I worked with Mike he was very nice but the car i was looking for had sold and he tried to get me into another vehicle but i didnt like it. Two words - NEVER AGAIN will I purchase a car from Balise Chevrolet. When I purchased my car I asked that all emissions testing/registration be done before I took possession of the car. I was informed by b Chevrolet. When I purchased my car I asked that all emissions testing/registration be done before I took possession of the car. I was informed by both the salesman and the business manager that it was not done that way. I was to get the emissions testing done on my own, paying for it out of my pocket; bring back the receipt and then the dealership would send someone to register my car. When I left the dealership the salesman removed my license plates from my old vehicle and put them on the new vehicle – no temporary plate nor registration. I was told I did not need a temporary plate or registration. I was not comfortable with this information and called the dealership the following Monday, I spoke with a woman who told me to carry my bill of sale with me that I did not need a temporary plate or registration. I received a call from the driver that registers cars for Balise to set up an appointment to register my car at that point he informed me that he was responsible for the emissions testing – not me as I had been told – that the emissions testing was part of the registration process. I had to call the DMV for another matter and while speaking with the representative mentioned that I was driving with my plates and no temporary registration. She informed me that not only was this illegal but if I were stopped I would be charged with misrepresentation of plates and the car would be towed on the spot. I called the dealership and since my salesman was not available asked to speak with the sales manager. I had to leave a message which took him close to three hours to return my call in the meantime I had to call the driver and leave a message for him not to come for my car. When the sales manager finally returned my call and he told me to come over and they would give me temporary registration and plates. I went over and was given temporary plates and registration. I had to reschedule the driver to complete the registration process and we agreed on April 22nd for the date (the temporary plate expiration was April 24th). The evening of the 21st I thought that our local government offices were closed on the 22nd for Good Friday and wondered if the State offices were closed as well and went on the website discovering that the DMV is ALWAYS closed on Good Friday. I called Balise first thing in the morning and was not able to speak with either my sales person or the sales manager. When I finally spoke with the sales manager was told in effect “oh well”. I asked what he planned to do as my temporary plates expired on Sunday and was told that he could not give me another temporary registration as that was illegal. I told him I would once again go to the dealership that I wanted everything I needed to register the car myself on Saturday, was told this would be done. The driver in the meantime called me and informed me that this was in effect my fault. Why is this my fault… shouldn’t the person who registers vehicles on a daily basis be informed as to the closings of offices! When I arrived at the dealership and asked him for the necessary packet I was told he couldn’t do that because I had a lien against the car….I paid by check for the car, hence there was no lien. He then told the salesman to put a temporary plate on the car, I questioned the legality of this and was told it wasn’t illegal for me. He then told me to set up the appointment for the registration with the driver, I told him I was not going to do this because of the attitude I just encountered with the driver and for him to please set up the appointment for Tuesday and I would arrange my schedule to accommodate. On Monday I called the sales manager to confirm the appointment, he never returned my call. I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate the driver on Tuesday and he NEVER SHOWED! I called the sales manager at noon was once again put into voice mail and the return call was received at 4:00 PM that afternoon. I was told the driver had to attend a funeral, I am sorry that is not my problem nor was I showed the common courtesy of a call on Monday to reschedule this appointment. I was then told for me to call the woman who schedules the driver, again voice mail. The driver called me back to set up the appointment for the next week at around 11:00 am. Day of registration 11:00 – no driver, 11:15 – no driver, 11:30 – no driver, 11:45 – no driver, I called the driver and he told me he was on the street with the same name, however he was in the wrong state. Never once through all of this did the salesman nor the sales manager even offer an apology. Customer service definitely not included in the cost of the car. More
I had an amazing experience with this dealership! Steve was wonderful, so professional and really went the extra mile for me! Sean was our sales man, and although he is newer at selling cars, he was knowl was wonderful, so professional and really went the extra mile for me! When I was leaving, Joe Simon approached me, and pretty much told me I would'nt be leaving without buying. After I explained to him, I was never given any clear pricing options, I had no intention of buying there. Joe kept on persisting, telling me he could give me the best deal anywhere, And still I wasn't told what I would be paying. After I finally agreed on what I thought was a great price. I was told in their finance office, I had to finance thru them, and at a really high rate of about 15 % Believe me, I left there and never will go back, or recommend anyone to shop there. More
I HAD BOUGHT A 2008 CADILLAC SRX ABOUT 7 MONTHS AGO FROM BALISE CHEVY AND I'VE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR. THE SECOND WEEK THAT I'VE HAD THE CAR IT HAD TO GO INTO THE SHOP TO GET FIXED. NOW THE C BALISE CHEVY AND I'VE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR. THE SECOND WEEK THAT I'VE HAD THE CAR IT HAD TO GO INTO THE SHOP TO GET FIXED. NOW THE CAR HAS GONE BACK 10 TIMES TO GET REPAIRED FOR SEVERAL ISSUES. I HAD CALLED BALISE LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES STATING THAT I WASNT SATISFIED WITH THE CAR THAT THEY HAD SOLD ME AND THEY WOULDNT RETURN ANY OF MY CALLS. I'VE EVEN LEFT MESSAGES WITH THE MANAGER AND STILL IGNORED MY PHONE CALLS. I FINALLY WENT DOWN THERE AND THEY STATED THAT IF I WANTED TO RETURN THE CAR I WOULD HAVE TO PUT MORE MONEY DOWN ON ANOTHER CAR WHICH IN MY BOOKS IT'S NOT RIGHT WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PUT MORE MONEY DOWN IF THEY SOLD ME A CAR THAT KEEPS BREAKING DOWN. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB BECAUSE TO ME THEY SOLD ME A LEMON COME ON NOW I'VE ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR 7 MONTHS AND IT'S BEEN IN THE SHOP 10 TIMES. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND BALISE TO ANYONE. THEY JUST WANT TO SELL YOU A CAR THEY DON'T CARE IF THERE IS PROBLEMS WITH IT. More
I recently started the daunting task of shopping for a new truck. Faced with so many options, I turned to the internet to help narrow down my search. After doing some research I decided the the all new Chevrolet Silverado HD was the perfect fit. I sent out several email inquiries to the local Chevrolet dealers looking for some basic information such as price, available inventory, and hours of operation. The replies I received were not what I expected. They were very slow to get back to me, even days in some instances. They didn’t answer any of the questions I had asked. Just when I thought all hope was lost I tried one more dealership, Balise Chevrolet. Before I was done typing my email Robert Sullivan had already pick up the phone to contact me. Maybe I’m exaggerating a little, but he was fast. Rob willingly answered all of my questions and invited me in to take the truck for a test drive. When I arrived on the following Saturday afternoon you would have thought they were giving something away. The show room was packed and you could feel the energy in the room. I was promptly greeted by Joe Simon. who we later found out was the general manager, and offered a cup of coffee while he pulled up the truck I was there to see. Rob was helping out another customer at the time. Joe took the time to go over the truck in great detail and make sure he answered all of my questions. When Rob was free he took over and handled the rest of the transaction. Things couldn’t have gone any smoother and the team work that I saw on that Saturday afternoon was impressive. As busy as they were Rob and Joe always made me feel like I was the only person in the showroom. They gave me there undivided attention and for that I am grateful. I love my truck and thank those other Chevy dealers for being so lousy at getting back to me because if it weren’t for them I never would have had this great truck buying experience. Their motto is true “you’ll do better at Balise” More

I went to many many dealerships, I friend I worked with highly recommened Balise. When I arrived I was greeted right away with a smile. All my questions were answered and everyone was very nice. I found our experience at Balise in Warwick exceptional. We were greeted by Mr Simon who had extensive knowledge on all the vehicles and was extremely friendly. Tammy was so down to earth and saw that we needed gas for the test drive insisted on pumping it herself. I wasn't planning on buying a car on the last day of the year, but I thought that it might be in my be the test drive insisted on pumping it herself.
