Will Combs was, by far, the nicest salesman I’ve ever dealt with. He isn’t pushy but is really knowledgeable about his cars. I returned a second time to look at the car in the daylight since I test drov dealt with. He isn’t pushy but is really knowledgeable about his cars. I returned a second time to look at the car in the daylight since I test drove it at dusk, and he welcomed me back. He didn’t seem to mind how many questions I had or how often I called him. Will made the buying process easy, not at all like other car salesmen I’ve met over the years. I would definitely do business with him again, and I’m thankful he works at Baron Honda. Thank you, Will! More

In less then 100 miles of driving (5 days approximately) the tire developed a bubble where the tread and sidewall meet. I called Baron Honda to see if there was any sort of warranty. They immediately told me it was my fault and could not possibly be a defect or their fault. They replaced the tire for full replacement cost. I contacted the tire manufacturer, Firestone, and they said the tire would need to be inspected and that the tires have a 65,000 mile warranty. Baron Honda didn’t even offer to instruct the tire. It was 100% my fault from the start More
I work with almost a hundred dealers in the Northeast and honestly Phil is probably the easiest person to deal with. He offered great service and went the extra mile to get to the price point I wanted. I rec honestly Phil is probably the easiest person to deal with. Bought a used 2015 F150 pickup at baron Honda. Not only was the buying experience disorganized it was by far the worst I've ever had at any car dealer. Been back three times for warranty repairs. First tim was the buying experience disorganized it was by far the worst I've ever had at any car dealer. Been back three times for warranty repairs. First time used the emergency brake the emergency brake stayed engaged even after it was released. Brought it back twice to get them to repair it correctly. Latest round they couldnt find anything wrong with the truck stalling upon stopping at a traffic light etc. The service managers responce to me was that they arent ford technicians. When I informed him that the vehicle was purchased at their dealer I was told to call the sales dept. Not sure if they treat all customers this way . They basically suck at what they do. The moron service manager oviously doesnt understand the word SERVICE! More
All I have to say is what an experience. If you are looking for trust worthy, honest and a committed team this is the place. I was so nervous and I had been several places prior to this one. I recently had my second experience with Baron Honda and could not be more please the way it was handled . We went in looking for an HRV for my sister . we spoke with Joe ( salesman) and Dominic the manager could not be more please the way it was handled . We went in looking for an HRV for my sister . we spoke with Joe ( salesman) and Dominic the manager and they listened to our need. Joe showed us the car and worked out the numbers to help us . we picked up the car the next day with no issues whatsoever and we are again very happy with the way we were treated and the car . I am not sure why there are negative reviews about this dealer becouse not only my family but friends of ours have had nothing but a good experience with them More
I was greeted promptly and courteously. Proper precautions were used throughout the facility and my time spent there. The sales staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable of their products and there was no pressure in the sales process, they listened to what I was looking for and provided just that. They arranged for a test drive and even arranged for a second test drive when I brought my wife back later in the day. One of the things that impressed me the most was when it came time to sign the paperwork the price was exactly as discussed, no hidden fees, pressure to add this, that or the other thing on, thigs were offered for my consideration but ZERO pressure to buy. I would highly recommend Dustin and Baron Honda. More
I don't have great credit. They didnt treat me like a second class citizen as I have at another used car lot. They do take awhile to find the best finance terms for u so expect to be there awhile. I love second class citizen as I have at another used car lot. They do take awhile to find the best finance terms for u so expect to be there awhile. I loved Alex honesty and genuineness. I didnt feel like he was trying to "sell" me a vehicle. Joe in finance was also very patient and polite. Jenna answered all my questions quickly. I used to buy used cars in Craigslist because of my bad credit. It feels so good to walk out with a pre-owned but like new Honda HRV. More
My experience with Baron Honda was very disappointing for the fact that they did a bait-and-switch scheme with different color model from the one promised to us all the way up until to the delivery. Much of the fact that they did a bait-and-switch scheme with different color model from the one promised to us all the way up until to the delivery. Much of the process was also frustrating. I’m a first time car buyer, so I was pretty nervous about being scammed, given what I’ve heard about this industry over the many years. We were looking for a car to be able to visit friends and family, and provide some relief from being in NYC because of the COVID. We were looking for a 2020 Honda Civic EX-L hatchback in Sonic Pearl Gray. I contacted Jenna (Jen) Goldstein. I accidentally sent her a link for another NJ dealership in the color Aegean Blue Metallic, but I figured she would know which was the correct link for her own dealership. She corrected herself for thinking it was another customer with "same car for their husband but in Aegean blue." She reassured me it was the Sonic Gray Pearl EX-L. I was still waiting on her financing offer over the long weekend and was worried if we would get the car on Tuesday. Then on Tuesday morning, the day of the scheduled delivery, Tony tells me that his drivers are out that day and the delivery will be tomorrow. This severely inconvenienced my work and personal plans that I had made. On top of this, he clarified that the lower financing was not allowed with my model. He said I could do a wire transfer but it could take 3 business days. "If you can get the check in hand it can be done tomorrow. Otherwise we have to wait until the funds are in our account which can take 3 business days.” Many branches were closed because of COVID. This seemed unnecessary. I called my loan officer and confirmed that Baron Honda is a preferred dealer with my bank and it should just be a “sign and drive.” After sharing this, Tony offers me a slightly lower rate if I come to do the dealership in person and sign electronically. I asked, why can’t it be online if it’s electronic? He gave no reason other than it’s the only way. He said it’s just an offer to save me money when it really was to save him money on the delivery costs. I wasn’t going to pay to rent a car or cab. I declined. The next morning, he texts me and says, “Before the driver leaves I just want to be certain of the color. Should be dark gray?” Jenna also messages me and says the car is ready, and sends a picture of the car in POLISHED METAL METALLIC. I call her immediately and tell her this is not the correct color. She then blames her mistake on me for accidentally sending her an incorrect link I mentioned earlier, which didn’t make any sense because that car was in Aegean Blue Metallic from a random NJ dealership! Wow. I tell her this is absolutely unprofessional and frustrating that they still haven’t gotten it correct right before sending their driver. She texts me after, “I understand your frustration I do again want to apologize for all the miscommunication on my part and for Tony I am not a salesperson but I have been trying my best to make sure everything has gone smoothly for you.” Either this is a bait and switch, or they are incompetent in their communication, which I don't believe. They know what they’re doing. Maybe the had the 2 Sonic Gray Pearl models like they claimed, but other customers offered a higher price, so they went with them instead of my negotiated price. Or maybe they just wanted to target me for another reason. I’ll never know. We settled on the Polished Metallic Metal. It was the only one they had left they said and we really needed the car as soon as possible. They probably knew this and took advantage of it. The delivery and signing went smoothly, surprisingly. (No check needed!) The car was clean and functional. We’re just happy to have a car, despite all our plans being pushed back that week. I wouldn't buy from Baron Honda again or recommend them. I’m glad this incredibly frustrating experience is over. Hopefully, I don’t have to purchase a car again for a long time. More
