I bought my car from Banks, so was very surprised with the way I was treated. I was on the road Tuesday, October 3 when my engine light came on, and my engine started to lose power. I called Banks and was the way I was treated. I was on the road Tuesday, October 3 when my engine light came on, and my engine started to lose power. I called Banks and was told October 18 was the first appointment available. I could bring it in, they would diagnose the problem, but no service. He asked if my car was drivable- it was moving but at reduced power. I made an appointment for the 18th wondering what I was going to do and possibly having car towed. On star gave me a code showing a problem that needed immediate attention. Luckily I was near my son’s residence. I called another Chevrolet garage where I was treated very differently. Customer service was great and the waiting room was very comfortable. It was the most expensive oil change I’ve ever gotten so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to afford to return, but that’s not on comfortable. My 2017 CT6 had a problem with the transmission fluid. Since this was a known problem with this fluid, why does GM wait to address this until the issue arises.
