I brought my 2018 Honda Civic into Baierl Honda on Saturday, October 28, 2023 specifically for an oil change and an alignment. My appointment was at 9:30am and the service advisor was John Kurta. I waited at the dealership and then met my brother at another dealership while I was waiting. At 11:34am, I received a call from John Kurta stating that my car was ready. When I got to the dealership, I found out that they also performed the following WITHOUT ASKING FOR MY CONSENT: • A Transmission Fluid Flush • A Brake Fluid Flush • An Air and Pollen Filter Replacement Instead of paying the $159 (plus tax) for the alignment (I paid for free oil changes when I bought the car), I paid a total of $664.34. Other items of note included • After the alignment, I still had to keep the steering wheel turned a little to the right to drive straight; and • My tire tread went from 5 32nds to 7 32nds between my last visit (December 28, 2022) and this current visit (October 28, 2023). I did not get new tires. Then, I tried following up with Baierl Honda to see if they could explain why the all the extra work was done to my car without asking and nobody followed-up with me (and I followed-up multiple times). Please see below for a timeline of my follow-up attempts: • Sunday, October 29, 2023 – Responded to a text message survey about my horrible experience. I never received any kind of response. • Saturday, November 11, 2023 – Went to the dealership and spoke with a Sales Manager about my experience. He agreed that somebody should have notified me that my car needed all the extra work instead of just doing it and assuming I could pay for it. He said that somebody would reach out to me on Monday, November 13th. • Monday, November 13th, 2023 – Nobody called me. • Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 – Nobody called me. I drove the dealership after work that evening and spoke to a manager again who said that somebody would be contact me on Wednesday. • Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 – Nobody called me. I called the cell phone of the Sales Manager I spoke to on Saturday, November 11th (who was not working that day), but said that he would talk to the Service Manager and that I should hear back on Thursday. • Thursday, November 16th, 2023 – Nobody called me. • Friday, November 17th, 2023 – Nobody called me. In conclusion, I had a horrible service experience and when I brought it up to management, they never followed-up with me, even when I followed-up with them repeatedly. I would not recommend John Kurta as a Service Advisor and management needs to take better responsibility for following-up on customer complaints and addressing them. More
I had Rob Centola as my car salesman and i recommend him to anyone who is looking for a car or wants to trade in a car! This was my first car and he made the impossible, possible for me and i am forever tha to anyone who is looking for a car or wants to trade in a car! Beware, this is not the Baierl you've heard good things about over the years. We've bought seven cars (Chevy and Honda) from Baierl and were always impressed with their service. But the family sold the business to a corporation from out of town, and the service quality has crashed and burned. Been trying to get help with a bum touchscreen from our service rep, the service manager and the GM for 8 months. They're not very courteous or responsible, they don't keep promises and they won't return phone calls. More

My trade and the deal was finalized online with Lauren and the financial paperwork with Aaron, (who did the paperwork on my 2018 accord), was completed at my availability a couple days later. I was there for a state inspection and oil change. They told me I needed transmission fluid, brake fluid, and fluid for rear tires. My bill at the end was over $700! I was appalled by how much it was and on top of that I waited over 3 hrs. I wish they would have gave me an idea of how much everything was going to cost before the very end. For a car that is still so new I was very upset by how much “maintenance” it needed. Being a young woman and coming in on my own, I felt robbed and taken advantage of. I won’t be coming back More
