In the past few weeks, we visited two dealerships in the relative vicinity of where we reside, the dealerships shall remain nameless for the purpose of anonymity and basic courtesy. The general consensus that we received from both dealerships is that they did not value the satisfaction of the customer and, ultimately, wanted to make a profit through any means necessary. These experiences left us with a common stereotype that all car dealerships are nothing more than manufacturing centers for lies and deceit. Upon further research, we found the exact make, model, trim and color of the vehicle that we wanted at Baierl Honda right outside of Pittsburgh. I immediately called the dealership and made initial contact with Haston Lowman. Immediately, Haston provided me with all the information that I ascertained about and agreed to set up a meeting at our preferred date. Admittedly, my father and I were still a tad skeptical regarding the morality, or lack thereof, regarding another dealership, however, when the day of the meeting came, we put our preconceived notions aside and embarked on our journey to Pittsburgh. When we arrived at the dealership, our primary objective was to locate the vehicle, Haston called me and I informed him that we had just arrived and were inspecting the Civic. From the very beginning, Haston presented himself as a gentleman and provided us with factual information. Never once did he try to pressure us into a deal or manipulate our emotions by using dishonest tactics. Haston offered us the best deal we had seen by far on the vehicle and made the process as simple as possible. My father even commented that the transaction was the smoothest he had ever seen. We would like to highly commend Haston as well as the consummate professionalism and overall air of helpfulness that resonates from the dealership. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and honesty in automotive salesmanship is commendable and should be the standard by which all other dealerships attempt to achieve. We can say, with absolute certainty, that if we are ever in need of another car, we will definitely be returning to Baierl Honda. Haston Lowman, sales, greeted me and my wife at the door (FYI - I am a woman) and interacted with us professionally and in a welcoming way. There was absolutely no high pressure sales technique used. Haston was knowledgeable about the vehicle and invited us to take a test drive. After the test drive (and loving the vehicle), we discussed a possible purchase with Haston who was able to provide us with information and numbers. He did not need to approach his manager multiple times (which has happened to me in the past with various promises made, constantly reviewed and then remade). He checked in with the manager once and provided us with a prospective deal that was excellent - including a superior trade-in deal. We then met with Aaron Catania in finance and again were more than pleased with his reception. Aaron was humorous, professional and made the entire process effortless and quick. We are sold on Baierl Honda - and I would highly recommend this dealership, Haston and Aaron without reservation. More
