I was carrying out competitive bidding with various dealerships for a new Honda Fit and this was the only Honda dealership on Long Island, that made me call back, then proceeded to not give me any last dealerships for a new Honda Fit and this was the only Honda dealership on Long Island, that made me call back, then proceeded to not give me any last names and then told me they "don't do business this way" in a rude and un-customer friendly way. Every other dealer was willing to email or call back and give me a price. Funny that I also had a call with their elevator music playing on my cellphone as a message...not sure what that was about. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. More

I've purchased a few cars from other Long Island dealers in the past 15 years. I have never been treated this well in my past buying experiences. I NEVER thought the owner of the entire place would come out in the past 15 years. I have never been treated this well in my past buying experiences. I NEVER thought the owner of the entire place would come out and personall greet me and thank me for my business. Baron Honda gave me a fantastic price on a 2011 Honda Accord, almost $1000 better then ANY long island competitor!!! My salesman was William Krooss-Tadas and he took over an hour to show me how to use my navigation system as well as pair my cellphone right to the stereo system and when I was confident in my abillity to work all the driver controls and drove away. He called me on my newly installed bluetooth system just to say hi and confirm my understanding of the controls. They've already scheduled me a free 1,000 mile service and my first and second oil changes are ON THE HOUSE thanks to Ron Baron who came out and personally handed me the coupons. In all my years purchasing cars I have NEVER been treated so special inside a car dealership. Nobody was pushy, everybody was helpful and I sincerely hope that anybody looking for a Honda in Nassau or Suffolk county finds their way to Baron Honda. Thanks a million guys!!! More
I initially bought my car from this dealership and have had it serviced regularly there. Time and time again, the men would try and upsell me on things for my car that I wouldn't even need. The latest time had it serviced regularly there. Time and time again, the men would try and upsell me on things for my car that I wouldn't even need. The latest time I went to get my oil changed, they came back to me with a list of things I needed to get done totalling $800! I decided to go get a second opinion to see if I needed all the work done that Baron Honda was proposing. Turns out I didn't need ANY of the work done. Plus, the mechanics at Baron put my directional tires on backwards! To make matters worse, the men at the desk were hitting on me in front of my boyfriend which was very rude and unnecessary. I would neve. Go back there again or trust their expertise. Overall experience with them has been very shady. More

I was forced to file a police report when the dealership stole the plates from my car. We had them tow our disabled vehicle so they could appraise it, but got mad when we decided to go with another dealers stole the plates from my car. We had them tow our disabled vehicle so they could appraise it, but got mad when we decided to go with another dealership. They removed the license plates and registration without my knowledge or permission. When I found this out, I called the salesman, David Burns, who told me he had nothing to do with it, and knew nothing about it. The person I should talk to was the used car manager, Tom Buttafuoco, who wasn't in that day. The next day I called Tom, who also had no knowledge and took no responsibility for what happened, blaming it on the tow company, but he did acknowledge that he had the plates. I told him I would be there the next day around 10:00 to get them. The next day, Tom, David, and the General manager are all not in. No one could take responsibility or help. The rude salesman at the door said they won't give me the plates back unless we call the police, so we were forced to report them stolen. I know that car shopping isn't usually pleasant, but if you're getting a Honda, I would look at another dealership. More
Jack Curran of Baron Honda was very friendly and made sure that we could drive our new Pilot off the lot within 24 hours. We had a couple of special considerations (military overseas move coming up) and sure that we could drive our new Pilot off the lot within 24 hours. We had a couple of special considerations (military overseas move coming up) and he helped us take care of them. I liked that we were allowed to thoroughly test-drive several vehicles and that there was no pressure or overdone sales pitch. The negotiations were quick and fair and we weren't pushed into buying some useless ad-ons or extras we don't need. I'd go back to Baron Honda for my next vehicle. More
Hi, I came into Baron Honda's dealership last month and for the most part I was pleased with the service I received. I was greeted promptly when I entered the car showroom. I was at another Honda dealer in for the most part I was pleased with the service I received. I was greeted promptly when I entered the car showroom. I was at another Honda dealer in Smithtown where nobody came up for me for a long time, finally I had to ask the manager in the middle for assistance so I'm happy to report a much better beginning @ Baron. I was greeted by the salesman who sits right by the door Bob. He was friendly and courteous. I told him I was given a better deal at another Honda dealership which wasn't actually true (i'd gotten the same deal) but I wanted to see how much better I could get. Bob went back to the manager and got me a much better deal. Or so I thought. He gave me the price with "destination" and I was happy with it b/c it was still a few hundred dollars lower then my best offer. But then he told me he'd have to get the car driven to him from another dealer. At the beginning he promised me the car i wanted was in stock and i could have it the same day but he said he'd made a mistake and could have it in a few days. He was nice about it and apologized and then guaranteed my car by a certain day and I accepted the deal and left a deposit. When he called me to tell me the car was in I came down to "sign the papers". He said all i had to do was "sign the papers" and it was mine. He never told me that I didn't qualify for the interest rate that he had promised me a few days earlier and I honestly believe he really had no idea. The finance manager was very nice, she explained to me that I would've been given the same interest rate at the other Honda dealer b/c it's illegal to give one dealer a different rate than another. I understand that but I wish someone would have told me before I came in to just "sign the papers". Like o just innocently "sign the papers"...everything's as i promised....but it wasn't. My payment was $50 a month higher then Bob had promised and to be honest I feel like he really didnt have any idea what he was talking about. He believed me when I told him that I'd gotten a better deal and got his manager to lower the price even with his destination charge. He seemed desperate for the sale and would've promised me his first born if I'd asked. Shame on me for taking him by his word. The word of a salesman. Well I wont be making that mistake again. He even had the audacity to ask me to go on this website to give him a good remark and tell Honda he did a good job when they called me. Well I've already spoken to Honda and told them what I thought so now I'm on here explaining to potential buyers who to stay away from. I plan on keeping this car until the wheels fall off so I wont have to deal with the car buying experience for quite some time. One dealer didn't even wanna help me and the other was so desperate to that they over promised and sounded like idiots. My advice? move to NYC where you don't need a car! They're all the same! More
I initially emailed my local dealers (4 in all )and everyone came in around the same price give or take 300 dollars. However Joe and Tony were the first to contact me and stayed in contact everyday. Th everyone came in around the same price give or take 300 dollars. However Joe and Tony were the first to contact me and stayed in contact everyday. They respected my wishes to not be called instead I called them to let them know i would be coming in to test drive. Both gentlemen were very helpful and professional and I was never held and forced to buy now! I did stop by Atlantic and Nardy Honda as well and I did not get the same pleasant experience there to say the least. I felt like a number at those dealerships and before I even left I knew where I was making my purchase. Thanks Joe and Tony for keeping the personal touch and making this car purchase the most pleasant one by far.~ regards Lisa More
I am very happy with my new car and the pleasant shopping experience at Barron Honda working with my Salesman Bob. Bob impressed me with his professionalism, his knowledge, and his customer care. I felt th experience at Barron Honda working with my Salesman Bob. Bob impressed me with his professionalism, his knowledge, and his customer care. I felt that Bob worked with me to make an amicable deal. I did visit other dealerships including Nardy where I was offered the tired bait and switch routine. I walked out of there as quickly as possible. I will recommend Bob and Barron Honda to my friends and I will seek out Bob when it is time for me to purchase another car. More
