Missign bolts and oil leaks I live in MD and I bought my 2011 Honda Odyssey in June 2014 in PA. When I got it home I smelled oil burning, I called the selling dealer and they took paid for a local Hondadealer to fix it. I thought it was just a minor issue..actually in isolation it was...the valve cover gasket was leaking. It was fixed and we went on our merry way fast forward to October 2014. My family and I are on a road trip to North Carolina when the van stalls out in a parking lot. It starts back up some minutes later and no more problems, we head back to MD. Two weeks later we're back in North Carolina and the van stalls out again at our hotel. We unload our luggage come back outside and the van fires right up. We drive to go get something to eat and at the stop light the van stalls out in traffic. We get it started again and drive it straight to the local Honda dealer. After four hours of diagnostics (starter, fuel pressure, alternator, and battery ok) the dealer finds the problem. The coolant bypass plate at the front of the motor has a missing bolt and the coolant is dripping out of it and landing on the RPM sensor. When that sensor gets wet it shorts out and cuts off the van. Because we were traveling I told the dealer just put the missing bolt in and get the sensor right and we will be on our way. Certainly the dealer at that forgot the bolt Baierl Honda of Wexford would fix it, right? Wrong. Baierl Honda redid the rings on our van for a recall. Not only did the local NC dealer find that there was a missing bolt in the coolant bypass; but they also found that our spark plug tubes and coils in Bank 2 were filled with oil. We had another valve cover gasket leaking! Oh and there were still misfire codes in the computer even though Baierl got paid for completing the rering work for the recall. We get back to Maryland and have our local dealer diagnose the problems and fix them after Baierl refuses to cover any of the expense. Baierl did the rering, and after putting the engine back together we have oil leaks on both valve cover gaskets, ruined coils, coolant leak due to a missing bolt in the coolant cover and the service manager at Baierl, Amil Krueger says "it appears that the vehicle was driven roughly 10,000 miles since the last repair. Because of the nature of the repair, if there was anything wrong or incorrect from that repair, an issue would have been present long before now............contact the previous owner if purchased privately and see if they are willing to help." When I asked Mr. Krueger to confirm that the reason he wasn't helping me with this (missing bolt) was because I had driven 10,000 miles and didn't have any complaints his response, "Yes sir, that’s exactly what I’m saying. Again, if you purchased this privately, then contact the previous owner." What has left me so unsettled about all of this is that if Baierl Honda did such a sloppy job putting the motor back together that I have all of these issues externally what is going on internally with the rings and all the major components inside the motor? What did they forget in there? I would like for Baierl to cover my motor for internal and external workmanship for anything else that fails and to reimburse me for all the costs that I spent fixing their mistakes ($440 NC and $820 MD). I only bought a Honda because I thought they lasted forever. I bought this one in June and it's been in the shop four times in four months!!!!! To other readers watch for their response and you be the judge of whether you want to put your hard earned dollars and future in a partnership with this dealer and by extension Honda. More

Worth the Drive! I drove more than 25 miles one way from my home in Baldwin Boro to the Wexford Baierl Honda dealership several times because of Jim Gregorakis! i did I drove more than 25 miles one way from my home in Baldwin Boro to the Wexford Baierl Honda dealership several times because of Jim Gregorakis! i did stop at other Honda dealers close to home; however, I kept returning to Jim before ultimately acquiring my new Accord. Jim was professionally friendly and made several no pressure phone calls in between my visits as I sorted through my wants and needs during the decision-making process. Jim insisted I call him with any questions when it was convenient for me and provided his cell phone too. He even called me on his day off to say my car was ready for pick up! I can be extremely picky and difficult to deal with; however, Jim was unwavering and worked at my pace easily answering all of my questions. I really appreciate how he exhibited impeccable style and grace, confirming that the staff at the dealership would be available on my short notice request to pick up my vehicle and the process was seamless. Overall, my experience was great and I received extraordinary service! Thanks Jim. More

Car buying made easy! Dan Brannigan made our experience easy and hassle free. After shopping around to over five different Honda dealerships I called Dan on the phone and Dan Brannigan made our experience easy and hassle free. After shopping around to over five different Honda dealerships I called Dan on the phone and reviewed the same information that I had already repeated, like a broken record, to all the other dealerships. Dan was different. Dan listened instead of speaking. Dan responded to my specific needs instead of suiting his own. Dan understood that negotiating is a delicate process that has to be a win-win for both sides. The upfront and honest approach to the purchase of our Certified Pre-owned 2012 Pilot Ex-L will make us a repeat customer for sure. I should also mention that trying to balance to full time jobs and a two year old, mixed with the long drive from the South Hills could have been a logistical nightmare. Dan had everything set up and prepared for us the day we came to pick up the vehicle. The purchase process was seamless and efficient and the attention to detail was not overlooked! Thanks Dan, The Clark Family. P.S. I guess we should throw in a thank you to C.P. as well ;) More
