Brakes were not completed to my satisfaction I am not happy with the brake job that was just completed on my last visit. The previous Saturday I brought my car in for a regular service, ie oil ch I am not happy with the brake job that was just completed on my last visit. The previous Saturday I brought my car in for a regular service, ie oil change, fluid levels, inspection for any other issues...When the maintenance had been completed Cory Felix advised me that during the inspection the mechanic found that I needed to have the front brakes replaced, nothing wrong with the rotors, just the brakes. I made an appointment to take my car in the following Saturday for the brake replacement, Cory wasn't there, Aldo was the service person. After about 2 hrs of waiting Aldo came into the break room and told me they could not get the rotors shaved down or something and wanted to know if I wanted them replaced for $150, I said no, he then said they could do it for $110, I said no and told him I had just had the brakes checked a week ago and Cory said there was nothing wrong with the rotors. When Aldo came back in after finishing my car he said the rotors did turn out to be ok after all and he would knock a little off my bill because I had waited so long, the original quote was 289.99, I paid 281. After driving off in my car I could not tell any difference in the brakes before I brought the car in, I truly am wondering if they were even replaced. I am very unhappy about the service and what felt like some shady dealings with the service person. I don't like feeling like I'm being taken advantage of. I am relying on the service person to be honest because they are supposed to be the experts. More

I have always heard great all-around experiences coming from customers of Bakersfield Mazda because of the Bashirtash families as well as their full s I have always heard great all-around experiences coming from customers of Bakersfield Mazda because of the Bashirtash families as well as their full staff, so when it came time for me to think about or get a new car, Mazda was already in the back of my mind as my first choice. I went to Mazda with the intention to browse the used car selection. Immediately upon arrival and before even having to find the entrance of the dealership, I was greeted by a manager who directed us to a salesperson after learning I was interested in “just looking”. The gentleman he introduced me to had a calm, relaxed and professional vibe to him which immediately made me feel at ease. My experience with car salesmen is they are very pushy, are quick to point me to the most expensive cars on the lot, want to run my credit, etc. and it’s just frightening. Chuy was the exact opposite of the stereotypical sales guy and when I told him I was just wanting to check out the used car selection, no more, he happily led me over to the designated area as if it were the area with the highest priced cars on the lot. I had my eye/idea on a specific color and type of car and I didn’t see it in their selection of used cars. Without really knowing, I’d just assumed I wouldn’t be able to afford a new car, especially because the reason I wanted to browse dealerships was for the purpose of having a lower monthly car payment—so even looking at “new” cars hadn’t even crossed my mind. Normally at this point in time, I would’ve just been ready to pack up and leave to the next dealership in hopes of finding the exact car I had in mind. However, id felt so at ease with Chuy; he already knew exactly what I had in mind with the kinds of payments I hoped to have, and had been so patient with me thus far, that when he suggested we just walk over and look at some of the newer options I didn’t even have the slightest hesitation. It took all of 20 seconds before Chuy directed me to the car of my dreams that haven’t even existed yet. I was floored. Immediately enamored and even more in love with every aspect of the car as he spoke. He let me test drive it and that’s when I knew I had to have it. My first words were “oh my gosh, I love this....but there’s no way I’ll be able to afford this.” Chuy assured me he and his team would be able to figure something out in order to make sure I was satisfied and they did. The trust in his team at this moment and ability to find the perfect, most affordable plan for me is probably the biggest reason why I’m giving them 5 stars. I met with Lucky Singh to do all of the financials and he was just great. He had a contagious fun and positive energy to him and made the signing-a-million-papers process so easy and it felt like it went by so quick. While the Mazda team was handling all of my paperwork, I met with Adam and he was very thorough and knowledgeable about the car I was buying. He took me over to the vehicle and showed me how to work all of the features, he set-up my Bluetooth, adjusted all of my settings to my liking. Adam was very professional and ensured I was 100% had no more questions about the car. Overall; my encounter with everyone on staff here was beyond excellent. Everyone around was indirectly helpful by just having a smile on their faces. They all are very professional, positive, and eager to assist and ensure satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend Bakersfield Mazda and am so thankful I was able to have my car buying experience with Bashirtash and his team. I look forward to many years with this dealership. More

Especially the front desk girls, and the guy who washed my car!! I had a really ugly paint stain and he took it off for free! He was really persistant on how clean I wanted my car and it showed that he was determined to make MY CAR look nice! (I wish I remembered his name :'() It shows that Bakersfield Mazda cares about it's customers and wants them to keep Comming back. Next time I come back, I will be switching my Mazda 6 for a Mazda Miata :). More
