The Best. Always make the transaction fast and courteous. This is my third vehicle I have purchased from Bates Ford and will do again. Always make the transaction fast and courteous. This is my third vehicle I have purchased from Bates Ford and will do again. More
I have been wanting a new Ford Bronco. As most people know, they are extremely difficult to acquire. I had finally decided to order one this past summer, just to find out the hype was real As most people know, they are extremely difficult to acquire. I had finally decided to order one this past summer, just to find out the hype was real and you literally could not order one if you tried because Ford has so many orders they stopped taking them. I resorted myself to staying with my (5th) Jeep Wrangler until I could acquire one either by order or by good luck. Bates Ford is my hometown Ford dealership as of last year when my family moved back to the area from East TN. I have done zero vehicle business with Bate’s other than some basic service work over the years. My wife and I were driving by and saw a white (our first choice) Ford Bronco Wildtrack sitting in the back forty. As I pulled in, my wife said “You know that’s not going to be available.” to which I answered “You’re most likely right, but I want to see it up close.” Turns out, it was a Wildtrack and had the interior I wanted. So I mustered up the courage to drive to the front entrance and ask the question these guys probably got asked 57 times already that day. I asked a group of Salesman if it was available and they laughed at me (in a fun way) and said no, that it was a special order. I simply asked if I could get on a list, should by chance the deal might fall through. A salesman named Zach took my info and promised to follow up with me if the vehicle became available. Really long story short, the deal fell through. Bad luck for someone else and great luck for me. Zach was a super pro. Great communication. Patient with my questions. Had everything waiting on me with the vehicles spotlessly clean and full of that liquid gold (fuel) sitting out front. By the way, dealerships as a rule have completely lost focus of how important it is to actually properly PDI vehicles for customers paying this big money. Most leave the stickers and residue all over everything because of pure laziness and they just expect the customer to be so grateful they even got a new vehicle. But not Bates. Not on my new Bronco. It was spotless and trust me, I’m a detail freak. Zach walked me around the vehicle pointing out some things and reinforcing my great decision to purchase from him and his team at Bates. He’s a pro. He knew his stuff. He was totally prepared. He then walked me in and introduced me to the F&I Manager, Nathan, who I had spoke to on the phone previously. Nathan was also a pro. Not the typical “and your name was what again?” as they look for your paperwork and try to get it ready while they eat their breakfast and drink their coffee and bs with their co-workers while you watch it all sitting in the lobby. Nope…not at Bates. They said they would be ready and they were ready. Bottom line. I paid all the money. I hate that because I’m a deal hound but it was what the vehicle was worth and I knew it. More importantly however, I was treated like an important customer. My salesman was honest and up front. No games. No hidden fees. My time was respected by him and Nathan. I have NEVER been in and out of a dealership to buy a vehicle in a shorter time. It was literally the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. Kudos to Bates Ford. Kudos to Zach. You are my kind of dude! Kudos to Nathan. You showed me respect and moved with purpose. I’m a big fan all around. The Bronco is worth all the hype. My 5th Jeep will be my last. There is a new Sheriff in town and it’s a Ford. More

Didn't know who to ask for, the online person or the salesman that texted me. Did not like the salesperson telling me that what I needed to do was go back to Franklin and order a new car instead of look salesman that texted me. Did not like the salesperson telling me that what I needed to do was go back to Franklin and order a new car instead of looking at the one I drove an hour (twice) to look at their car. Needless to say, I was not pleased with their salesperson. More
While waiting on my vehicle I overheard Tracy talking to an elderly lady. The customer said she needed a new set of tires because they made a noise. Tracy told her that the mechanic added air and she didn’t an elderly lady. The customer said she needed a new set of tires because they made a noise. Tracy told her that the mechanic added air and she didn’t need tires. I was so impressed. At another dealership every customer was told they needed this or that. I will be a customer. I have purchased two F150s and a car for my wife. Thanks for your honesty. More
