Rude, terrible service. Avoid at all costs. I would absolutely give zero stars if I could and plan to report this service department to both BMW North America and the Better Business Bureau. We I would absolutely give zero stars if I could and plan to report this service department to both BMW North America and the Better Business Bureau. We brought our vehicle in for a service recall on the airbag (so, clearly not a minor issue) on a Wednesday and by Saturday STILL had not heard any update. We were told that this service department did not take appointments (lie) and that we would have the car back before Monday (lie). No service, no loaner, no communication. After being jerked around for days, we finally came in Saturday to pick our car up to take it elsewhere because it was clear no work was going to be done. The service manager, Richard Strickland, was incredibly rude and strangely self-entitled for a man that runs a terrible service department - he said he wasn't surprised no one got back to us in FOUR days. After we left with our car, he sent us an email indicating the service had been completed when it clearly had not (so, lie number three in almost as many days), and there is no way we would trust that it was done appropriately even if he somehow managed to do so before we drove off the lot. Avoid this place at all costs if you value any sort of competency or a manager that actually knows what he's doing. More
excellent emergency service After experiencing a tire puncture on the expressway, I showed up here just before closing time on a Friday night. I was greeted by Bo Brand and then in a few minutes by Blake Dumas. Both were very reassuring that they could handle the situation first thing in the morning (Saturday). (In the meantime, the run-flat tire worked perfectly.) I showed up Saturday morning. Check-in was easy, getting a beautiful loaner car was smooth and I got a call later in the day that the tire had been replaced along with some other scheduled (free maintenance). I'm a very satisfied BMW owner and I am especially thankful for the pleasant, professional treatment at BMW of Towson. Great job by the whole team there. Thank you. Richard Clouser Penn Yan, NY More
