On my first visit to the dealership I was introduced to Barbara Marin (Service Manager) who was extremely helpful. My car was in the service center for almost a week but I was fine with that as I didn’t really need it. I needed a brake job but also to have a few other things checked out. When I first took delivery of my leased 330i, I complained that the brakes were touchy/grabby. I was told that "that is the way the car is designed". I also complained that the car makes a screec complained that the brakes were touchy/grabby. I was told that "that is the way the car is designed". I also complained that the car makes a screeching sound when backing up. I was told "to let it wear in". Now after only 18,000 miles I am being told I need a brake job for $2,300. The back brakes are at 4 mm and the front brakes are 9 mm which is the reverse of what it should be. This is unacceptable and I am very unhappy about this. Brakes on this model should last 30,000 to 50,000 miles or even more. This should be covered under warranty. Can anything be done about this? More
