I went online to research a new Sonada and get quotes. They called me the next day to set up a test drive. I thought why not, I'll get a better idea if this is the car I want. When I showed up at the appointment, Jeremy told me they didn't have that trim model on the lot. He then pushed me to get a different one that they had on the lot. When I said no, I wanted that trim model. He pushed for me to sign paperwork to commit to buying the car before he would see if he could locate it at a sister dealership. I then got up and started to leave, that's when he got Jason and the two of them tried to intimidate me into signing the paperwork. I will NEVER go to Balise again! More
I had a bad experience trying to get my car on the Hyundai Balise !! I agreed a 2.9% interest, the seller said he had reached 2.9%, I asked to see the final values of the negotiation during the wee Hyundai Balise !! I agreed a 2.9% interest, the seller said he had reached 2.9%, I asked to see the final values of the negotiation during the week and he did not give me the numbers, when I went to sign the papers the real number was 3.9%, I disagreed and the manager Jason was very badly educated with me and spoke some bad words !! The following week the general manager called me apologizing for the accident and we negotiated the purchase of the car in the face of the sincere apologies of the General Manager who really knows how to treat people differently from Manager Jason who was stupid !!! We bought the car, took the car on Tuesday 03/30 and the car showed problems with 4x4s as soon as we left the store at 6:30 pm, the next day on Wednesday 03/31 and returned the car to Hyundai at 9 : 30 am, I explained about the problem they said they were going to take the car to the garage to find out the problem !! I asked if in these cases they would have a spare car, since they had just bought the car and on the next day they no longer had the car !! They said that I would not be entitled to the spare car !!! I said that I wanted to undo the purchase of the car and they said that it would not be possible !!! During the week I called Balis Hyndai several times to get news of the car and they did not answer any calls, I made several calls during the week !!! Today I went to Hyundai Balise to find out what was going on with my car and again I was treated badly by Jason, the security cameras are proof of what he did, I asked where my car was at Balise Service, BMW service and they said that they didn’t know where my car was, it’s absurd that nobody has information about the car and doesn’t know what’s going on !!! I am very sad, because I was fulfilling a dream of my mother to have a new and good car and now we are facing a nightmare where the responsible of Hyundai has no information about the car that was returned to the store 13 hours after we got the car. car believing that we were making an excellent purchase !!! More
Went in for a lease. Test drove it and after the sales person said "so you want it?" After going through the particulars of the lease I put down a deposit, filled out a credit request, signed a bunch of person said "so you want it?" After going through the particulars of the lease I put down a deposit, filled out a credit request, signed a bunch of papers and was told to come back the next day to meet with the financial people to sign the rest of the paperwork. I was told to make sure I called my insurance company first thing in the morning to let them know I was getting a new car. Perhaps they should run your credit BEFORE they have you sign initial paperwork, put down a deposit and congratulate you! Called the next day and was told, oh sorry, we can't give you the car because of your credit. Bad bad policy to say Congrats and then the next day, say...never mind. I will never go to Balise again and suggest if you do, if your not sure about your credit, make sure they check it before they start shaking your hand and saying congratulations. More
This is an honest review of Balise Hyundai. Overall they are a dealership that I do not recommend. I bought a car back in May with the required 30 day warranty according to MA law. Within those 30 days the check engine light came on. I took it in to get repaired and they stated they fixed it. After a couple days of driving the check engine light came on again. They attempted to fix it 2 more times without success. They then wanted to buy the car back from me. Balise stated they are going to send a check to the financing company I used. They did not believe I was entitled to a refund of the down payment I paid when I bought the car. I believed under MA lemon laws that I should be refunded the full purchase price of the car. These conversations were with general manager David Cuesta. I can tell he is not trustworthy and is conniving trying to justify why the dealership deserves my money. There are a couple employees at Balise I would say are respectable but only a couple. I expected more from a dealership with a recognizable name. I did not want to go to court knowing that during Covid it would take many months. Since the dealership in the end did not refund all the money I believe I was entitled to my wife and I will never do business with Balise every again. I will also not advise my family, friends, and those reading this review to not shop at Balise. More

0 STARS!!! HORRIBLE!!! This review is for the service department as I had no experience with sales department. I took my car to Balise Hyundai to have recall work done on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata and I sta department as I had no experience with sales department. I took my car to Balise Hyundai to have recall work done on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata and I started having issues the minute I left the dealership. I’ve done the maintenance on the car for almost 10 years and have never had any issues, been very reliable. The FIRST time I take to the dealership where so called experts worked on it, it starts acting up. They did work on the brake system, and I felt the brakes dragging when driving home so I immediately turned around and went back to the dealership. They looked at it for maybe 2 minutes, said a tech forgot to turn something off and should be fine. Well it wasn’t. I went to start the car the next morning to go to work and it wouldn’t start. I called the dealership to see if they could help and they said I’d have to pay out of pocket to tow the car there, and IF they determined it was their fault, MAYBE they’d reimburse for the tow. I didn’t trust them at all to give an honest evaluation of the issue, much less reimburse for the tow, so I fixed it myself. Turns out they got some type of adhesive on the brake light switch when replacing the bumper on the brake pedal which engages the switch and that was causing it to stick. On top of that, they had not tightened it down properly and it was moving around a lot. So not only did they mess up my car, but they didn’t even have the decency to fix their mistake. What’s worse is Hyundai corporate called after I filed a complaint and the lady I spoke to thought it was a perfectly reasonable trade for me to pay for the tow and Hyundai covers the repair! Show’s the type of company they are. It’s a shame because up until now, I had a very good experience with my Hyundai. Unfortunately Balise Hyundai changed that. I will never buy another Hyundai nor will I recommend them to anyone. More
A completely disaster I went to lease a car at Balise Hyundai in Hyannis on February, 07 2020. After checking my credit and my wife’s credit, we were approved to get a 20 I went to lease a car at Balise Hyundai in Hyannis on February, 07 2020. After checking my credit and my wife’s credit, we were approved to get a 2020 Palisade SEL with a down payment of $5000. At the same day I gave them a Certified Check on that amount. We got the car insured And after 2 days waiting to sign the papers and get the car, we went back there and at the time we were closing the deal we were told that we would have to bring another $5000 to be able to get the car. After arguing about this whole mess, I gave up because it seemed that their financial guy didn’t know what’s he was doing (saying that because it took 2 hours to get the same car, one level up, and even a better deal thru the same bank at Hyundai in Plymouth) so I just asked for my money back. The manager said the office was closed and I would have to wait for the next morning. Next day nobody contact and when I went there I was told that I had to wait the check to be clear because they couldn’t take the chance of giving me a check and I would cancel the one I gave them. Are you serious? They can keep my money as long as they want after unprofessional services because they think I’m going to steal them? On top of that, its being over 6 days now and everyone knows it doesn’t take that long for a check to clear. A quick research will show you that a certified check clears in 48 hours. It’s not the case but, if that was the only 5K I had to put towards my new car, I would be stuck till the day it’s convenient for them to give my money back. I try to keep my business local but unfortunately we can’t. Gotta shop around. I’ve learned with this whole situation and I hope they do to because customer satisfaction is the best advertisement. One of my best friend was there before me and was going to get a similar car with them but not anymore after all this and this was just the first one. I just want my money back. Ps. Coby, the salesman, was amazing and I feel bad that his sales depends on such a bad financial rep. More
