I just bought my 3rd car from BMW of Towson on Friday. I already adored this dealership...but my most recent experience took it to a new level. Up to this point I had received nothing but incredible servic already adored this dealership...but my most recent experience took it to a new level. Up to this point I had received nothing but incredible service. Jose was who helped me with my recent purchase. What a pro. All too often salespeople don't really listen...they try to sell you what they want to sell you. Jose, on the other hand, was totally focused on my needs, budget, etc. and found the perfect car for me. I was so impressed with how he took my input that I hoped to buy an electric BMW when they come out in two years...and helped me see why a X3 made more sense at this time rather than a X5...get a great fully loaded car without spending a lot more for a X5...and then when the electrics come out, I would not have spent too much before buying that next car. How many salespeople would push you spending less than what you thought you thought you were going to have to spend? And he made the entire purchase so easy. Jose validated why I love this dealership so much...they are so head-and-shoulders above any other dealership I have ever worked with. As I briefly mentioned, I adore their service department. All of the service writers are seasoned car guys...they really know cars (as opposed to other dealers I worked with in Baltimore, like R & H that has young employees who know nothing about cars!). Besides knowing the business, everyone I have dealt with in the service department are also so friendly, caring and professional. And their policy of not requiring an appointment makes it so easy...and they have a great loaner car program. I cannot recommend them more strongly! More

I went to the dealer to look at a car I found on the BMW CPO website. When I got there and asked for someone to help with pre owned cars I got a person that started off with questions that made me think he CPO website. When I got there and asked for someone to help with pre owned cars I got a person that started off with questions that made me think he did not think I was capable of purchasing the car I was there to look at. First off I own a 2011 M3, so I can afford a used 5 series. I let him know I had found a few options but would like to stay local If possible. He immediately said that it was not possible to compare used cars as "each used car is unique" and would not answer questions I had about the difference between another 5 at another dealer. I asked to test drive and he asked if it was nessasary. I left completely turned off by this dealer. More
I recently had a terrific car buying experience with Peter Faris and Chris Dunkes at the Towson location. I had the car I wanted narrowed down to 2, the X3 and the X5 but, my heart was truly set on an Peter Faris and Chris Dunkes at the Towson location. I had the car I wanted narrowed down to 2, the X3 and the X5 but, my heart was truly set on an X5. I called Chris (who I knew from my previous BMW purchase at the Bel Air location) and he invited me to stop over to the Towson location to have a look around. When I got there, Chris introduced me to Peter who exhibited the patience of a saint with me as I was very picky in what I was looking for. Peter and Chris spent 2 days with me back and forth, undecided. I finally thought I was going to purchase a white/beige X3 but, at the last minute, I once again changed my mind and decided I really wasn’t going to be happy if I got anything other than the X5. The second night I was there, Peter once again took the time to look through the lot with me and I was able to find the X5 I wanted, black/black. Peter and Chris worked diligently with me (Chris by phone from the Bel Air location) for many hours to put me into my new car. It was after hours once everything was said and done and Peter patiently went over as much about the car as I wanted him to that night. He stayed at the dealership until 9:30pm going over the options on the car. The next day after work Peter invited me back to be sure I was comfortable with the car and all of the options and took the time to review all of the things I had questions about. I cannot say enough good things about both men and their collected efforts to help me and guide me through this experience. It has been delightful and I am happy to say I consider them both friends of mine and I plan to keep in touch with them. Because of Peter and Chris, I am in the car I dreamed of and I plan to continue to be a customer of Towson and Bel Air BMW! I just hope they will both be there in another 5 years when I get the itch again for another car! Thank you again Peter and Chris for all of your efforts and patience with me. You both are great and I couldn’t be happier with my choice!! More
In my search for a pre-owned BMW that eventually turned into a purchase of a new car, I dealt with several dealerships. Bo Brand found the car I wanted within hours of when I contacted him (unlike his competitors who took several days)right before he was leaving for vacation. While away he seamlessly handed off the follow-through to Bill Kasper who put the transaction together. It also became evident at the time of closing that the BMW of Towson staff including the finance manager, Tom Husson, had a genuine interest in automobiles and very knowledgeable of their product. They weren't just selling cars. . Although we live 60 miles from Towson, we will be going back to them when we buy our next car. More

So far we have had the unpleasant experience working with our salesman Rob. As was written in review before he is not interested in the customer at all. He sold us a new X3 and has taken no interest in helping us after the sale. He only returns phone calls and emails after I have gone to his sales manager. When we received the car the without all the things that we paid for and have been working to get them ever since. It is doubtful we would have been told that the locking lugs needed to be installed had I not pointed it out. My main concern is lack customer service after the sale. I had better service after I bought a 2003 Ranger from the Ford dealer. This has been a terrible car buying experience mainly due to our salesman. The dealership is going to have to work hard to get me to reconsider my opinion about them. I amending some of my earlier comments as the sales team has gone out of their way to smooth things over. Both of the sales managers, Ric and Chris also Rob, our salesman have taken the time to rectify the situation. As of now I have no complaints. I truly commend them on making the effort to work out the problem. This proves that they take the customer seriously and will work to make things right. I am glad that this has worked out because so many people had recommend this dealership. More
I went in because the sunroof on my 04 X5 stuck open on the back pane. Jason called me a few hours after dropping it off to tell me it need the cassette replaced. He told me they could disable the roof and lock it down. I asked several times if it would be locked down. After getting my X5 back the two panes that make up the sunroof were not locked down but were just laying down and popped up every time I closed the door. When he was confronted with this he began a he said I said argument and there was no solving the issue. Dealership before the customer attitude. I highly recommend Autobahn of Towson over this dealer if you need out of warranty work. More
Pre-judged me and my boyfriend when we walked in. Never let me test drive the car and pulled my credit right away without written consent. We were never approached in the lot and we had to go into the showroom and ask to be helped. Got snappy with us at the end, and never followed up with us like the three other dealerships we went to did. He was not a genuine trustworthy employee and we got that feeling right away. Called to complain and got no where with the manager. He said I should have came there ready to buy. For the whole hour we were there he never showed me a vehicle nor did I test drive one. More
