I found them to be helpful and knowledgeable. Because of conditions not in Bachhman’s control I was Frequently contacted by Ken Sutton With updates for the four months I waited for the car. EASILY the worst experience I've ever had attempting to buy a car. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a feeling it would be a mistake to try to do business with them, but I decided to give them anothe buy a car. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a feeling it would be a mistake to try to do business with them, but I decided to give them another try against my better judgment. I ordered a new Crosstrek from the factory back in March with estimated delivery in June. My current lease with a different auto maker was up in July and was told I'd need to purchase it from them in order to be able to trade it in on the Crosstrek. That's fine, no big deal. Went in to the other dealer a couple weeks ago and got everything taken care of to have it switched from lease to own. The Crosstrek came in a month early, and I haven't received the title yet on my trade. Here's where the problems start: First of all, they tried to lowball me on my trade to the tune of almost $5,000, even after I had a TrueCash offer obtained from THEIR website. (If you're not going to honor those quotes, then maybe you shouldn't affiliate yourself with TrueCar. It's not my fault used car prices are so high right now. YOUR inability to make a fat profit off my trade is not MY problem or concern!) Next, I'd obtained pre-approval financing via my credit union in case the Subaru in-house financing came back with a higher rate. Sure enough, my credit union financing came back 1.2% lower than the in-house pricing. I was then told because I hadn't gotten the title yet, I was REQUIRED to go with the higher rate in-house financing. I was then told I would have to give them a decision THAT DAY (today) if I wanted to have the car held for me. At that point I was done and requested a refund of my initial deposit. I highly recommend staying FAR, FAR AWAY from this dealer unless you just like being hugely taken advantage of. They, nor any other Bachman dealership, will EVER get another chance to earn my business again! More

This dealer is closest to home. While not always the lowest price, this time I knew I would get MSRP, and the sales agent was knowledgeable and easy to work with. While not always the lowest price, this time I knew I would get MSRP, and the sales agent was knowledgeable and easy to work with. More
Bachman Subaru recently did a Starlink update for 2017 Outback. Work was done in timeframe as promised. There was good communication from service advisor. Overall a very positive experience. Outback. The “manager” on duty was condescending and seemingly t family and I walked out a (after the brand new car we intended to buy had a sold sign on it). The “manager” on duty was condescending and seemingly thought I was an idiot because “it takes several hours to buy a car”. Everything was to be ready to sign and leave. The paperwork was not complete and the salesman tried to have me sign incorrect paperwork in order to charge us a much higher interest rate. I informed him it was not correct and he made it seem the the biggest hassle to expect and demand correct paperwork. Would never buy a car there. More
First, I'd like to say that the people I came in contact with over the course of 11-12 days while at Bachman Subaru were polite and seemed to follow Covid 19 guidelines which I appreciated! Now, Buyers Bewa with over the course of 11-12 days while at Bachman Subaru were polite and seemed to follow Covid 19 guidelines which I appreciated! Now, Buyers Beware. If you are in the market for a USED vehicle, please take it to an independent mechanic for evaluation before purchasing. I found and fell in love with a USED vehicle at Bachman Subaru this week, and had an accepted offer contingent on my taking the vehicle to my mechanic to be checked out. As soon as my mechanic opened the hood he knew the engine was not the original engine. It was clearly a used/salvaged engine. This was never disclosed to me or my husband. Dealer notes for the vehicle refers to it being inspected, serviced and detailed at the dealership by trained technicians. Shouldn't a trained technician recognize a used/salvaged engine? Maybe it was noted but not important enough to tell a buyer who thinks they are buying an original, reliable Toyota engine! Not to mention they want a premium price for the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle to Bachman Subaru I told the salesman and he made the comment that he had heard there was a vehicle on the lot with a second engine but did not know which one. While this may be ok for a dealership to do I think it is UNETHICAL to not disclose to a potential buyer. So, please do not go solely by the Carfax report because the Carfax report for this particular vehicle was clean, or any Dealer's info, have the vehicle checked by an independent mechanic you trust.
