I decided to purchase a new minivan late March of 2012 after finally saying farewell to my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, which I had purchased new from Bald Hill Dodge in Warwick,RI. I had been in the mar after finally saying farewell to my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, which I had purchased new from Bald Hill Dodge in Warwick,RI. I had been in the market for a new Toyota minivan, specifically the 2012 Toyota Sienna. Instead of going back to Bald Hill Dodge and purchase another Dodge/Chrysler minivan (I've never had an issue with my previous 05 Grand Caravan), I decided to go check out Balise as I was told by a friend of mine that currently works in the Service department, to come check out her company's dealership. Without hesitating, I scheduled an appointment, and came in the same day to look at a 2012 Sienna at your Warwick, RI location. I knew I was definitely going to buy a new minivan, but was going to shop around first (as would anyone, in this day and age). It was a typical busy, end of the month Sunday at your location so it took about 15-20 minutes for me to get paired up with a salesperson, which wasn't a problem at all. After I was paired with a salesperson we went and test drove several trims of the Sienna. There was a limited supply of Sienna's (in the color and trim I liked) at this location but I decided to work with the salesperson. When we finally decided on a specific vehicle, it was not available in the color I had wanted, so I was given the option of getting it shipped from a different location. No biggie. Then we began discussing a price for the vehicle. Instead of my salesperson going back and worth continuously with one of the financial managers, one of the financial managers came and spoke to me directly. He tried to sway me to purchase the color they had at their location, so I agreed but asked if they could reduce the price since Sky Silver wasn't the color of my choice, as I wanted the Predawn Mica Grey. Then the financial manager began to accuse me of calling him a "liar", when I had never implied this at all, or even said anything close to that. He began to say that he would rather not sell any vehicle to me because he doesn't like being called "a liar". I was ready to purchase a vehicle that day as I had the down-payment with me, but when he told me he doesn't want to sell me any vehicle, I said thank you to him and left the dealership. Before I left my salesperson said that if I changed my mind and wanted the vehicle at that price, to give him a call. The next morning, I received a call from Balise Warwick RI from a lady that apologized for the misunderstanding and disrespect from the financial manager yesterday, and encouraged me to come back and talk to the General Manger. Although I didn't want to, after the lack of respect I received yesterday from the financial manager, I decided to give Balise another chance. The next afternoon, I went to Balise and the receptionist (also an old friend of mine that was surprised to see me) talked to the General Manager, William Comastro and he invited me into his office. The General Manager was very kind and polite at first and apologized for the behavior of his financial manager, reassuring me that he wanted my business. He assigned me a new salesperson (Anthony), who was very polite and considerate. My wife and I, went with Anthony to take another look at the Silver 2012 Sienna, and decided that we would just take the vehicle in this color variation. We went back into the General Manager's office and began to discuss the pricing. I asked for the best pricing that he could give me and the GM told me $32,200. I had told him, that I came in yesterday and I was given $31,500 by the financial manager and my salesperson. He went and talked with the financial manager. He returned and told me that the price is no longer valid. I told him that my salesperson and told me to give him a call tomorrow if I wanted the pricing. He apologized and said he cannot give me that pricing. He then said he would do $32,000 and then when I had told him I cannot do $32,000 when they had quoted me $31,500 yesterday, he said he could do $31,750 at the absolute lowest. I asked William what the pricing for a factory Toyota remote starter was and he called the Service dept. and gave me a price of $695. I said that I would do the $32,000 if they would include the remote starter for free. William called up Service once again and asked for the cost to the company for the remote starter. After writing down something on the paper, he agreed to the $32,000 pricing and we shook hands and made the deal the same exact day. I filled up all the finance documents and took delivery of the vehicle that same day, April 1, 2012. Unfortunately, William told me that the Service Dept. was closed and they would have to install the remote starter another time. So I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, April 3rd. When I came in that day I asked the Service representative if there would be a separate key fob for the remote starter and she said, yes, since this was a aftermarket remove starter. She told me that only factory remote starters have the remote starter built into the original key. Surprised, I asked her how much the factory starter was and she had told me $695. I told her that it must have been a mistake and it should be a factory remote starter that needs to be installed, not aftermarket. She said, I would need to speak to my salesperson regarding this. So I immediately looked for Anthony, but was unable to find him, due to him being in school that day. I found the General Manager I spoke to yesterday, William and he greeted me and asked how the vehicle was. After I had told him that the Service Dept. said they were told to install an aftermarket remote starter, and that we agreed yesterday to a Toyota factory remote starter, he said no. And began to tell me that they are the same thing. He told me that if I really wanted to have a factory remote starter installed, I would have to pay $695 additional to what I paid yesterday. I told him that we had agreed on a factory remote starter, and that was not part of the deal. Frustrated, I even said I would pay the difference between the aftermarket and factory remote starter, and he replied, "No, we are done with this conversation. The deal is already made". While I was talking to him he, disrespectfully walked away in the middle of our conversation. I was absolutely disgusted at his level of respect. I decided that day that I would never buy another vehicle from Balise again, as this General Manager tricked me into purchasing the vehicle. I was going to purchase another vehicle for my daughter after I had purchased the van, but after the way William Comastro rudely walked away in the middle of the conversation, I will NEVER buy a vehicle from Balise again. I am sorry to say this. I know you've done a lot to make this company what it is today, but the way William treated me, I can never recommend Balise to anyone and will instead tell them to shop somewhere else. I apologize for this long comment, but I felt you should know this. More

Vehicle I traded in ended up on their used car lot with the odometer rolled back. Pity anyone that buys any of their used cars. If you bought a use car there, contact previous owners as carfax doesn't show all! Had vehicle in for a timing belt service. Since it was 13 years old and 130k miles, I demanded that a complete timing belt kit(t-belt, crank/cam/valve cover...gaskets/seals, waterpump, idler/tensioner pulleys & spring....) be used. Of course, they cut corners and left out half of the new parts that I requested. Will never bring a car in for service there again. More
