Banister Nissan of Norfolk

First, I have bought 5 total vehicles from Banister and have had several family in friends, 4 in all, buy from Banister on my recommendation. I’ve always been happy with them but my recent sales experience have had several family in friends, 4 in all, buy from Banister on my recommendation. I’ve always been happy with them but my recent sales experience is bad. I was flat out lied to and none of the the discounts or KBB values were honored. I was in a pickle and needed a vehicle so I signed a good deal but was lied to on additional discounts I was eligible for even when I showed them the discounts. 1. $1000 buyer down payment assistance not honored 2. I was charged $899 for the Banister Lifetime Warranty which is supposed to be no charge to customer 3. I showed an email and text showing $2500 over KBB for trade, they didn’t honor it! None of this was honored, none. I didn’t raise a stink because I thought I was getting a good deal yet I was actually told false information. Now o know it was false and contacted them, to date no reply! I am highly disappointed in Banister. This is my fifth purchase from Banister, 4 from Chesapeake and this one from Norfolk. More

Both sales and service are bad at this location. I Purchased a vehicle 10months ago and noticed an issue. I did take it to service team they are not able to figure out the issue for almost 9month I Purchased a vehicle 10months ago and noticed an issue. I did take it to service team they are not able to figure out the issue for almost 9months and now they figured it’s a manufacturing issue related to some airbag component.They ordered a part and don’t know how long it will take to deliver and to fix the issue. After 4 months in of purchasing the car I had to tow my vehicle to dealer ship and they had to replace the battery. I have a bad feeling from the day one of the purchase that the. Hold quality of the vehicle and also the service will be bad. Not sure why I purchased this vehicle especially at this location. I regret it every day and a lesson learned. I hope my review helps some one if they read before purchasing a Nissan vehicle and also avoid going to banister dealership. Working with them smoothly is almost impossible be it sales or service.
