Louisiana residents need to carefully review the purchase order before signing! And finally, they attempt to obtain a copy of your drivers license with DOB/SSN for a 5-line credit check, under the guise of verifying your identity even when you specifically tell them you're preapproved through your own credit union. State of TX allows multiple forms of picture ID when purchasing a new vehicle - and I sent them to the link for this as well, and still they insisted. I have evidence of all this... text messages, purchase order and recorded conversation. I would avoid this dealership. More
I purchased my Altima in 2017. When signing the contract, I asked the finance rep regarding the GAP policy, he misled me by showing me that yes, I had a policy from American Financial Warranty Corporation (A I asked the finance rep regarding the GAP policy, he misled me by showing me that yes, I had a policy from American Financial Warranty Corporation (AFWC). In 2020, my vehicle was totaled in a car accident. Then, I was advised that no I do not have a GAP policy but instead I have a theft policy. I did not agree to a theft policy and I was misled to think that I was signing up for a GAP policy. I was misled by this company and the finance rep. I trusted what the finance rep said was true, but now I learn that Baker Nissan can not be trusted. A bad sale! This is very deceptive to sign me up for a theft policy instead of the GAP policy that I requested and then to show me on paper to confirm the misleading information. I did not ask for a theft policy and I was not given the GAP warranty that I was misled to think that I was purchasing. This deceptive practice from Baker Nissan has cost me over $6,000. Read everything!!!! And verify your GAP warranty coverage immediately after purchase. More

Purchased our last Nissan in 2015 from here and stepped into this dealership for the last time a week ago.......we only brought our pathfinder in for service here.......Got a diagnostic test done and did t into this dealership for the last time a week ago.......we only brought our pathfinder in for service here.......Got a diagnostic test done and did the recommended repairs About a year or so, the repairs that was done never completely resolved the issue but it only happened on occasion and I didn’t want to spend another $1500 so we let it go (a huge mistake on our part) brought it in for an oil change 3-4 months ago no issues mentioned, brought it in about 2 months ago for a supposed diagnostic test because the fan motor went out and again last week as time for another oil change so I brought it in and to requested they check the issue again because it started happening in a daily basis, paid for another diagnostic test and the estimate came back for $13,000!!!!! Are you kidding me......that was the last day we stepped foot in baker Nissan. I’m writing this review in hopes it makes others aware that it might be a good thing to consider your oil changes here are about $200 because what I got out of this estimate is that every time I bring my car here I should also pay to have a complete diagnostic test to check every single thing to make sure nothing is wrong with my car before the issue is listed as a fail state. I hope if you are reading this you have a much more positive experience than I did on my last and final visit here. More
