I found it very easy to deal with the folks over at Baron Nissan. I never felt pressured when I set foot on the lot. They kept me informed every step of the way of my car buying process. Allison and Rich Nissan. I never felt pressured when I set foot on the lot. They kept me informed every step of the way of my car buying process. Allison and Rich took the time to make sure that I understood all that was going on; that I got the best deal possible. The day I picked up the car and signed all the paper work, once again Allison and Rich had everything set up ready to go that way when I walked in the door all I had to do was sign the paper work, make my down payment and drive off the lot. I was allowed to inspect the car before I drove it off the lot to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction, and if it wasn't Rich and Allison would have taken care of it right there on the spot. I have a co worker who is also looking for a car and I plan on taking her to Baron Nissan. More
It is rare that in this service driven world that you find a company and an individual who closely match perfection in what they offer and how they do it. I was looking for a pre-owned truck for 4 months find a company and an individual who closely match perfection in what they offer and how they do it. I was looking for a pre-owned truck for 4 months. Most of the dealerships on the Island just handed me the keys to what they had and told me to "take a look". Take a look what a stuoid thing to do not withstanding the fsct that when asked simple questions they could not give an answere. Then one evening on my way from work I passed Baron Nissan and had seen a truck from the street that just might fit the bill. It was almost 9 and I stopped to take a look forgetting about the time. I was greeted by Richard Cirami, the manager who was just getting ready to close the doors. So I asked him a few questions and told him I would come back in the morning as I wanted to drive the truck. He said you don't have to wait, lets tske a ride now. I was amazed. So he got the keys and off we went for the next 15 minutes. He explained every option on that vehicle and knew more about every truck that I looked at prior. Not an ordinary guy he told me he was a mega dealer from the West Coast who had moved here 10 years ago and just loved used vehicles. So we went back to the dealership, he made an espresso for me, yes he had a professional machine in his office and we hammered out a deal. We both walked out at 11 pm and he looked my car in his lot and I drove off with my new truck. He told me they would drive my car to my house in the morning and leave the keys under the mat if someone was not home. I was just blown away. You want service, you want a great buy call him directly he works 6 days a week and will accomodate you to whatever car you want. More

This place has got it ALL wrong. I went in on a Friday, test drove a car, asked about any hidden fees and was told there was only ONE, which was a prep and destination fee, that was it, besides the price o test drove a car, asked about any hidden fees and was told there was only ONE, which was a prep and destination fee, that was it, besides the price of the car. Go back the very next day to show the vehicle to my brother and all of sudden there is now a BANK FEE. Oh so interesting. I was told the bank fee was dependent on the customers institution and their own credit. My institution doesn't have a bank fee and they (the car dealer) knew that. They're car dealers, which means they are also liars, it comes with the territory. Knowing they play games and lie I ran my own credit report with my own bank and had excellent credit and the best possible rate available. Of course when I called the dealer to see what rate they got from my bank it was higher!!!! Why is it higher?? I was told because in order to get the lower rate it had to be direct payment. That was a lie. I had a deposit on the vehicle and was to pick it up a week later. Before I bought this vehicle I wanted my mechanic to look at it. Reasonable request, right? Oh no, not at this shady operation. They wanted either my mechanic to come to them, ha or better yet they wanted me to flat out purchase the vehicle put everything in my name, drive off the lot and take full responsibilty for anything that could have been wrong with the vehicle prior to putting everything in my name. ANY RELIABLE, and ETHICAL company would go above and beyond to please the customer. I mean they are potentially making money and their pockets are getting fatter if they sell the vehicle. It's not like I was buying a bike or a scooter. This is a 5 year investment. This place is a joke. They also tried to tell me that $12,000 financed is a $250 monthly payment with the rate I was given. Please, they think they are the only ones that own a financial calculator. Needless to say they themselves are still paying for a car to sit on their lot. Steer clear. They are shady and unethical. More
I was searching for a car online and stumbled onto a car i likeD online from baron nissan. i called to confirm the car was available because it was about a two hour drive away. i spoke with the salesperso i likeD online from baron nissan. i called to confirm the car was available because it was about a two hour drive away. i spoke with the salesperson (PAT) and got the details about the car. everything seemed to be as it was described online. i set up an appointment with the salesperson (pat) the next day to purchase the vehicle. i asked thes ales representative to start some of the initial paperwork to reduce my time spent at the dealership but from the moment i arrived the next day nothing was as expected. i asked for all the paperwork to be started and basically only needed my verification and signatures. it was anything but a quick in and out trip. i spent nearly eight hours at the dealership waiting for approval upon approvals. It seemed as if there was no end in sight. when i finally got to see my vehicle after extensive cleaning there were many things wrong. after i inspected the vehicle i discovered the odometer had an extra 1,200 miles, there was a huge tear in the fabric of the backseat, and there were also many minor scratches on the vehicle. once i discovered these defects i brought them to the attention of the sales representative upon which he had to bring in the lot manager(RICHARD ) into the mix of things. the lot manager himself claimed these were all minor imperfections which could be fixed with only minimal cost and time. He also promised me the dealership would incur the cost to repair these damages once an appointment became available within the service center. i was in dire need of a vehicle so i took his word and purchased the vehicle anyway that day thinking in the near future the damages would be repaired and the vehicle would be like new. it has now been two weeks since i purchased the vechicle and still nothing has been completed. i attempted to contact the lot manager on several occasions only to find he was either unavailable or it was "his day off". i have left many messages also but have not once been returned a call from the manager. two weeks later and the vehicle has only been in my possession for two days and the rest of the time it has been spent in a garage at the dealership waiting for the lot managers approval for repair. i have done all that i can to resolve this issue however i have limited resources and most importantly time. i haven't had anything to travel around in and im afraid i will have tokeep the car as is at this rate. in the end i only want what was promised to me. i always knew used car dealers had a bad reputation but this exceeds any and all of my worst expectations. i have never felt so deceived and manipulated. i would never ever again return to this dealership to conduct any business and i advise anyone else reading this to do the same. BARON NISSAN NEVER EVER AGAIN. More
