Buying a new car can be both stressful and exciting. We were looking for a dealership to help us through this experience. Majestic Honda and Mike Monahan excelled at helping us. The car shopping and sale experience I received at Majestic Honda North in Lincoln had some negative and positive elements. I was satisfied with the price that I was able to negotiate on the used veh Majestic Honda North in Lincoln had some negative and positive elements. I was satisfied with the price that I was able to negotiate on the used vehicle that I bought. The salesman Brain Campbell figured out the alarm system that was already installed on the vehicle and made sure I knew how to work it before I left with the vehicle. Brain also made an effort to get to build a relationship with me, but may have focused on this alittle too much. I feel that Brian failed to spend enough time going through the vehicle with me and making sure that I knew what I wanted and what the vehicle had to offer. Honestly, in my opinion, most people shop for cars to get the car that they want, not to make a new friend down at the dealership that they will probably see every few years, at most. When initially arriving to the dealership, I was expecting them to be expecting me because I had make an appointment with the receptionist the prior day over the phone, obviously this did not happen. I was introduced to Brain and I feel that he "sized me up", as I look about 10 younger then I actually am. I asked Brain several times about the interest rate on the loan and he failed to find out specifically what it would be, even when signing the final paperwork. I was also irratated by the fact that there was another salesmen that was eating his lunch with his girlfriend/wife at the desk next to Brian's, who also seemed to "size me up" while I was signing the finally paperwork for my purchase. It wasn't even his desk and I would think that they would have a better area for employee breaks. The experience at Majestic Honda overall was not impressive and definitely needs improvement. I would probably go back to this dealership if they had a used car that interested me, but I wouldn't go back for the customer service. More
Mike Monahan was extremely professional, friendly and accommodating with my new vehicle purchase. He and Casey gave me a tremendous price on my new 2013 Accord LX and I also look forward to dealing with accommodating with my new vehicle purchase. I have 2 civics. Service always been prompt and on time, Fair prices also. Recently had spare keys a rear bumper applique applied. Only one minor problem. I went into the dealership on a Saturday knowing I wanted to lease a Civic or an Accord...Brian was very helpful and informative, and had what I would call a "no-nonsense" approach in dealing with me. I felt I was offered a fair price for leasing a quality car. I contacted Brian after the weekend to let let him know that I would be leasing a Honda from Majestic. The price that had been originally offered was the final price...this is very important to me, I do not appreciate a dealer offering a low, unrealistic price that suddenly changes when you return to the dealership to complete your business. Overall it was a very enjoyable, seamless business dealing, and I would recommend Majestic (and Brian) to people in the market for a car. More
I attempted to purchase $402.04 worth of parts from Majestic Honda and received an email THREE (3) days later explaining that I would have to pay an additional $65 for shipping, due to irregular shape Majestic Honda and received an email THREE (3) days later explaining that I would have to pay an additional $65 for shipping, due to irregular shape of freight. I called this morning to get an explanation of why the website calculated (or miscalculated) a shipping fee and then wanted to add $65. It seemed to me to be a flaw in the system, which would be their problem, not mine. The rude employee who took my call explained that if I would have read the website, I would have seen that the shipping may vary on certain products. I explained that I did read it, and that it said specific shipping would be calculated upon checkout. The rude employee then told me again, that if I would have read the website...The website that the company runs was wrong, I paid the amount that the software calculated. I was willing to pay the difference for the shipping until I was treated like a moron from the rude employee. I will now make it a point to let everyone I know in real life and through social media my horrible experience I had with this company to try and save them the hassle. After doing some shopping around, the price was high and the customer service is non-existent. Good luck with that company model!! Now I will be monitoring my account to make sure the funds are replaced. More
I had been to several dealers prior to visiting Majestic Honda. While browsing the selection in the lot, I was greeted by Brian Campbell. He was friendly and knowledgable without being pushy. I was looking at the Civics and he suggested a test drive. After the drive and talking with Brian I had made my decision. I got a very fair price for my trade in and overall deal. Brian and Majestic Honda made the whole experience easy and pain free. I walked in there a Toyota owner and walked out of there the same day a happy Honda owner. I would not hestitate to recommend Majestic Honda or Brian Campbell to anyone looking to buy a car. More
