Overall I had a pleasurable experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealer and salesperson. Garrett was also extremely easy to work with on the financing end and the transaction was swift and easy. More

At this years car show I saw the Subaru, sat in it and decided that this was the one I wanted. I became the proud owner of my 2015 Forester on April 26, 2014. I have not been able to drive it a lot, but the time I have driven it has confirmed that I was right in buying the Forester. I am looking forward to many years of good service and enjoyment as an owner of a Subaru. My thanks to Michael Goessler for all his help in getting the right color and model of my Forester. More

There, I met Frank, who showed me the car and answered all of my questions. He was very friendly and at no point did I feel pressured. He didn't even ask for my contact information. Other salespersons from other dealerships continue to hound me to this day, which is very tiresome, and I appreciated Frank's no-pressure attitude. If I was interested, I could call him back and we would talk. Which I did. This was my first vehicle purchase, and I had been warned of common games and traps dealers would play. Frank surprised me and never tried any of those tactics. If his strategy was to give me a great offer and let me come to my own decision, it was a good one and I'd advise other salespeople to take a page from his book. When I turned down certain "extras", he easily and quickly accepted my position. Again, just an offer, no pressure. Frank was a good dude. He took the time to ensure I knew everything I needed to know about the car: how the the navigation worked, the audio system, the Bluetooth and hands free modes. Where all the buttons and switches were and what they did. He made the buying process fun and exciting and I left with a fantastic car at a great price. Not an ounce of buyer's remorse, which was something I had anticipated but never felt for a moment. I'd definitely recommend talking to Frank if you're looking for a sweet ride but have no interest in being pressured or pushed. I'd give the entire experience an A+ or 5 stars or two thumbs up, whatever gets your wheels spinning. A thousand thanks to my man Frank. More
Dealership without pressure In my search, and in my prayers for guidance on buying a used or new car (depending on pkgs. and pricing), the Subaru Legacy popped into my head. In my search, and in my prayers for guidance on buying a used or new car (depending on pkgs. and pricing), the Subaru Legacy popped into my head. We had never owned a Subaru nor did my husband want one, so far. I researched online cars that I felt would meet our needs. I narrowed it down to three different makes and models and then to one. I had my eye on the Subaru Legacy sedan. I put in an online inquiry about a used 2013 with 6091 miles and Frank was the first to respond and he did it within 5 minutes. That talk was very informative to me, he answered all my questions, giving me good suggestions. At that time, I mentioned the 2 other makes and models at a different dealership that I saw online and he suggested I test drive them all on the same day to experience them in like weather conditions. But after talking to him, I know only had that 2013 legacy sedan with 6K miles on my mind. From the time we first talked on the phone until after we took it for a test drive there was absolutely no pressure. After the test drive we got out of the car and I said, "we want to buy it." We talked a little more and I said what's next? He said "oh, you want to buy it?!" Yes. It was an overall great experience unlike any other car buying experience I have ever had. I told Frank we'll be back in 20 years for another one (I heard they last) and he said I hope I'm not here! Retirement reasons I would suspect. Just a conjecture! He even paired my bluetooth with the car since I am not technical at all. TY More
Impressive Dealer We visited Baierl Subaru with the intent of purchasing our second Subaru so that our original 3 year old Impreza could be passed down to our children. We visited Baierl Subaru with the intent of purchasing our second Subaru so that our original 3 year old Impreza could be passed down to our children. The stylish design, all-wheel drive, and heated seats (premium wheels and winter weather package) combined with the modest sticker price of the Impreza were the main drivers of our decision on the vehicle. Regarding the Dealer, our past experience with the courteous and knowledgeable folks in Sales (Michael Goessler) and Service will bring us back (when needed) for our 3rd Subaru . More

I always dread shopping for cars because of the stigma attached to the whole process, however, we never felt pressured by anyone on this deal and considered it a good experience. i would certainly work with these people again. Appearance vs Experience I hate being lumped with other owners, that's why I bought Subaru. Not to be different but because I am at the margin of car customers. I don't care f I hate being lumped with other owners, that's why I bought Subaru. Not to be different but because I am at the margin of car customers. I don't care for lab coats, the drive-in service center, free WiFi in the waiting box or the Today Show on a flat screen TV bigger than I have at home. I am a car person; I know mechanical things, I spent my share of life as an Army Ordnance branch qualified tank-automotive maintenance management officer. Before that I laddered my way through a string of British roadsters, Volvos, Saabs and a the odd hopped up Fiat. In college speech class I learned the first step is to know your audience. This dealership does not take the time to perform that step and their consistent failure to grant me the standing to tell them observations I have about the service I seek is infuriating, even more so than having to clean my car's interior EVERY TIME they do service, be it an oil change, state inspection or otherwise. Those paper floor mats are kabuki, present to distract from the grimy hand prints, greasy foot smudges across the threshold carpet and on the doors from filthy elbows. I know it is hard to be performing service and yet have to respect the condition and integrity of subsequent vehicles. It is a management issue, not a mechanic issue. I have felt so completely isolated from the mechanics (oops, they're technicians now) that the quality of their work can only be measured in hand and footprints. I want to feel like I interface with someone familiar with the under hood hardware. My best experience with automobile service had nothing to do with presentation but rather competence that was clear when talking to me and took stock of the fact that sometimes services do not have to do with fault codes or what the computer says...no rattle ever gets diagnosed without getting a bit uncomfortable or dirty. My best days with this service department came back when I parked in back and entered through the bays and actually spoke to mechanics. On a check ride on one instance, the mechanic noted I barely used the clutch when shifting (matched RPMs, no slipping) and it was all he needed to validate that even with the miles on the odometer, the clutch was not the problem. Those days are gone. This business is no longer about the cars, they are just another appliance to the mass-appeal clientele keeping up with the Joneses, and Oprah in the customer waiting box, drinking K-cups and using free WiFi. My version of total misery. More
