experience. I also returned the 4 years worth of oil changes which I had somehow accidentally purchased originally. I can say with 100% certainty that if I had been clearly told I was purchasing oil changes, I would have said no... I feel like I was tricked into it and never told what I was buying. My other complaint is that they took so long to send my paperwork to the bank, my first payment was late before I even received a bill. Overall, my experience felt like all of the cliches about dirty/tricky car sales people and I would not go back. More
I( a woman) looked at buying a van they were asking 2000.00 and I tolk it for a test drive and it was making a loud clicking noise I was told it was the cd player trying to eject a disk. the raido was 2000.00 and I tolk it for a test drive and it was making a loud clicking noise I was told it was the cd player trying to eject a disk. the raido was not even on. if it was the cd player it would stop when the radio was turned off. well I thought it was the heater. they messed with the heat controls and got it to stop. did not fix anything I gave them a offe of 1500 now that its the heater not the cdplayer and they came back asking 3500. more than the origanal amout waht a crock of horse poop More
