645ci Ignition Coil Replacement Service consultant was very good and spent the time to discuss the repair and what some of the pros & cons were at this point regarding replacing the Service consultant was very good and spent the time to discuss the repair and what some of the pros & cons were at this point regarding replacing the other coils (non of which are malfunctioning at this time). It enabled me to make an informed decision about the repair, which I appreciated. And John has a great personality and sense of humor, which I also give him high marks for. More

The service representative I worked with was John Ramos. This was the second time I worked with John. John is a professional, cordial and knowledgeable service representative. The issue at hand was resolved, but I don't believe my oil was topped off. On my drive back to CT from Quebec City, Canada, the low oil light went on, and according to the rectangle that shows oil level, I was down to the last quarter. This was unnerving to say the least, as my vehicle had been in for service one week prior. I stopped, purchased 1 quart of the recommended oil and topped it off. It is 462 miles to Quebec City, Canada and the low oil light went on during the return drive just before we got to the U.S. border. This ought not have happened. I contacted the service department for assistance with the issue and spoke to Richard. He told me that the oil had been topped off when it was in for service on June 21, 2016. However, I do not see that it was on the paperwork I have. If getting my car serviced at a BMW service center, the car ought to be extremely well taken care of for safety purposes. More

Helpful service My CPO warranty was nearing expiration on my 2010 X3, and following less than satisfactory treatment from the previous owner's service department, ser My CPO warranty was nearing expiration on my 2010 X3, and following less than satisfactory treatment from the previous owner's service department, service advisor John Ramos told me to bring in the vehicle for a complimentary inspection (which I considered an act of good-will). At that time he also addressed another concern of mine that I'd had since purchasing the car, related to what I felt was less than optimal shifting behavior. Again, since diagnostics had nothing unusual to report, the previous service advisor had simply dismissed my concern as nothing out of the ordinary. After having completed the inspection and road test with nothing suspect to report, John did not simply hand me the keys and send me packing, as was the case with the prior dealership. He offered to put my mind at ease about potential transmission issues (as much as could be done) by providing me with the further option of performing a physical inspection of the transmission along with, fluid level, and any signs of fluid discoloration or burning. Though this entailed a moderate fee, I felt it was worthwhile. Again, it was reported to me that all appeared as it should, at which point John offered to me a reprogramming of the transmission as a potential fix to what I experienced. I accepted, and though this typically would have entailed an additional fee, it was performed without charge. Ultimately, I feel the reprogramming has made a satisfactory change in the shifting, providing the smooth, and predictable shifting I have come to expect from a BMW. So kudos to John Ramos and team for 1) listening 2) being proactive and responsive to my concerns 3) taking the time to be sure that I have departed a satisfied customer! Thanks!! More
