I went to Bachman Subaru to purchase a new Subaru, I already own a Legacy, and was greeted by Eric and shown the Forester and the Outback. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a deal already own a Legacy, and was greeted by Eric and shown the Forester and the Outback. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership. Eric was very informed on the Subaru product and helped me in the decision of choosing which car would better fit my needs. I have a farm in Spencer county and drive a very rough road going to and from the farm....so I need a lot of space but also need a vehicle that will handle the road going to and from the farm. Eric was very helpful letting me drive both vehicles and explained the accolades of both as well but what I liked best was his sincerity, he never tried to sell me anything. He was genuinely interested in what would fill my needs. He did a great job not putting any pressure on me to make a decision... it was the best buying experience I have had! I do wish that I could've gotten a better price(lower) but overall I am extremely pleased with not only my new Subaru Outback but also with Eric and Bachman Subaru. For anyone looking for a low pressure dealership, this is the one! More
My daughter bought a 2008 Kia Rondo (55,000 miles) used from this dealer. Picked it up on Thursday evening. By the weekend was having trouble starting and then the check engine light came on. Was passed off to service manager. Manager said they didn't work on KIA's. That the 30 day warranty was only on the power train. Told us to take it to mechanic and get it diagnosed and let them know what was the problem and they might cover it. Luckily the 60,000 KIA warranty was still good. Took it to a KIA dealer and set up an appointment for them to fix it at no charge - was covered under the warranty. How can they sell a certified good used car (KIA) when they don't work on KIA's! Their lot was full of all types of used cars - decent prices, but they don't back them up. Once you drive off the lot, you are on your own!!! I would expect this from some small car lot - not a large dealer like this one! More
Damaged my vehicle during service and charged me for the damage. Would not trust dealer if I were you. It is not worth your time or money. Warning - Very bad customer service and dishonest. Paid healthy cash for used 'Certified' car...car needed brakes, dealer refused and argued the fact, returned car to service, where manager told me the break pads were a 3 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being new.. brakes, dealer refused and argued the fact, returned car to service, where manager told me the break pads were a 3 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being new...when I purchased the car the gas light was on, when I asked for a full tank, since I had just handed them over 10k CASH, he responded w/ a slight chuckle that they 'didn't fill up used cars'...he told the car dealer I was working w/ to go put five or ten bucks in the tank...two weeks later engine light came on, was told I need an oxygen sensor, which was covered by my warranty that I had purchased(thank god)....the car has been garage kept since purchased...recently moved and no longer have garage parking...rained yesterday and the entire back end of the car flooded...the seals around the back gate are bad...was told that it was not covered and I am responsible for full amount of repair...overall the customer service is nothing short of pathetic. I feel as though I am dealing w/ a no name car company. I would not recommend them to anyone, I really have nothing positive to say about my experience. If i could do it all over again, I would RUN. I am sure I am not the only one in this town that has had a 'bad' experience w/ them. I felt that since they were a 'big name' company handing them 10K for a certified used car would offer me some sort of 'assurance' of customer satisfaction or at least a 'work w/ me' attitude but each time they have basically said..'sorry, good luck...thanks for your hard earned cash, sucker.' I will never return to them and will take my car as far as Lexington to have any 'warranty' covered work repairs done. More

Pat the shuttle driver is one of the gems of Louisville. If I were a millionaire, i would hire him on the spot for my chauffer. Hilariously funny, biblically cheerful, always on time ... Why isn't there a hall of fame for these guys? The shop is smallish, ie, 3 bays, but has all the proper tools to get any job done. These guys value their reputation ... when i asked for diagnosis, they patiently explain what is needed and why ... Click and Clack would love these guys. More
Had my first unscheduled service appointment for an issue with my new Subaru. although it took two days to get my car back, the dealership did an excellent job keeping me informed and ultimately fixing the p with my new Subaru. although it took two days to get my car back, the dealership did an excellent job keeping me informed and ultimately fixing the problem. They even followed up a day later with a phone call just to make sure everything was to my liking. Wow, a dealer that really cares. Tremendous service!!! More
