Called BMW of Schererville to get oil changed and was told there were no openings until the next Wednesday. Called BMW in South Bend, which is were the car was actually purchased, and was told to come right in. Oil change was completed in about a half hour. Ultimate Customer Attention Some people really enjoy the experience of buying a car. Not me. Generally I view it as a necessary evil. It will suck up my time, I may get pressured to make decisions I’ll regret, and I’ll feel like no matter what I got, I could have done better had I just looked more or been a tougher negotiator. All this applies twice as much when you find yourself part of the VW recall and buyback; already disappointed and having to turn in a car you had intended to keep for years to come. So when we began our search for the replacement I started a fastidious process of searching in three states for the optimal purchase. We should be wise with our investment. We should look at just finding something we could pay for in full with the buyback and thus use this as an opportunity to rid ourselves of any payments. We should look at something sensible and economical because we have plans to move in a few years. Etc. But I also decided to do a search for my husband’s dream car and just see what happens. That’s when we found our little gem or a car at Basney BMW. It was hard to believe, the price, the model, the mileage. Wo we went to see for ourselves, fully expecting this was going to be only the start of a long process of finding the right vehicle. Our 328xi was the first car we test drove, and it was the one we purchased. Joe Norton took care of us. He was knowledgeable, and that’s an impressive thing to say when you’re talking about BMWs, cars which have so many bells and whistles it takes an encyclopedia to contain all the manuals! He was very friendly and welcomes us warmly. It was so comfortable talking to him and not feeling pressure, as if talking to a good friend. Chris Egan also took care of us, as did the ladies in the dealership. Everyone seems to understand the importance of time, and the process was not dreadfully long, but instead it felt efficient and welcoming. I feel spoiled now. And I want to thank the staff at Basney. We are so happy with our purchase, we came out of it feeling like it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made in a long time. And we are seriously considering keeping this vehicle with us for our move. That means this BMW may be crossing an ocean! I look forward to being part of the Basney customer family in the meantime. Thank you for your top notch service! More

My service advisor was Dean who throughout the day kept me up to date on the progress of the repairs. While they were doing the recalls, they did the upcoming services that would need to be done by August. I really appreciate them doing all the stuff that needed done to save me a trip back up to South Bend from Warsaw. Thank you so much! They gave us a beautiful X5 to drive while they were servicing the i3. I even got to play with Apple CarPlay. That's just the coolest thing since sliced bread! Anyway, they have a very efficient service department and have consistently given us great service, not to mention their staff is very friendly and treated us like family. By the end of the day, we were charged back up and on our way back to Warsaw. Thank you Basney for yet again great service experience! More

Chad Klein was my main contact and did an excellent job of coordinating the deal. He was always quick with responses and when he wasn't able to answer my questions regarding installation of a hitch he directed me to Jeff in parts who was very knowledgeable and helpful. They even coordinated installation of a towing package on the car prior to pick up, saving me a trip later. I would definitely recommend Basney for exceptional customer service. More
