The Barnes Crossing car lot was very helpful for my family and I. Traded our older car for a new red 2012 Hyundai. Tim Tanner stuck with us the entire time.. Along with our two kids lol. This is the 2nd vehicle we have bought from Tim. Both experiences have been outstanding. Both times we have told him what we're looking for, he pulls around the exact match, we process the paperwork and experiences have been outstanding. I purchased a 2006 Chevy Equinox from Barnes Crossing Hyundai on 03/12/2012, via Chace Garrison. I have had nothing but problems with the vehicle since purchase, and poor customer service from Barnes Cro Hyundai on 03/12/2012, via Chace Garrison. I have had nothing but problems with the vehicle since purchase, and poor customer service from Barnes Crossing, at best. On Monday around 1130 AM I arrived at Barnes Crossing with the intention of purchasing a used SUV for the purpose of traveling and needing more room for three children; I left there around 1 PM after paying $1000 down and the promise of my vehicle being ready for pick up around 6 or 630 PM the same business day. While looking at this vehicle Chace informed me that nothing was wrong with this vehicle and he would stand behind it; also, that it was a 4 cylinder which meant it would get better gas mileage than a trailblazer. We agreed that any repairs that needed to be made would be done so after an assessment by the service department. We also agreed that the oil would be changed, it would have two new front tires, and a new inspection sticker. I called around 530 PM to confirm that my vehicle was ready for pick up and spoke with two ladies; one in service and one in sales and both confirmed my vehicle was ready for pick up. I drove from Pontotoc to Tupelo to find that my vehicle was in fact not ready for pick up and still on the rack. It couldn't even be shown to my husband. We discussed our dis-satisfaction with Chase then and asked him to commit to a time that the vehicle would be ready the following day. Chase assured us that it would be ready around 10 AM Tuesday and dropped of at my office. At 1045 Am the following day the vehicle finally arrived at my office. At 11 AM my family and I went to lunch about 3 miles from my office; when we returned to the parking lot of my office we noticed the check engine light was on, the mileage indicator was not working properly, the key remote was not functioning, and the auxiliary power outlets were not working. I immediately called Chase whom informed me that I needed to speak with service to "schedule" a time to bring the vehicle in for maintenance. I informed him that I was at work and did not have time to be troubled yet again. I had to ask him if it was possible for them to bring me another vehicle and pick this one up.I asked my husband to call and speak with the General Manager about this and he was told he was not in and spoke with Steve. Steve nonchalantly assured him that all of this would be taken care of and would not give an estimated time of completion because he did not want to rush the service department to ensure everything was completed correctly this time. When the courier arrived with the replacement vehicle I gave him a list of the things that were stated earlier and both of the key remotes and keys. I was told to drive the replacement vehicle until I was called saying my vehicle was ready. Late Tuesday evening I received a call from Chace via my cell phone stating that the vehicle would possibly be ready Wednesday morning. I had not received a call by 1 PM Wednesday so I called to follow up on the status of my vehicle. Chase said that the vehicle was still not ready and that they may have to order a part and it could take a little longer just to continue to drive the replacement vehicle until mine was repaired completely. About thirty minutes later Chace called me to let me know that the vehicle was ready and everything had been corrected and replaced that needed to be. The courier arrived with my vehicle but only arrived with one key and remote. I told the gentleman I wanted both of the keys and remotes that were given to him when he picked up my vehicle for repairs. He called Chace and Chace called me letting me know he had my key and remote in his pocket and would bring it to my office. Today is Thursday March 15th, 2012 and this morning I noticed the mileage indicator is not working properly again. I have actually had my vehicle a total of thirty one hours since my purchase on March 12th, 2012. My family and I have had a trip planned out of town for about two weeks now and this purchase was to make sure that we arrived safely and comfortably. At 9 PM tonight while leaving Wal-Mart in Pontotoc the check engine light is on yet again. Chace provided me with a personal business card the day I purchased my vehicle which included his cell phone number; I called Chace to inquire about the General Manager's (William Cody)cell phone number. He told me to hold while he got that for me then returned to ask who I was. When I told him my name he asked if there was a problem and I said yes and he informed me he was not allowed to give out that number. This was my first finance alone and I feel as if I have been taken advantage of and that because my purchase was a used $8000 vehicle that the dealership does not care about any of my concerns or dissatisfaction. More

My experience at Barnes Crossing Hyundai Mazda was excellent! I was promptly greeted by a salesman as soon as I arrived. Tim was very persistent in trying to met what we thought was a fair deal and was able to do so. We are very happy with our new Tucson.
