Service & Detailing Dept Needs to Pay Attention to detail Update: 9-24-19 I found out my used 2011 Honda Civic LX had a bad oil leak. It cost me $615.45 to fix the leak. It's a shame as I love Honda cars but the Honda Dealers around here only Care about the money and not the support. The transmission fluid I have no idea when that was last changed. It cost me $125.35 for the change. The transmission fluid was very dirty. The oil was suppose to be changed and when I got the car it said still good for 80%. Who even knows if that is true. Both of these fluid I was told was changed but that wasn't true. Basney Honda will tell you whatever you want to hear to get a sale and a car sold. All future cars will not be bought at any of there dealerships. Brandon Wilson was the only reason why I bought a car there. since I can only rate once on this app I give Brandon 4 Stars. Getting my word out about the service department was more import t to me. A good company is concerned about there customers reviews and will do what they can do to resolve there problems. I tried to get these problems fixed by Chip Basney before I posted this review but no luck. I recently purchased a used 2011 Honda Civic LX. I was out in the parking lot for almost 20 minutes before someone came outside. The people that have desks facing the front window did not get up to to help me even though they weren't doing anything. Brandon Wilson that was down on the far end of the building came out to talk to me and help me out. When I came into the building the people facing the front window were surfing the web watching videos or something else. This low review is not for Brandon but for the service department and people that detailed the car. I don't even think the service department checks the cars before they are sold. The cabin filter I changed because it had so much crap in it and was beyond dirty. The transmission fluid was filthy per a third party transmission place I took the car to. The oil was not changed as it had 70% life left to it even though I was told it was changed with fresh oil. I'm not even sure that the oil reading is correct on the car so I will get the oil changed. The back brakes had 40% life per a trusted brake shop I go to. There is an oil leak under the car. I had my trusted shop I go to put dye in the oil and degrease under the car. I will drive the car for a few hundred miles and see what happens. I also found a clip missing on the molding were the passenger side airbag was. I was told by Chip Basney, that if I buy the clip they will install for free. Maybe they though this was a safety issue so they fixed it for free like they should of. I use hardware and software To find error codes that maybe on the car. I found low pressure in the tires which was an easy fix. The other code that concerned me was code 41-11 which has to do with the front drivers impact sensor. I was told from Basney's tech that it was a fake reading and there equipment did not find this code. I had my sales person document this error code so if I get this reading again they have to fix it or I hope they will. I may also take the car to a shop to see if they can simulate this code. Next week I have an appointment to get the Transmission fluid changed which Basney should pay for but won't. I will get the oil changed after I'm told about the results of the oil leak. I replaced the tires on the car with new Michelin higher end tires even though the others that came with the car were fine. This was my choice and I do not blame Basney. I wanted something better for the winter than a cheap low grade tire. The person that details the cars must have there eyes closed or management doesn't allow more that 10-15 minutes for each car. There was absolutely no wax put on the outside of the car. There is literally dirt and grime all over the car. I will have to clay and compound the car before I put wax on it. They did clean the seats and the floors I'm guessing with a steamer. There was still dirt and debris under and around the seats. I was given cheap Basney floor mats(With Basney written on them. I guess it's cheap advertisement for them) but it does not fit on the drivers side as the mat is over the gas pedal. I tried to fix the mat but it's to big. I just bought non Honda professional all seasonal mats for the car. I ended up cleaning and detailing the whole inside of the car which looks a million times better than what they did. If you want an excellent sales rep then get Brandon Wilson. He is a young guy that will work for you with no pressure. More

Extremely expensive Cost for the repairs was over priced, especially since one repair basically over lapped the other in as far as labor hours were concerned. Very clean and efficient I was only there for an oil change but everything in the service area and waiting room was very clean and welcoming. 15K Mile Service Concerned that for a 1:00 appointment, my car sat where I parked in upon arrival until 1:45. Seems that could have been handled quicker to shorten my overall stay/wait. I also asked them to look at loose trim on left rear bumper that I had noticed about a week after purchase. Every time I pushed it in it would stay in place for 3-7 days and then pop out again. They said it appears that corner of bumper had been hit and the clips holding trim piece needed replacement. I explained this was a used car I had purchased in April (Honda Certified Preowned) and that to the best of my knowledge whatever happened had been prior to my purchasing the vehicle. Advisor checked with manager and said it was not covered. They offered to fix at my expense for ~$700, which I declined. Seems this was something that occurred prior to my purchase and was most likely missed during certification. We be discussion with sales person next visit. More
