My husband and I were walking the lot on Tuesday and came across an Outback Touring with 1000 miles on it and really fell for it . We continued to shop around but came back that night and took it for a test drive. The salesman we spoke to was about to leave when we returned but happily let us take the car for a test drive. I fell in love there was something about this car and with the low mileage it was a no brainer we wanted this vehicle. Our salesman Mike told us that we would not be able to get it that night due to the time but we made an appointment for Thursday to come back and purchase it. He shook our hands congratulated us, told us that he would mark it sold and he would see us on Thursday (that was the next day he was working). Thursday came and we showed up very excited to bring our new vehicle home. Mike told us that everything was in place and that the original numbers that we run were even better so our payment would be lower. He took us out to look at the car again while we waited for the finance/business person and something seemed off. I got in the car and we were playing with the features and my husband noticed that the odometer was at 3K and not 1K and we realized this was not the car that we had taken on a test drive on Tuesday. We told Mike and he agreed and then said well let me go look for your car. The car we test drove was never found. Obviously it had been sold earlier but that was never stated to us and the situation was very nonchalant to Mike - he basically said oh well just get this one its the same vehicle. Clearly it wasn't - there were 2 cars the one we test drove and the one they tried to pass off to us. While they were extremely similar the mileage was different and the trim was different. The car we AGREED to buy on Tuesday had a different exterior trim. The team at Baierl made ZERO attempt to rectify their mistake. In fact they made us feel like we had the choice of this car and they were doing us a favor. Mike said I'm sorry but continued to repeat that - Its the same the car I don't see what the difference is. At no point did a manager come to speak to us or anything. When I stated yet again you sold the car that we wanted Mike said well this one is the same vehicle and pretty much said see ya later when we made our decision to walk away from this purchase. No one tried to make the situation right, Mike said that his manager said they 'would knock a few bucks off this other one' but that was it. They sold us some story that someone entered the VIN numbers incorrectly in the system. Obviously when we made the handshake agreement on Tuesday Mike failed to mark the vehicle as sold and some other buyer was lucky enough to get the car that was intended for us. To make matters worse they ran the loan before we got there to expedite the process and now my husband has 2 hard inquiries on his credit report due to this debacle. I will never go back to this dealership based on how they made us feel. I recommend that anyone who purchases a vehicle from them get the car the same day so this doesn't happen to you. More
I took the car in for an oil change (part of service that I already paid for). During the oil change I was informed that they had broken a wheel lug nut and stud. Even though I had not asked them to do anyt I already paid for). During the oil change I was informed that they had broken a wheel lug nut and stud. Even though I had not asked them to do anything with the tires. They blamed the last person to work on the car and wanted me to pay them to fix it. After waiting for over an hour for an oil change when I was the only customer there, I now have to fix my car from the free oil change. The car had only been driven 100 miles since the last inspection, so there would have been no reason to rotate the tires anyway. They are simply looking for something else to charge customers with. Then the operations manager argued with me about it over the phone. Rather than admit they made a mistake, or offering to fix it, they have lost a customer for life. Not the first incident like this I have had there. More

Patrick and Kari were so helpful and made this process super easy on me. I made my decision quickly, and they were there to make sure I knew about all of the features. We have been searching for a vehicle to purchase for the last few weeks. We have purchased dozens of vehicles over the last 4 decades since we have 4 children including: Subaru's, [Crosschek, Outback, Asce last few weeks. We have purchased dozens of vehicles over the last 4 decades since we have 4 children including: Subaru's, [Crosschek, Outback, Ascent, and Foresters, Tahoe's, Suburban's , Saabs, BMWs and Jeeps. We decided to purchase a Subaru on Friday 10 28 22 after test driving a Genesis GV 70 and BMW X3 and X 5 last week - any of which we could afford. Specifically I was dealing with another Subaru dealer where I drove an Outback and Ascent with and without turbo features. My son in law saw the ad for $2000 off an Ascent at Baierl Subaru which we thought " there must be a catch'. He contacted Kari King who then spoke to me for the first time at 1101 am on Friday. We had a marvelous discussion about the remaining Ascents at Baierl. She is quite knowledgeable, professional, direct and honest. Quite a combination for young lady in auto sales. The ad was true. I completed all the paper work on line and took advantage of the crazy low rates Subaru is currently offering. The service department had the car detailed and ready to purchase at 4 pm. We met Jordan Smith in finance to complete the deal. Jordan is one of the most knowledgeable, friendly, professional and honest finance people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was beyond patient when he had to call the banking folks due to my error in filling out the credit app. -my computer auto populated my wife's info with our old address [thus we had two different addresses on the credit app. which delayed the deal by about 10 minutes late on Friday afternoon [ when every one wants to go home from the long week]. He patiently explained the various options including: tire/wheel protection, key loss/damage and dent protection for our new car. He explained the best grouping for the pricing in great detail. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. We drove our new Ascent off the lot just before 5 on Friday afternoon. If you are in the market for a car I strongly recommend without reservation the Baierl auto group where they treat you like family. Mr. Baierl should be quite proud of the honest, , professional people he employs. You know we will be back for our next purchase. More

Kari was downright incredible; really nice and willing to work with me on a finding a second car to test as well as just helping me deal through the stress of losing my first car and figuring out my way through buying a new car- and getting some help with figuring out if my elderly relaitive will be able to get in the car without too much trouble. In the end, I fell in love with the first car I test drove- and to that one maintenence guy my grandma made act like a 70 year old, Thank you so much for alleviating her worries. More
