Buyer Beware! DO NOT SHOP AT BARRY SANDERS - BUYER BEWARE! I was pre-approved through Capitol One Auto. Had my financing terms, interest, and approval/reference # DO NOT SHOP AT BARRY SANDERS - BUYER BEWARE! I was pre-approved through Capitol One Auto. Had my financing terms, interest, and approval/reference # in hand. My first red flag should have been noted when I submitted interest in several vehicles (2018 KIA Niro / 2019 Hyundai Ioniq). Instantly received and auto (several) generated response from Mason (Internet Sales Mgr). I sent him an initial email outlining several questions regarding the dealership, the vehicles of interest, and confirming the final "all-in" pricing. No Response for more than 24 hours. I then received a text message from Mason, which I believe was auto generated. I responded and asked if he received my email from the other day. NO RESPONSE! Then I finally received a response from Mason about 36 hours after my initial inquiry, which he failed to really answer all my questions in depth. He wanted me to come in for a test drive and discuss further any questions... On Friday (05/31/19), I arrived at the dealership around 10:15am. I was introduced to Mason, then he immediately told me he was going to have me work with a different sales rep. This is NOT professional! The "assigned" sales rep should have been assigned immediately to me upon my initial email correspondence! Again, thought I could work with them. Test drove the two vehicles of interest. We finally decided to move forward with the used 2018 KIA Niro, which was advertised for $17,995. The sales rep immediately wanted to run my credit and get me pre-approved, which I told him for the 10th time, I was already pre-approved through Capitol One Auto. He then proceeded to take my trade info (2001 Dodge Ram w/104k - but had a cracked dash/some hail damage) to his "manager" to see what they could do for me. After about 30 minutes, he came back and showed me the numbers. $19,995 for the Niro and only $300 for my trade (Scrap Value). When asked about the price difference on the Niro, he stated that they added the "Life Time Engine, Tinting, Nitrogen Filled Tires, Tint, Courtesy Transportation when I bring the vehicle in for servicing, etc." This was non-negotiable. Come to find out, they add this fee to ALL THEIR CARS! Some of the fees are listed at $1,900, while others are more than $2,300. So, if you want to pay full asking price, plus pay for an additional "Service Package", which is way overpriced in my opinion, then go shopping at Barry Sanders... I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, nor will I ever step foot on their property. Oh yea, even though they never ran my credit, they informed me they could get me financed at $479 per mo (ballpark) for a $20k vehicle loan! What? My preapproved Capitol One interest rate was only 3.79% for 72 mo. at $306 per mo. More

Lack of follow up. My service went well. I inquired about an earlier service I had and it was a issue about my driver side seat peeling of the seat leather. Pictures w My service went well. Pictures were taken and I was informed I would hear from them on a decision from Chrysler. I called in late fall of last year and again advised I would hear something soon. On my service call this month I again inquired about the seat. More pictures taken and advised I would hear within a day. No response. So service and customer satisfaction is not high on my list. More
