Watch out for their used vehicles. I purchased a 2009 Accord from Balise with 44k miles on it, and what a heap of junk it was. Clutch burned out after driving it for 10k miles, that cost me $1600, then the gasket started leaking, had that fixed under warranty...3 months later still consuming oil had new gasket installed at another shop because BALISE mechanics didnt replace it properly. Replaced rear breaks because they were squeeking at 60k, started sqeeking again at 62k...rear breaks were shot. Engine still burning oil 2 months later had all 4 pistons replaced by honda.....i cant believe how many problems my car had... with all these problems you would think a dealership would stand by their product and try to work with me to fix the issues to you know...keep their buisness....nope not anything, and from the other ratings i can see that keeping their buisness is not a trend with Balise. Absolutely refused to help me with the clutch, blamed me right away for the cars problems, i have been driving stick shifts since i've had my license and i have never burned out a clutch in any of the vehicles i have owned. All in all i absolutely will not be going back, i have turned everyone away from balise dealerships that i have talked to. It has become me goal to take their buisness and make them go elsewhere because of their refusal to work with me, absolutely stay away from Balise and go to Lia honda in enfield. More
3rd Honda from Balise and will go back for our next car I previously bought a 2006 Pilot, then a 2008 Accord from Kim, who unfortunately is no longer there. No pressure, and worked with me to fit my budget. With a less-than-optimal credit score, I was hopeful that being a three-peat customer would help, and it definitely did. I went in Friday afternoon to trade in my Accord for a lease and signed all the paperwork that day. On Saturday when I went to pick up my new CR-V, I was pleasantly surprised when Shane (the financing manager I worked with) asked me back to his office to re-sign the papers. When Honda Financial Services found out I was getting a 3rd car through them, they lowered my payment even more and threw in free service for the life of the lease. I will definitely be back. More
Bad Service I had an appointment for a basic oil change. My Accord sat for first 45 minutes with no one working on it. It took a total of ONE HOUR and FIFTEEN MINUTES. 45 Minutes of waisting my time. I complained to the service rep and he said it was because of the multi point inspection. A bunch of bull. They changed the height of my seat and moved it all the way forward. If you look at the service reps it looks like they hate thier jobs. Miserable looking faces. I bought three Honda's from Balise and will not be buying any more from them. More
I was working with these dealership for a couple months and I was so excited when they found me a new Accord just the one I wanted that had been on the lot for a while and has 6k miles that they offered me and I was so excited when they found me a new Accord just the one I wanted that had been on the lot for a while and has 6k miles that they offered me a great deal to buy! I was so excited I went straight to the dealership and gave the a $500 check to hold the vehicle for me. They put a sold sign on it (it was in the showroom) and they told me they locked it. They assured me they wouldn't sell it to anyone else and that if someone else was interested in it they would call me first. The next morning my salesperson text me to tell me the General Manager said they had given me too good a deal and that he had just sold my car to someone else behind my back(for more money)! I realize I got a great deal but it is VERY BAD BUSINESS to give your word to someone and then do exactly what you said you wouldn't do. I felt very betrayed I had been working with this dealership for a long time and I thought they had my interests at heart they knew I had gone through hardship with Toyota involving legal proceedings but in the end all they cared about was MONEY. ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS ETHIC WHATSOEVER! More
I've purchased many cars from Balise Honda and have them serviced there regularly. Although I would not characterize them as inexpensive, the service has always been performed as promised and I have e them serviced there regularly. In addition, I recently had an engine misfire issue on my Odyssey and declarer performed a complete ring job of engine at no cost to me. I would definitely recommend them. More
My first honda was a 1998 honda accord v6 and absolutely fell in love with it. Since then me and wife have leased 3 Honda Pilots and a Honda Accord. The latest were a 2013 Honda accord EX and a 2013 Honda pilot touring that we leased on the same day from Balise Honda of West Springfield. 2 weeks ago I took my Honda accord for its first oil change to Balise Honda and the service rep told me that since it was my first service it is free of charge. I was not surprised since every vehicles that we purchased or leased so far (from a different dealership) the first service was always free. I was happy that Honda continues to extend the same services to its loyal customers. However 2 weeks later when I took my other vehicle the Pilot Touring for its first oil change I am told by the service rep that it is not free of charge.The rep told me " I like you, but not enough to pay for your services." Obviously I didn't want to speak to this guy anymore and asked to speak to the then sales person now a manager who sold us those cars. The manager listened to what I had to say and went to speak to the general manager. When he came back he told me that they had never had any program in past 7 years where the first service was free and if I got the service for free on my other car then I got "Lucked Out" and "someone will get in trouble" for doing that. I must pay for the 1st service on my Pilot. I felt totally dumb founded and humiliated. Still don't understand why they would do it for one car and couldn't do it for the other. Even if it is a mistake on their part why wouldn't they stand behind their mistake and honor what was promised to a loyal honda customer of many years. Is this how Honda training their managers? I left the store and didn't get any service done. I will probably continue to lease honda vehicles but one thing for sure; not from this dealer ever again. More
I have brought a few different vehicles in for service here in the past. I've always had a good experience with them. Employees are friendly, service wait times have never been bad. Had an excellent experience with Steve, the salesmen. Asked us what we were interested in. Showed us multiple cars with different options, finally settled on a 2012 civic. Steve was really there to help us, got us everything we asked for, more on the trade in and a we owe to fix some scratches. I truly believe he didn't see us as a pay check and wanted us to have a positive experience. Now my experience in the finance office was not as good a my experience with Steve. Shane was very rude to us when we declined buying some aftermarket warranty "you can't even afford 15 more dollars a month?". He didn't even bother trying to sell us a honda extended warranty which I was interested in. Be careful with Shane. He seemed like he wanted to hold me up by the ankles and shake the quarters out of my pocket. More

I would like to thank Larry Bass the General Manager, Miguel Humphrey in Car Sales , Tony in Parts, a purchase my 2nd S2000 from you at Balise Honda! I would like to thank Larry Bass the General Manager, Miguel Humphrey in Car Sales , Tony in Parts, and Terrence the Tech. Since the move from the old building the New Balise Honda has improved. It is like night and day I had a few problems years ago and told myself I would find a new Honda dealer and so came Lia double ouch!! So I met a Tech (Terrence) from Balise Honda and told him about my horror story about Balise many years ago and he assured me that the (new to me) Manager Larry Bass would take care of me. As I was running out of Honda places to purchase my vehicles. I decided to go and talk to Larry, I gave him my name and he told me that they told him my story and he would make sure that it would never happen again I was so suprised that after so many years they would take the time and do right by me! He introduced me to Miguel and believe it or not made up for what the Old Balise did to me. I have purchased not one but two S2000 from them and still am happy a half of year later thank you all. PS if you have had bad service just go in and sit down with Larry and I bet he will do everything in his power to make it right. If this is your first time in and your looking for a car just ask for Miguel , if you need Honda parts stop by and say hello to Tony, going in for Tech ask for Terrence trust me you will not go wrong make sure you tell them Stef and Ben sent you!
