Worst customer service I have ever experienced Pitiful excuse for a dealership. My girl friend and I went in to get our tires changed. They did not change the air valves in our tires (which they admitted they should have done) so we had fluctuating flat tires which we had to fill every day until we got the chance to book an appointment at a reasonable time of day. We finally got an appointment from the assistant service manager named ROB (whom we had originally met with to get the tires changed). We called him the day and of our appointment and he told us that he would meet us at the dealership for the appointment we had made with him - he promised he would give us a rental once we dropped the car off and would "take care of the problem" regarding our tire issues. Well, we got there, and ROB was no where to be found. The man behind the counter, who was unbelievably rude, told us they had no appointment for us, were closing soon, had no rental for us, and to come back another time (we live 40 minutes away and had flat tires). He had absolutely no regard for us as customers. After they tried intimidating my girlfriend into leaving, I refused, and was so dumbfounded at their lack of respect and pride in their own business. This place is AWFUL. Their service is TERRIBLE. Hire employees who care about your business, not employees who screw over customers and get their paycheck knowing they work for a company they have no pride in. ROB, you are the worst of them all. You are a liar and a sleazeball. Thanks for the appointment and rental car that didn't exist you snake in the grass. More
Customer Service (sales) I came in to the dealership just to look and see since I was thinking about trading my 2006 Sante Fe. It was a Sunday afternoon and I figured the dea I came in to the dealership just to look and see since I was thinking about trading my 2006 Sante Fe. It was a Sunday afternoon and I figured the dealership would be closed since it was about 4:30 pm but just took a chance. Bryant Biccum was the sales rep that was there and was very professional, friendly and commited person. He took the time to see I was looking for and did not seem to mind that it was past closing time. I was able to test drive the new 2014 Sante Fe and ended up leaving the dealership that same night with the SUV. I truly am greatful for the service I received from him and had my daughter speak with him as well and he was able to help her get her first car. I will definitely recommend Bryant to all my friends and family and in the future if I will decide to trade or purchase another vehicle I will definitely be back to deal with Bryant. Your company is very lucky to have someone who is very commited and has great customer service skills. On a scale of 1-10, I would definitely given him a 10++++++. Thanks for everything Bryant. I will definitely be seeing you again. More
Best Employee Ever My car had broken down while traveling thru Springfield so stopped in Balise to let my Subaru dry out-or so I thought. Barnett, service writer, came out, looked at car, drove it around the lot, advised me not to drive it but get it towed to local Subaru dealer as there was loud scraping noise underneath. Barnett let me park car in his lot until I got it towed-Funny....after contacting local Subaru dealer in west Springfield , I was rudely informed that they were way too busy to take care of my Subaru. Ironic, the Chevrolet dealership had a kind & friendly rep who assisted me, but the local Subaru dealer could not take time to look at my Subaru. Balise should be overjoyed to have Barnett as an employee--he is what customer service should be all about & maybe you could loan him out to Subaru dealer to show them what they should be doing !!!!!! More

Had a couple minor problems with my 2011 Silverado. I showed up at my scheduled time, and met with Nicole. Nicole was very friendly and professional. She took my information quickly, made sure my needs showed up at my scheduled time, and met with Nicole. Nicole was very friendly and professional. She took my information quickly, made sure my needs were met, and promised me a call when all the work was done. A few hours later, she called to let me know my truck work was completed. When I arrived at the dealer the paperwork was waiting for me and I was back in my truck heading home in a few minutes. I will be back again at Balise for future services. More

First off I have to extend kudos to the sales staff, especially Tim Divoll. He is as honest, friendly and genuine a slaesman as you will find. I don't believe he has any part in my experience with the service center, which is the sole reason for my negative review. We bought a 2005 Equinox a year and a half ago. I noticed right away that it sounded as if it had a low end rumble, similar to the '68 Lemans I used to own. I was told at the time of sale that it was supposed to sound like that. However I sopke with two other owners who drive the exact make, model, year and even COLOR of our vehicle and theirs sound normal. Turns out that I discovered the cause of the sound while looking under the rig for a different problematic noise. The reason it sounds like a V8 is because there is an old, rusted hole in the muffler. The sound that sent me on that hunt was (and still is) a squeek coming from the rear of the vehicle which showed up shortly after the time of sale. I've taken it in a total of five times and they still haven't fixed it. Most people quit after three strikes. You can hear me coming down the street, it's so loud. During the times I brought it in, I noticed on the paperwork that my service inslused a 150 point inspection. I have no idea what that includes, but I can tell you that it doesn't seem to include a hole in the muffler, a rattling front end, an oil leak, or a bad alignment. Now a year and a half later, the front shocks are gone and the CV Joints are going out as well. We spent the money we did so we could go longer before having to dump a bunch of cash back into the purchase. Best laid plans... Ultimately I believe Balise can provide you with an honest sales staff and get you into a nice NEW car. However based on my experience, I have no faith in their ability to select decent pre-owned vehicles, and I certainly have no faith in the service center. I think it exists to provide a revenue stream without any accountability. More
We have purchased five vehicles from this dealership in the last ten years. Four Impalas and the present one is a Traverse. The whole experience with this dealership, every time, was excellent, from sales to service. The sales staff was efficient and they made purchasing our vehicles pleasant and quick. Usually, for service, I make an appointment but on the times I just dropped in for an oil change or new wind shield wipers they took care of the problem quickly, and always with a smile - a very pleasant place to bring your car problems, although problems are very few, mostly it is regular maintenance. I highly recommend Balise for all you vehicle needs. More

I was very interested in buying a Toyota and he totally changed my mind, which was the best thing ever! I love my car and loved my experience. They were busy with customers but truly accommodated everyone, making them feel very important. I will and have recommended this dealership, and Luke especially. He was outstanding and made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped on the lot, always offering us something to drink or snack on. With many dealerships we usually get the feeling that we are being pressured and the sales people can be slightly pushy. This was not the case whatsoever here. They were able to get us in the perfect vehicle for our family at exactly the right cost. When we came in to do the final signing of papers and such, we had the pleasure of working with Gary Showers, Finance Manager. He also made us feel right at home to the point of accommodating my 2 year old with toy cars and chocolate to keep her happy while we signed everything. We felt that everyone involved in the process went above and beyond the status quo and left a lasting impression and smile on our face!!! I would absolutely recommend this dealership to any and everyone. Go there.....you will not be disappointed!!!! A big thank you to the team at Springfield's BALISE CHEVROLET!!!!! More
