Went to Barton Ford on a Saturday to look at a truck I saw on the website (which wasn't there that day) but found an even better one at an even better deal! Thanks to Ron Bowks and Wes Jackson for making this a truly pleasurable experience, I pass on their information to anyone/everyone I find out is looking to purchase a vehicle because I know they will be treated right! A truly class organization, I've bought nothing but Fords for the past 24 years but I've got myself a new Ford dealer for as long as I live if they keep this up. Not only was their sales department top notch, but their parts department stands head and shoulders above any other Ford dealership I've ever dealt with. I will drive 40 miles to Barton for all my Ford needs rather than driving 2 miles to my nearest Ford dealer and that's a fact! More
I went in to look at a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. When we looked at the vehicle it did not start. After jumping the vehicle, I asked the salesman to put a new battery car several times. Throughout the purchase process the salesman talked about how he likes to treat customers like family. Salesman , during the buying process, went so far as to show me the car started in the parking lot without issue. My fault for not physically checking under the hood. A week later I went to take my kids to school on a cold morning and the battery was dead. After using my old car to jump my new car I called the salesman. He pretended that I had not asked for a new battery and told me he could not do anything. More
This is a very overdue review; I bought a new Expedition Max from Barton Ford in August. I had the pleasure of working with Ron as our salesman and Wes as our Finance manager. Ron is a great guy! He answered all of my questions before I came into the dealership to look at the vehicle. My search for the vehicle was very specific for I wanted the max tow package with some other features. I emailed Ron on a Monday evening and he called me to verify my questions, he told me he would give me a call in about 30 minutes with the answers because he was not at the dealership right then. 30 minutes later I got a phone call with all of my answers and set up a time the next day to see it in person. Next day I drove into the lot and Ron had the Expedition parked up front with the keys ready to go on the test drive. While on the test drive Ron worked on getting all of the numbers together to go over when we got back. After our test drive, we started talking numbers. I already had an idea of where I wanted to be and when I got back Ron and Wes had beaten all of my numbers that I wanted to be under. I got more for my trade and the vehicle’s final price was under what I wanted to pay. I also did a pre-approval with my bank and got a rate and payment that I wanted, I told Ron and Wes what my rate and payment would be, and again they were able to beat it. When leaving we scheduled the vehicle to be detailed later in the week because of it raining the day we took it home. I have three kids and don’t have a lot of extra time for a vehicle to be down but Ron put us into a loaner Expedition while ours was in for the detail; I never asked for a loaner he just knew that we had three young kids and offered the loaner for us. Before the detail appointment I noticed a scratch on the back hatch when I brought it in and Ron took care of that for me as well. I had to schedule an appointment but Ron made it happen instead of letting it be my problem after the sale. This is the first experience I have every had that was enjoyable when buying a vehicle. Ron and the Barton family team looked out for us and even helped us out weeks after the sale was complete. When I need another vehicle Ron will be my first stop no matter what. More

I received a call late Tuesday of last week advising me of an appointment the following morning; I couldn't do that, so I asked them to reschedule. They said they would get back to me. This morning, I called the place in Virginia Beach to find out if I had been rescheduled, only to learn I have been scheduled for 9 a.m. tomorrow. I live in Hampton, so it will take me some time to get there. But I'm rather disappointed that I had to call to find this out, rather than hearing back from the dealership. More
Disregarded road noise identified and fixed this time On my most recent visit for service, the service manager, Tracy, had the shop foreman ride with me to hear the road noise I had complained about my p On my most recent visit for service, the service manager, Tracy, had the shop foreman ride with me to hear the road noise I had complained about my previous visit (last July) but the mechanic said was nothing to worry about. Shortly after we got on the road, the shop foreman identified the noise as a bad wheel bearing. The wheel bearing was so worn that it had scored the front brake rotor - both of which were corrected with new parts. Tracy also located a set of the Pirelli tires I wanted from a dealer in North Carolina. When I left this time I was super happy - my F150 drove like a new truck - no road noise, new tires and best of all, peace of mind. Thank you Tracy! More
