Came to the dealership, and met Drew Redmond. Talked him him about how many miles I drive per year, and the best car for me. We came to the conclusion that the Passat TDI was the best car for me. I wasn't ready to purchase, and let him know that I was 2-3 months out, from buying. Drew followed up with me around the two month mark, and I went back to the dealership. After signing a few papers, I drove off in my brand new car. After almost 4 months, I have 30,000 miles on it, and couldn't be more pleased. Highly suggest you look up Drew. More

This is a great dealership. This is my 3rd automobile purchase from this dealership in a 5 year period. They are efficient and well informed on VW auto products as well as VW financing and leasing option purchase from this dealership in a 5 year period. They are efficient and well informed on VW auto products as well as VW financing and leasing options to include the finance processes of automated (car assistance purchasing) systems offered by banks such as USAA (ZAG dealers). It was a smooth transaction with no "glitches". I highly recommend doing business with this family environment business! More

Quite honestly, I went to Bachman VW by mistake AND had no intention of purchasing a VW, My son recently purchased a new Jetta wagon TDI and pushed me to look at the Passat TDI. When we got to Bachman, I no intention of purchasing a VW, My son recently purchased a new Jetta wagon TDI and pushed me to look at the Passat TDI. When we got to Bachman, I knew I was scheduled to talk to a female sales person so I they pointed me to the only female sales person - Lindsey Elser. She proved to be one of the best car salesman I have ever worked with. She took time to point out all my options and was extremely knowledgeable of VW product. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she said so and took time to find the correct answer. She sold me on the quality of a VW and let me decide which one I wanted. Lindsey made the buying process easy. She know what I was willing to spend and between her and her sales manager, they figured out how to make it work. I would recommend Lindsey to anyone who was in the market for a VW. More
In late August, my father and I began our search for a relatively new, used vehicle that I could make payments on to build credit, and to have peace-of-mind while driving. We went to over 30 dealerships i relatively new, used vehicle that I could make payments on to build credit, and to have peace-of-mind while driving. We went to over 30 dealerships in Louisville, and could not find anything that matched our requirements of low mileage, 5 years old or less, and a $12,500 maximum out-the-door price. I personally could not believe how so many dealerships were asking $13k-$14k+ for vehicles with 100,000 miles on them. We were ready to give up and resort to craigslist. I was also sick of slimy, lying used car salesmen attempting to sell me, and annoy me about, vehicles I did not want to buy. Our last stop was Bachman Volkswagen, and it was where we should have began our search from the beginning. The salesman, John Vanderhoff, was extremely helpful and straightforward about the vehicles he had presented to us. He did not remind me of an insane, insulting used car salesman, but rather a provider of information and someone we could go to with any questions we had, in full confidence of an HONEST answer. We had been so disappointed in how Oxmoor and Sam Swope auto groups had treated us and presented themselves, that this was a refreshing experience. When we walked in the door, my dad immediately stated that we needed something for $12,500 out the door, no more. Instead of telling us that was our requirements were impossible and attempting to sell us something out of our price-range (like Sam Swope, Oxmoor auto group, and others had done all day) John pointed us to a 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit 2 door. The vehicle only had 14,888 miles on it! I was concerned that they wouldn't budge off the $12,900 asking price, simply because the car was in pristine shape inside and out. While we were gone on the test drive, John got us a Carfax and had it waiting for us when we returned. He also suggested other vehicles, but my eye was focused on the Rabbit. After looking over the almost perfect Carfax, which only had a minor fender-bender on it, we offered our full, previously mentioned offer of $12,500 out-the-door price. The sales manager accepted the price and we began with the paperwork. No haggling over a few hundred bucks or trying to talk the car up and raise the price! I was in shock that our experience thus far at Bachman did not resemble any dealership we had been to (cough cough SAM SWOPE, OXMOOR AUTO GROUP). I didn't realize how good of a deal I was getting yet. While going over everything, John told us how the vehicle was a Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned car, so it came with a limited bumper-to-bumper warranty for 2 years or 24,000 miles from the purchase date. I hadn't even been walked toward a certified pre-owned lot anywhere else I went because other places weren't willing to deal nor take any sort of hit off of their ridiculously inflated prices on used vehicles. I have put about 5k miles on my car thus-far, and used the warranty to replace a locking mechanism and have other minor, intermittent issues looked at. The service I got from Roy, the Service manager, was phenomenal as well. He did not charge me the deductibles on the issues their service department could not diagnose & correct, and is allowing me to bring the car in anytime my off-and-on electrical issues occur to have it looked at immediately, as long as I provide a heads-up that I'm coming in. All in all, I want to say thank you to everyone at Bachman. They showed me how a car buying experience should be. I will be a repeat customer there, as will my family, and would suggest everyone try Bachman as their 1st stop in looking for a vehicle, new or used. More

Went to the dealership looking for a vehicle for my daughter . I usually do not deal with dealership due to pricing issues but I found the salesman Stewart Anderson and the manager Jeff to be very easy daughter . We were not able to come to terms on the original vehicle but they called me back a day later with another vehicle that we did come to terms on . I was able to get a Mitsubishi Outlander at what I felt was a good price and the vehicle was in very good shape , as I said it was for my daughter . I was very happy with the experience and the staff and I will return and I will recommend the dealership to others . More
