I initially had an appt on January 2nd for my first routine oil change. I received a call from the service dept. stating that I would have to reschedule to a weekday because there was a recall on the c routine oil change. I received a call from the service dept. stating that I would have to reschedule to a weekday because there was a recall on the car and recalls are not taken care of on Saturdays. That was fine, I understood. I also mentioned that because we purchased the car so late in the evening, a detail was not done and our salesman, Parish, said that we could have it taken care of while the car was being serviced at one of the appts. I was told that it would be done. I arrived on January 15th for the rescheduled appt and in the end the recall was not done because the remedy was not available, the detail was not done because it was not in the system and I had to miss work rather than come on a Saturday. The young man that checked my car in and helped me was nothing but polite and apologetic, so absolutely nothing against him, it was just disappointing that I possibly would not have had to miss work had someone let me know that the recall remedy was not available and that the detail was not in the system. More
