I took my truck in to have the breaks and the front struts looked at. After waiting for a day and a half I called the shop and was told that both front calipers were bad and there was nothing wrong wit struts looked at. After waiting for a day and a half I called the shop and was told that both front calipers were bad and there was nothing wrong with the strut. I was also told that I was missing the cap for the master cylinder which I new was a lie. So long story short once I called to find all this out I argued that the calipers that are on the truck are already fairly new and the bushing on the struts are dry rotted and falling apart. Once I explained to the lady that for one I was 100% positive the struts needed bushings and the cap was on when I brought it in and that the original issues I am having with the breaks would not be caused by there explanation of the calipers I just decided to get my truck and not allow them to do the work which was going to cost me almost 2000 dollars by the way. I got my key and payed there diagnostic fee and walked out to leave. But before I got in the truck I popped the hood just to see if the cap really was missing and found that the cap was laying on the engine block and was broken. So I walked back inside with the broken cap on my had and wanted an explanation of why it was broken and I was told that there wasn’t one when the truck arrived. Need less to say they would not take responsibility for breaking the cap and proceeded to try to sell me a new one. So a simple issue which they could not in there own words positively identify turned into trying to sell me parts I didn’t need (calipers and the entire strut not just bushings), breaking a cap denying it, and trying to talk me into doing other things to the truck like timing belt oil change and so on that I never asked them to look at in the first place. I’ve taken my stuff to Toyota for years and payed extra in doing so because I want it done right but after the experience I just had I will never go back to Ballentine Toyota again. More

The service representatives did not listen to what I had to say and they became very defensive as I presented them with the problem I was having. More
