I wish to state this strongly because earlier I had written snarky, snippety review when he had not gotten back to me, which was actually due to an illness. I needed a car for ski season. I am living in South America and found exactly what I needed (E320 4matic wagon) online. I paid for it and Barry stored it (FOC) for a couple months. He suggested how to get it registered, insured etc and put my new license plates on the car (FOC). He offered to drive and deliver it (also FOC) to Logan Airport on the day of my arrival. Missed / delayed flights meant that Barry got to spend the entire day waiting in Boston….. Arriving late in the day, (24 hours of travel) he was standing at the curb. All ready, all done, all perfect. We took him to the Train Station and drove 5 hours North. The car is exactly as described, just great – in the next 15 days has done some 1400 trouble free miles in the Maine Northwoods midwinter. There are lots of things that could have gone wrong: buying a car sight unseen, storing it in another country, getting the paperwork done before my arrival, getting in 8 hours late at an unknown airport, using an unknown car in winter weather. Barry is a nice friendly guy who works out of his house. That is the only positive thing I can say. I purchased car from him, he told us it was recently service by Viti and is a great car. Over $3,000 dollars in repairs 2-3,000 miles in . . . no response from Barry asking for assistance. Approximately 5,000 miles into the vehicle now need a new motor . . . will cost over $7,400. Still awaiting response from Barry. I understand when you buy a used vehicle you take the risk, but in my opinion a good dealer works with their clients should there be issues, Barry stops service once the car is sold. Buyer beware. I went to try an purchase and nice bmw with barry and it was the worst experience I've ever had with a car dealer. I got all the paper work dont like he asked for, and suv had to be serviced. So I gave him some time to do that, couple days later he said car is not done yet. I called him every day for almost 2 weeks and he never picked up the phone, so unprofessional. It friday came an he told me car has a oil leak and it would cost him $1500 to fix. He was so cheap he didn't want to fix it.he should have told me in 2 days in stead of 2 weeks. I would have gotten a car already. Most unprofessional dealer ever. Dont recommend More
