My wife and I went to the dealership with the intent to purchase a Nissan Leaf that had just arrived (in fact, we had license plates for it in the car). Salesman was pleasant and the test drive went well. Then we sat down to discuss price......and things went wrong from there. They tacked $3,000 onto the MSRP. They refused to accept a Nissan Corporate credit we had been provided with. They did not apply the State of Connecticut CHEAPR* credit for electric vehicles, a $2,250 grant that should have been viewed as a payment. In total, they upped the price about $7,600, pushing the vehicle cost over $40,000. I asked the salesman why the CHEAPR credit hadn't been applied. He called the sales manager, who told him "that is only for lease cars". Wrong. I double-checked the State's web-site and it is for new purchase, lease, and used vehicles. The Leaf is a nice car but they've managed to put it in the price ball-park of a low-end Tesla. Sad to say, it isn't a Tesla. We left the dealership. We had, years ago, purchased a Maxima hassle-free from this dealership and I was expecting the same. Needless to say my wife and I were disappointed with our experience this time. *CHEAPR - a great program from the State of Connecticut for fully electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The program is even more generous if you are already enrolled in one of a number of income verified State programs. More

This statement is being made with the understanding that due to Covid several things are out of your control and other dealerships are effected as well: *Unfortunately a limited amount of cars were avail due to Covid several things are out of your control and other dealerships are effected as well: *Unfortunately a limited amount of cars were available to the customer to test drive or request. *You are unable to have a CD Player which is crucial to me. I have a car full of brand new CDs I cannot play or return and this makes me very unhappy. *You are unable to have a GPS which is crucial to me. *The Altima does not come with the tire guard to keep you from scrapping your tires on curb like the Sentra. The Sentra, Altima and Maxima should all come with the same features even if it has to be on the high end. Kenneth did explain to me how to make the GPS work and how to substitute the CD by downloading music but I am “Old School” and prefer using what I am use to, the CD Player and GPS. Other than that More

Service was timely. I am glad I didn't have to wait several hours. The lounge is comfortable, and I like the way technicians wash and vacuum my car. several hours. The lounge is comfortable, and I like the way technicians wash and vacuum my car. More
