Rear hatch & rear passenger door rust had completely blistered through the metal. Upon contact with the general manager about the matter no interest in fixing the matter was expressed. After sending a detailed email about the matter (with photos) they would not even respond back. This vehicle should have been wholesaled out, sent to an auction, not sold off a Toyota dealership lot. I believe it does not meet minimum standards for a Toyota dealership. I am forwarding this information to Toyota Motor Corp. More
I had heard through the grapevine to NOT go to Belise Toyota but because it was so close to my home I went anyway. I felt very pressured to make a purchase even though I was very clear that I was just s Toyota but because it was so close to my home I went anyway. I felt very pressured to make a purchase even though I was very clear that I was just starting my search for a new car. I left feeling as though I had just completely wasted their time. The sales person seemed to want nothing to do with me after I said that I would not be making a purchase that evening...mind you it was the first car from my list that I looked at. Needless to say, I made the 1 hour trip to another Toyota dealership that were both professional, friendly and ultimately ended up with my sale. I would not recommend Belise Toyota to family and friends that were starting their car search. More
I thought I found my perfect car, a 2008 RAV4 with low mileage and I was able to negotiate down to a very reasonable price. I was happy, gave them a check in full that Sunday, the first weekend of the mo mileage and I was able to negotiate down to a very reasonable price. I was happy, gave them a check in full that Sunday, the first weekend of the month. Because I was from MA, which does not allow for temporary plates, I had to wait a few days so they could get it registered for me. So, even though I paid in cash and walked out empty handed that day, I was excited to come back the following Saturday to get my great new car. Four days later, they called and said they did not have the title to the car, it was still tied up with the previous owner's lienholder, and it was going to be 10 to 12 more days before they could get the title. I was so upset, because I did not realize they sold me a car without a title! I now know that dealerships are not supposed to sell a car without a title -- or at the very least, they are supposed to have full disclosure at the time of sale. It took them 4 days to inform me of this, and in the meantime, they have my $23,000 in their bank and I have nothing! They did give me a rental car in the meantime, and made assurances that they would get the title hopefully within another week. I was willing to wait. When I called for an update, I got passed from one manager to another. Finally, I was told it would be the end of the month before they got the title. Nearly a full month after the initial purchase for which they have had all my money! I demanded my money back at that point, which they agreed to, but it was still a full week later before they gave me my check. Nothing but run-arounds, delays, false promises, and dishonesty. At the very least, they should have disclosed to me about the title from the get-go and taken only a deposit until the car had a clear title. But one arrogant manager by the name of Pete insisted that the price I negotiated was only good for that very day, kind of a take-it-or-leave-it situation. I made two big mistakes that day - I didn't ask to see the title before writing out the check, and I went forward with giving them all my money even though a deposit should have been acceptable until the car was clear to go. My mistakes, I admit. But that does not excuse how they conducted business with me, stringing me along for nearly three weeks. Now I must start all over again in my search for a car. But I will not be doing business with Balise Toyota of Warwick ever again, and I recommend that you stay away as well. More
the first time I went there they let me wait almost 30 min(4-5 salesman were sitting there), but nobody come; eventhough I told to the frontdesk. So I got angry then left Balise in Warwick. My husband and I enjoy our 2009 Yaris. It gives quite a ride. I also want to comment on the people that work at Balise in Warwick. They were all very kind, polite and willing to work with us to get the p ride. I also want to comment on the people that work at Balise in Warwick. They were all very kind, polite and willing to work with us to get the price we wanted for this car. The only problem we had with this was the process. It was a bit long, (4 to hours)to be exact. Thats from the time of looking for the car to working out the insurance before you take the car home. If you could narrow down the long process you will be perfect. Thanks again Ted and Javal for all your help in getting us this new and beautiful car. Mrs Susanne Balstad More
