The sunroof still opens (not as bad) when going over railroad tracks or any rough pavement. Also having issues with Bluetooth working sporadically. At this visit it was working properlty but past few days it is not connecting. These are both minor and I am sure can be corrected. Will bring back in after first of year. I have no complaints regarding the service received. Connie Queen 116 Misty Waters Lane Jamestown NC 27282 More

Battleground Kia has very serious personnel issues! I have never been to a dealership as disorganized, inexperienced and incompetent in my life!! My husband and I have been buying cars for decades and h have never been to a dealership as disorganized, inexperienced and incompetent in my life!! My husband and I have been buying cars for decades and have heard all the code lines and questions. The sales people are obviously inexperienced and act like desperate vultures, laying the lines on thick as if we were first time car buyers. Women and first time buyers BEWARE! The Finance lady was sadly confused and kept having to redo the paperwork, because the real Finance guy walked out. They didn't process the loan paperwork for 2 weeks, after I called to asked what was up. And, of course, that person was gone and who ever was filling in for her was doing everything wrong. And I wish I hadn't called, because the idiots thought they had the money already - I could have had a free car - at least until they figured it out. Which I'm sure would have taken quite a long time!!. Then, there is the license plate issue. And, yes, you guessed it - that person quit too!!! So,2 months now and still no license plate. And all the incompetent idiots at Battleground Kia have to say is sorry. They have no idea how to fix all the mistakes they make, but feel that 'sorry' should make it all better. I will never buy anything from Battleground Kia or any Kia dealer ever again. And I have been telling my family, friends and co-workers about our terrible experiences with them. This is a very poorly run dealership with no leadership, no experience and a seemingly high turnover of employees due to the poor leadership. More
I would only recommend this dealership due to Brandon Johnson and the sales manager Glenn they were great in finding me car after my ordeal. I had purchased a car so I thought on Feb 3 2012 and was told Johnson and the sales manager Glenn they were great in finding me car after my ordeal. I had purchased a car so I thought on Feb 3 2012 and was told by the finance manager that he knew he would get me a better intrest rate, my husband got a call to see what type of car payments he would want and was told no problem they would call him back. Instead of my husband getting a call back they called me and said I needed to bring my car back in and trade for something else, I was so confused on what happened with the confidence of getting a better rate and bringing the car back. This has never happened to me ever, of course I talked to several people, they all were like that is so crazy. I sent a rating to the dealership then that is when Glenn got in involved, advise my credit union will get involved and finance the car, so while I worked on that end Glenn worked on his end. Glen called me said he had good news he was putting me in a brand new Kia Optima I was okay with that but wanted that Nissan Altima. Brandon apologize for the hanging up and me having to bring the car back, which was greatly appreciated, my son had just ask if anyone apologized which was a plus in Brandons favor. When I got to the dealership sick, signing my papers the loan officer was so rude that may 17 year old son had to be calm down and Glen had to come in office. All in all I love the car thanks to Brandon and Glenn More
For those who don't look forward to the process of buying a new car, Bacari Sims comes highly recommended! He treated me like a friend--taking the time to listen to the type of car I was interested in, walki a new car, Bacari Sims comes highly recommended! He treated me like a friend--taking the time to listen to the type of car I was interested in, walking the lot and pointing out several possibilities. He was very knowledgeable about the exceptional features of Sportage, from the front bumper all the way through to the storage compartments in the rear. Although my intentions were only to look but not buy, the selection at Battleground Kia was better than at several dealerships much nearer to my home. I didn't feel the usual sales pressure with Bacari who was so friendly and easy to talk with. His attitude, respectfulness and professionalism make him shine! He worked hard to help me get a good deal on the car I selected and managed to throw in a couple of extras. He even took the time to sync my phone and set a few stations I could enjoy on my trip back home. (All those little things mean a lot!) I would definitely make the two hour drive back for my next vehicle just to be able to work with Bacari! More
I received a letter in the mail about buy out and Josh was able to assist me. I was interested in the Kia Optima or Forte Coup. I had no problem with Josh; he educated me on the Kia Optima and helps me was able to assist me. I was interested in the Kia Optima or Forte Coup. I had no problem with Josh; he educated me on the Kia Optima and helps me to select the perfect color. Once we return from a test drive and try to get the car finance, that's when the problem accrued. On the buyback paper it stated my trade in would be more than the value of the car. When you contacted the finance company to get my pay off, you all were not trying to offer the amount showing on the letter. You all offer 4 thousand less than what the letter read and do to the fact I had to much negative equity you all were not able to work with me. I was not upset with Josh; I was upset with the finance person or the manager of Battleground Kia because I felt you all really did not try to help me. The trade in value from the letter was not offered, no one asked if I had extended warranty, or gap insurance on the vehicle I was trading in to bring the amount down or apply towards the new vehicle. Nether to say, I did not walk away with a new car nor was I a happy customer. More

Bought our Kia Sportage brand new from Battleground, the Bought our Kia Sportage brand new from Battleground, the salesman was a bit pushy but I was expecting him to be that way so it wasn't a problem or Bought our Kia Sportage brand new from Battleground, the salesman was a bit pushy but I was expecting him to be that way so it wasn't a problem or the reason for this review. The problems started when I had to get service done (other then the regular oil changes). The fan motor for the heat and air started making a high pitched squeeking noise so as part of the "10 year 100,000 mile warranty" I took it in to have it replaced. I took it in 2 weeks before Thanksgiving so they could check out the problem, I was told that they didn't usually stock that part so they would have to order it and it should be in by the following week. The next week I called and no part. The following week no part, but was assured it would be in the day after Thanksgiving and was told to go ahead and schedule a appointment which I did for the following monday (3 weeks from when this started). I arrived a few minutes early, checked in, they took the car and I went to the waiting room (8 am). I sat in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours without them saying a word to me. I finally got sick of waiting and went to see why it was taking so long because I was told it should only take about 45 minutes. When I tracked the service guy down he told me that the part had been backordered, they didn't have one, had no idea when they could, and NEVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME THIS FOR 2 1/2 hours until I came and found him! I was furious driving i as far as I did and WASTING my entire day because I had already had to re-schedule everything I had planned. I went to the general manager, told him what was going on and what had been done, he kept me "occupied" for about 1/2 hour until he came back and reported to me that they had "magically" got one of the fans, and that my car was ready. I took it as a miscommunication and decided to just write it off, that was until today (the next service that I needed) and it seems to be somewhat of a trend. I took the vehicle in for it's 15,000 mile service, I chose the "prefered" service (which is $175) because it seemed more in depth with the service and the service guy told me it included a "3 hour detail". I got a call later telling me that the air filter and the cabin filter needed to be changed so I told him to go ahead and change them. When my wife left her work to go get the vehicle it wasn't around $220-$230 that I expected but it was $289. They charged $50 for an air filter (which is WAY to expensive...I could buy a washable re-useable for that price) and they charged $5 just to put it in....it takes a total of 2 minutes to do it, aggrivating, but that sometimes happens, what really got me is when she got back to work she asked why I didn't get the "3 hour detail"? that the service guy talked about, when I told her that I did she told me all they did was wash down the outside and run a quick vaccuum through it. When I called the general manager about it I was told that "it's only a $5 quick wash on the outside".....so, the whole "3 hour detail" was a crock. So, in summation I guess my best review is to tell you that reguardless of what you buy or get serviced from them don't take there word for it because they will tell you whatever they want!!!!! *** Just a a future note, I was looking at buying a truck from them, I WILL NOT be buying it there!!!*** More
