Bob was extremely professional, honest, and worked with me for my vehicle. I went to this dealer because they have a reputation for honesty (some other dealers in this region do not have this reputation an me for my vehicle. Other dealers have hidden fees, and strange added charges, or inflated interest rates- I experienced NONE of these problems purchasing my new car. And hey, its a honda! More

And thanks to your selfishness and naivette, I'm now the proud owner of a new Honda from Nardy -- and their sticker price over the phone was already $1000 less!!! This was the WORST (first) car buying experience of my life. I had a choice between 0.9% APR or an automatic $1000 discount. He told me I'm better off with the $1000 manufacturer's discount than the 0.9% APR. I would have paid so much money in interest had I gone with the $1000 discount!!! He never even did a side-by-side comparison of what I'd be saving/losing with each option. He never actually told me the price of the car before the $1000 discount either, and when I asked I got 3 different prices. Shame on you Baron. Please go out of business. More

To be honest, I was hesitant to go to Baron Honda based on past reviews. However, I saw a used car online that I liked at a decent price and decided to give it a try. I have to say I was pretty happy from beginning to end. From the moment I arrived, they were accomodating (thank you Tony!). There was a discrepancy in price and they honored it right away which made all the difference to me. In regards to financing, they were spectacular. Most dealerships were hesitant that I was in the middle of a modification but they made it work in a non-hassle, non-degrading way. I knew I wanted used and they never pressured me to buy something newer or with a lease I couldn't afford as did other places. I walked into Joe's office (finance) a little leary and walked out all the more happy that I met him. I was quite sure I was declining the upgraded warranty based on past reviews but he is good at his job and had me sold in about twenty minutes. No tricks, just aggressive salesmanship. He broke down the price for me monthly and worked magic there. When I had a concern over a price factored in on my contract, he answered my questions immediately and then went on to see that I was happy. In fact, he even went a little above and beyond :) *Useful info* The very aggressive lady that worked in financing and received numerous complaints on this site no longer works at this dealership. Thanks Joe~you're awesome! I am confident that this is just the beginning of a good relationship with Baron Honda. More

Lou was extremely focused in providing me with the best car buying experience I could have. I just bought my third Accord in a row from Baron Honda. I worked with Nick Cappola until his recent retirement. I was very saddened to hear he was gone but William Krooss-Tadas; the salesman who took over I worked with Nick Cappola until his recent retirement. I was very saddened to hear he was gone but William Krooss-Tadas; the salesman who took over and helped me trade in my 2006 Honda Accord was very very knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. I've been hearing a lot about dealer rater from other dealerships recently and I can tell that a lot of you out there are interested in what recent buyers have to say about these places. All I can tell you is that this is the third car I've personally bought from Baron Honda and my family has purchased several more and we tell all our friends to go there. They stay competitive with pricing as well as exemplary customer service and the most professional sales staff I've ever encountered. I hope this helps! More
My name is Nichole, I recently was trying to buy a car EVERYWHERE!!! Nobody would help me or take me seriously b/c I'm a girl and I'm only 21 years old. I spoke with a man named Henry Schwartz @ Nardy Hon EVERYWHERE!!! Nobody would help me or take me seriously b/c I'm a girl and I'm only 21 years old. I spoke with a man named Henry Schwartz @ Nardy Honda on a Saturday and he told me that there was no way I could get a loan w/o a co-signer and didn't even wanna try to help me. I thought I was out of options b/c the same man told me that I would need "more proof of income". Well apparently he was wrong. I went to Babylon and a sales lady told me the same story, but she was nicer I just cant remember her name and I lost her card. Finally I went to Baron Honda on rte 112 in Patchogue. I spoke with a man named Will Kroos and he said he would do everything he could for me. He still asked me for a co-signer but in a much nicer way and when I didn't have one. He spent the next few days trying to get me an approval on my own. He kept in touch with me everyday until Friday of that week when he called with the good news that Honda was willing to approve me at a very good interest rate and I bought the car. Will got me the best price out of everybody I talked to and the finance person Joe was excellent as well. I'm going to send all my friends down to Baron and I hope everybody that reads this realizes that there are still some car dealers out there who have some class!!! More
Buyer Beware......Yes you better bring your A game to handle a high pressure sales pitch at this dealer!! I recently went to Baron to purchase my second vehicle from them. I received a very good price handle a high pressure sales pitch at this dealer!! I recently went to Baron to purchase my second vehicle from them. I received a very good price from them for a minivan. I did receive a slightly lower one by $300 from another dealer but that wasn't the color we wanted and the dealer was located in huntington so we decided to trust Baron Honda and give them our business and loyalty. Unfortunately we used their fiance person Laura !!! WE did recieve a good interest rate that beat our credit union. Our salesmen gave us the breakdown for a 60 month loan at the interest rate and monthly payment. when we sat down with laura she had a 66 month deal at the same monthly payment. I said that was a deal breaker and she quickly produced a erroneous total pay out with interest and said divide it by 60 or 66 payments and it is virtaully the same thing! it made sense. Then she began a presentation of warranties on a piece of paper that last almost two hours in duration. She said that she had to do it because of her bosses. Typically tactic of a sales gimic! It was like a time share if you have ever gone to one of those things. We repeatly said no...no....no. Then she said we could get a three year bumper to bumper extended warranty for an extra three dollars a month. It made sense. ONly she based it on false and misleading numbers that she made up!! So I just felt something was wrong and checked all the numbers myself and found that she lied and misrepresented the total pay out numbers. I used bankrate.com I immediately went back the next day and said this was unacceptable and said that I was lied to. By the way she did this while my wife and two kids were waiting to take our family minvan home. It was suppose to be a fun family day and she turned it into a nightmare and a horror show. I spoke to the manager and demanded that the warranty be removed and they immediately retract it. In the contract it does say you can cancel the warranty within sixty days. They said they were sorry for the situation but would have to talk to Laura. Basically she did everything she could to get what she wanted at all cost. She didn't care about anything accept getting her share of my familys money. Basically I would have paided 2500 dollars for a policy that she said cost 700 dollars or three dollars a month!! xx So my advice is not to do business with baron because obviously its a pattern and part of there business practice! Take as much money as they can of yours at any cost! More
