My 2015 Ford Fusion was towed to this dealership almost 2 mos ago, still has not been repaired, and is nondrivable. I was told the part was on backorder. However, Banister Ford claims to be committed to its customers satisfaction and takes pride in it's customer service. Unfortunately, this has been a horrific experience for me since I have no vehicle at all to drive and the service team at Banister Ford, Marlow Hgts, MD does not seemed to care enough about discussing some type of accommodation. Brought my 2019 Expedition to the dealership to diagnose the check engine/Misfire issue that was presented. After the diagnosis, was complete, I was told that it's an issue (spark plugs and coils replaceme the check engine/Misfire issue that was presented. After the diagnosis, was complete, I was told that it's an issue (spark plugs and coils replacement) which I had done by Bannister just under two years prior. The work is guaranteed up to 12k miles, and I was just under 300 miles beyond. What I find frustrating is I had the initial work done there and now I find myself having to pay for them to do it again. I understand the limits of warranty work and wouldn't expect for certain items to be covered forever, but it doesn't resonate with the 'We care about our loyal customers and their satisfaction' message that Ford and this dealership put out there. Ultimately, it doesn't come accross as Bannister and by extension Ford, truly stand behind the quality of their work or I wouldn't have to pay for this service twice in less than 2 years. Also, the vehicle was purchased brand new in December 2019 so now that I've had to have this corrected twice since I've owned it, I'm now concerned that either the quality of the work is not what it is professed to be or there is a defective issue that I as the customer will have to continue fixing. I own two Ford vehicles (2019 Expedition and 2019 Explorer) and exclusively reserve all service to be performed for Bannister as a show of customer loyalty, however it doesn't seem that I get that type of response as evidenced by this action. After accepting that I had no other option but to pay for the service repair again, I was also informed that Bannister Ford now charges a 3% fee for using a credit card. Basically, Bannister has decided that unless it's cash or debit, the cost of using the most widely utilized manner of money transaction in the world should now be passed onto to it's valued customers. I was contemplating purchasing a Ford F150, however with my most recent experience, I'm very dissapointed and am very unlikely to give more of my money towards the purchasing of another Ford vehicle, which ultimately will decrease my need for servicing in the future. More

Banister Ford is quite attentive in correcting the problems with the vehicle identified by the customer. The timeliness in making the repairs is excellent upon making an appointment.
